Pt 2 of Xiao x Reader

~Later~
After much persuasion, I get the two to agree to pull up at a bar or something.
“Okay,” I smile, scanning the Liyue streets for a clothes shop. “We need to make you two look stunning for tonight.”
I skip down the street, leaving the two behind walking alongside each other.
“There’s one!” I yell, pointing to a modern clothes shop. I drag the two inside the shop and pick out clothes for them.

For Lumine, I picked out a black leather jacket, a tight-fitting tank, a belt, and black shiny pants. 222Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡrsKIsO7yWH
For myself, I picked out some black ripped jeans, an oversized gray shirt on top of a long-sleeved back shirt, and red Air Jordan 1’s.
My jaw drops seeing the two walk out, they look amazing.
“You guys are about to experience the party life!” I smile, clutching the two to my side.
We arrive at the bar and I can see girls staring at Xiao, and boys staring at Lumine.
“Alright, guys! Go have fun.” I smile as a group of girls calls Lumine over right away, but Xiao stays by my side.
He takes my hand and leads me out of the back of the building.
I exhale as he takes my hand and pins me against the brick wall.
“Why are you taking me here?” He mutters, his breath fogging in the cold night air.
I look up at his yellow eyes, they seem honest but painful.
“To have fun, to get drunk, to hook up with a girl you like?” I try to smile, but his face being so close to mine makes me think of other thoughts.
He stands, pounding his fist against the wall by my head.
I flinch and he notices.
“I’m not that kind of person.” He whispers. “You think the only thing I think about is Lumine.”
I sigh, looking away.
“I never said that! Come on Xiao, don’t ruin the fun.” I smiled at him, but I couldn’t move from him as he pinned me against the cold, brick wall.
“Why aren’t you letting me go?” I groan, hitting his arm gently.
“Because you’re going to go do something stupid,” Xiao mutters.
“Then come with me!” I smile as he steps backward and I drag him back inside by the hand.
Lumine seems to be enjoying herself, so I don’t worry about her.
Xiao sits on the stool at the bar, some girl next to him starts up a conversation and I smile, hoping he would find something in common with that girl and have fun because he was acting like he was miserable with me.
I order a shot and look surprised as I hear Xiao order one too. He shakes his head and the girl leaves him. He turns over to me.
“Let’s drink together. It’s your fault I’m here so let’s make a toast to having fun.” Xiao smiles at me politely and we both wait for our drinks.
This side of Xiao is something I haven’t seen before.
The bartender gives us our shots.
I noticed by the smell of Xiao’s, he got a mint shot.
I got a pineapple one.
I and Xiao clink glasses and both make a face. He smiles his precious smile and begins to laugh.
“This tastes so bad!” He laughs. “How do people willingly drink this?”
“Try a different flavor next time, mine was pineapple.” I smile, admiring Xiao’s personality change.
“You don’t drink? I can tell.” I laugh. “You should have fun more often, It’s good for the soul,”
Xiao orders us both shots but refuses to tell me the flavors he got. In the corner of my eye, I see Lumine downing pints of beer with her new friends. Xiao hands me my shot and I smell cherry.
“I thought cherry suited you.” He smiles as he takes his shot.
I take a shot and smile at Xiao.
“Since we’re getting each other drunk, we have to stick together for the night, especially because you’ve never gotten drunk before.” I look over to Xiao, who nods.
“Hey, let’s drink some beer after 1 more shot.” I smile, bouncing on my stool.
We get our last shots and drink them quickly, ordering some beer.
“Woooo!” Xiao yells, drinking his last blue raspberry shot.
I smile at his rosy cheeks, telling me he’s no longer sober.
I cover my mouth as Lumine walks up and he pulls her in for a kiss.
Her new friends squeal as she and Xiao passionately kiss.
I start clapping loudly and whistling. Her friends walk up and ask who the man is.
“Oh, his name is Xiao.” I smile. “I’ve been trying to get them together for a while now.”
“Good call!” The tall one smiles.
Xiao and Lumine finally pull away from their kiss. Xiao smiles and looks back at me.

