Hey there, folks! I’m really sorry for ghosting you all for so long- seriously, I’ve been practicing my disappearing act! I know many of you are fans of this book, and here I am finally dropping a new upload after what feels like an eternity. Spoiler alert: it’s super short! Life has been throwing me some curveballs lately. I just kicked off my sophomore year of high school, which is basically my first official year in the big leagues. And let me tell you, my high school is so massive that even Google Maps would throw up its hands in defeat! But on the bright side, I'm taking a creative writing class now, so get ready for more uploads coming your way soon. Thanks for being so understanding- you’re the real MVPs!81Please respect copyright.PENANAbs83imRjXj

My eyes widen in astonishment. "What...?" I murmur. "Marry me," Ace reiterates. I find myself staring at him, utterly at a loss for words. "I believe you are intoxicated," I respond, then address the driver, "Please take us home."
The driver acknowledges my request and proceeds to drive. Ace eventually drifts off to sleep, his head resting upon my lap. Subconsciously, I run my fingers through his hair gently. As I gaze out of the window, I realize that our surroundings are unfamiliar to me. "Excuse me, sir," I say to the driver, "I believe you may be heading in the wrong direction." He turns to face me and assures, "Do not worry, Ms. Seo; I will ensure your safe return home."
I regard him with understanding and immediately grasp his implication. Home? I had anticipated feeling relief at escaping from my kidnapper; however, a faint tug at my heart emerges. What if my new home were with the man seated beside me now?
