The morning comes I get up hearing a knock on the door, I open it and see Vasil and the others, my eyes wide open "what are you doing here this time?" Jenny says "Vasil and Joanna told us you are gonna leave so we thought of passing the rest of the day with you" I first stay freeze and then I close the door saying "wait a minute" I change and quickly go out seeing them laughing hysterically, with a smirk I ask "what's so funny?" Gelsida raise her head and nods "something random" they get up and I ask Joanna "have you eaten today?" "Yes two apples and a toast i smile bright, feeling a knob being cut on my chest, i turn on Ellie and ask "will you guide us again?"
Ellie says "Of course, who else could do it" Dane Jenny and Gelsida raise their arms and Ellie says "but you don't know all the places" Dane responds "but we know where we are going right now" Ellie look Dane with her eyes half closed and turns her back on him and opens the gate.
We continue all the way up the mountain on a narrow path, at the left a rim with trees at the sides covering the ground at the right hearing water running , from above us two streams of water split by a line of rocks, as we walk we see them collide and falling to a small lake, we step in large green stones and we descend looking at the water and the green flora around us ,suddenly i hear a small bell ringing and i look at the other side at a carved girl on a tree ,wearing robes along with her eyes looking up, i look at her eyes direction and see a large tree on the hill with another woman reaching her hand on her, i turn my gaze back seeing bells tied in the tree along with small signs, i go closer and look at the signs "kathrine x john" "the boys where here" i look behind me and see the others opening their backpacks and taking small signs out along with ropes, Vasil look at them with his eyes open and Ellie takes out of her backpack a knife and Dane and Alan give a sign to me and Vasil and Ellie pass the knife to Vasil "you go first" Vasil look at it for minutes and Jenny says "do you need help?" Vasil look her into her eyes and then look back at the sign writing.
We go beside him and look at the sign curving all our names with small letters and then writing in russian "были там" he tie it to the rope and then at the tree,
Jenny asks "what does it say?" "Were here" Ellie says with an ironic tone "so original"
And Ellie pass the knife to me, before I start writing I look at the black handle protruding to the right and then I start thinking and immediately start curving "may you find the blessing of this place" the others look at it questionably and
Gelsida says "isn't it a bit too poetic?" before I open my mouth Vasil and Ellie say "it's fine" and both look eah other, i pass the knife on Dane and swiftly writes with uneven letters "don't have anything to say" he pass it on Joanna "next time come with your friends and the next with more friends"
Ellie writes "bring some vodka and your friends"
Jenny takes it from her hands "but not the alcoholic friend" Ellie look at hwr with narrow eyes and Gelsida grabs the knife drawing a face with its eyes looking elsewhere with degradation and Alan draws a smiley face.
Ellie tie them together with the knob almost touching the ground.
Joanna and the others draw their phones taking pictures.
Dane look at me and says "film me" he run and jump on a large rock then at the next and makes a back flip and lands on the ground, The others clap or whistle and Dane grow a smile.
We sit at the rocks and start talking, losing the sense of time and leaving our phones to our pockets
Vasil draws his phone and says "it's almost two o'clock, shouldn't we go?" "We can still sit for another five minutes" he nods his head and makes the same question two more times, giving him the same answer before I decide to get up.
Ellie points her finger at another road in front of us "we will go much sooner if walk on this road" we follow her inside the woods, having no sunlight to hit us or any noise.
As we continue Ellie suddenly stops and says as she try to hold her excitement "guys a fox" we all look on the road and see a fox sitting behind a tree Gelsida draws her phone and we do the same but the fox stares at us for a moment and runs, Gelsida leaves an unpleasant sigh, placing her phone back on her pocket.
We reach the house, taking everything and leaving the keys at the owner, taking the cases and waiting at the bus stop with the others. As we laugh Joanna says with a
Jubilant boice "can you give me your phone? And your profile?" We look at each other plaintive and then with a smirk, we change phones and she looks behind my shoulder, I turn seeing the bus on the road, Ellie and Jenny jump and hug me first, Gelsida and the others come next and Vasil gives me his hand and pulls me towards him, placing his hand at my back and me doing the same saying "we will hang out when I come back" "we will, I know a nice place to see the whole city" he smirks and takes his hand, I look at
Joanna and she lean her body on me, placing one hand on my head and the other on my back "come again" "I will" the bus stops and I place the bags inside And go inside with the others waving at me, I smile and walk towards the seats as the door close.
I sit looking plaintive outside the window, the hours passing fast and abruptly the phone ring, a message from Joanna, I look at it and see a video with all of them talking to the camera and then the camera focusing on the sky and the view.
I smile and I sent them a photo, suddenly a wave of more videos are popped onto the screen, I look at them one by one, hearing Vasil saying that we will go out when he goes back, Ellie and the others saying they wait for me to come back and Joanna reminding me to sent her a message before when I reach home, my smile widen and a drop of sadness comes to me, we continue talking all the way home and then all night and then the next day and the next, But week by week talking less and less.