I smile and nod my head gently, looking away from his eyes.
“You bet.” I chug another can of beer and Xiao just stares at me, leaning on his elbow on the counter.
“You’re adorable.” He smiles. “How can you drink that much? Are you thinking about someone?”
“Hmm,” I say, tapping my fingers on the counter. “Nope, just me, myself, and I.”
I see Lumine walking up behind Xiao again, she wraps her arms around his neck.
“Xiao,” She smiles, looking at him and then at me. “y/n, my friends have a good idea.”
Xiao willingly follows her and her friends to a private room in the back.
I see as they blindfold him and Lumine takes his shirt off.
I stare, from the corner of the door.
Lumine leans over and starts to kiss him, she slips off the blindfold and I watch Xiao’s eyes meet hers.
“Is this because you're drunk?” He asks, looking at her.
He gently takes a strand of her hair and tucks it behind her ear.
He pulls her to his exposed chest. “You need to be careful.”
I lean on the doorframe. I smile as I watch them bond.
Lumine looks up at him as she lies on his chest.
“I can hear your heartbeat racing.” She smiles, tracing his chest with her pointer finger. “Is this because you’re excited to see me?”
He closes his eyes slowly and gently rubs the back of Lumine’s neck.
“You guys, leave.” Lumine smiles at her friends.
They all push past me quickly.
“Thanks for taking me out here tonight, it’s been fun.” He whispers, moving his hands from the back of her neck to the front, where he plays with her necklace.
I shouldn’t be watching this…
“I can admit, you look pretty sexy with the outfit that y/n got you on.” Lumine smiles, gasping as his hands tickle her neck, playing with her necklace.
“Aren’t you great?” He mumbles as he wraps his jacket around her waist.
“Go Lumine!” I whisper as her eyes meet mine.
She smiles and tilts her head down to kiss Xiao again.
I leave, heading back out to the bar.
“Can I buy you a drink?” A voice asks from behind.
I turn to see a man with long green hair and glasses.
“Sure!” I smile “I’m y/n, nice to meet you!”
He smiles at me.
“I’m Baizhu, nice to meet you y/n.”
He politely orders us drinks and I lay my head down on the bar.
“Baizhu?” I ask, holding my hand out to him.

“I think I’m already drunk, I’ve drank 3 shots, a pint of beer, and a can of beer too.”
His eyes widened.
“I guess you won’t be drinking anymore.” Baizhu smiles. “I could’ve been some creep. Are you here alone?”
“No,” I smile. “I think my friends are fucking in the back room.”
He laughs and smiles at me.
“You’re something, huh?”
Baizhu grins and takes his glasses off to clean them.
“Hey!” I yell, pointing at him. “You look like an entirely different person. It sucks to be blind, huh?”
He covers his mouth to laugh politely.
I see Lumine come out of the back room. Her makeup looks ruined.
“y/n.” She says, grabbing my wrist.
Baizhu looks up at her, and back to me.
“My friend, Lumine.” I smile.
“Yes, I know her, long time no see traveler.” She sits down on the stool by him and I go to find Xiao.
He’s still in the back room, but I feel the atmosphere change.
“Hey,” He says, knowing that I’ve entered the room. “I broke a promise, I’m sorry.”
“You never promised anything. What’s wrong?” I ask, sitting next to him.
“I promise that I will stay with you the entire night.” He mumbled.
“You’re drunk, what can I expect?” I smile, snuggling up to him. “Did you have fun?”
“We didn’t do anything. I guess I said something wrong without thinking and Lumine left to get you,” Xiao said, hugging me gently.
“I’m sure you said nothing wrong. She’s drunk too.”
I look over at him and close my eyes.
I drift off to sleep.
Xiao looks over to me and taps my shoulder.
“She’s asleep.” He says to himself.
He gently wraps me in his arms and walks out to Lumine and Baizhu.
“She’s sleeping.” He whispers, putting a finger to his mouth. “Let’s leave Lumine.”
Baizhu looks at my gently asleep face and smiles.
“I’ll drive you guys home. I haven’t drunk anything tonight.”
Lumine gets in the passenger seat and Xiao gets in the back, still holding me in his arms.
An 80's Japanese song plays softly on the radio.
Lumine tells Baizhu the directions to the hotel and we arrive soon.
Baizhu watches until we safely get into the hotel and drive away.
We check into the room and Xiao takes off my shoes and my overshirt to prevent me from overheating. I roll over in bed and fall asleep.
Xiao opens a book and reads it as he lies next to me. Every once in a while, he looks over at me to check if I’m awake. He almost feels lonely, the two girls asleep and having nothing to do.
