"Dude, you don't look so good." Sen poked at my face.
Ever since that night, I couldn't stop thinking about Nikolas. My mind felt hazy whenever he came into my mind. I could faintly remember the feeling of his cold hands that had a special warmth.
"Aki? Hello~" Sen waved his hand in front of me.
I came back to my senses and brushed my disheveled pink hair with my hand. "I know, it's because I stayed up late getting my sports bag back."
"Where was it?"
"Um, I left it at a friend's house... I went to his house late last night to get it."
Sen gasped. "You have other friends besides us- OW!" Ryunosuke smacked Sen on the head.
"At least now you got your stuff back," Ryunosuke said. "Strange how it was at his house."
I groaned and leaned back in my seat. "Tell me about it! I've been stressed over it for the past two days."
"Hmm," Sen looked me up and down, "I think there's something else on your mind."
"Nope." I chugged my protein drink.
"I bet he's worried about his grades! No, no, you're not studious..." Sen pondered.
Ryunosuke had a mouthful of rice and said, "He has a little crush on someone."
I spat out my drink all over Sen.
"NOOO MY SHIRT!" Sen wailed.
Ryunosuke's eyes widened in disbelief and handed Sen his handkerchief.
Still choking, I managed to reply, "NEVER! You know how I am with girls..."
"I didn't say your crush was a girl," Ryunosuke smirked.
I covered my hand with my mouth. I felt my face warming up. "T-that's crazy! I've only ever been with girls, I don't think I like guys..."
Sen vigorously dabbed his shirt with the handkerchief to take out the brown stain. "IT LOOKS LIKE I SHIT MYSELF!"
"On your chest?" Ryunosuke rolled his eyes while pushing up his glasses.
I grumbled and got out of my seat. "Here, I have an extra shirt." I shoved a white dress shirt in Sen's face.
"I love you, Akio, even though you were the one who spat at me." He started to take off his shirt and put on the new one.
"That was my bad..."
"Well, you'll eventually have to tell us who your heartthrob is." Sen grinned and giggled in a high-pitched voice. "Aki-chan has a crush~! Aki-chan has a crush~!"
"That's it, COME HERE!" I jumped up and started to tickle Sen.
"AHH AKI STOP!" He screamed between laughs.
"I'm gonna eat the rest of your sandwich, Sen." Ryunosuke chomped down and hummed to himself while I wrestled Sen on the floor.

I heard a faint knocking on my window in the middle of the night. I grumbled and turned in my bed. The noise became louder. I squeezed my eyes shut, but couldn't ignore it any longer. I pushed my blankets aside and walked up to my window to see Nikolas.
I groggily opened my window as he waved at me. "What are you doing here? Don't you have school?" I muttered, rubbing my eyes.
"I don't have school on Wednesdays." He crossed his arms on the window sill and put his head down.
"Did you come here to hang out?"
He nodded while looking to the side, showing off his long lashes. I saw that he was effortlessly standing on my roof. I noticed he wasn't wearing a school uniform.
My palms started to feel sweaty. "Well, I have school tomorrow so I can't tonight. We can plan a day to hang out. Do you have SMS?"
The boy nodded and brought his phone out. After sharing our accounts, he said goodbye and transformed into a bat. I watched him until his silhouette could no longer be seen in the distance.
I collapsed onto my bed clutching my phone to my chest. I went into a giggle fit and kicked my feet happily. After being in a daze, I decided to text him.
