Author's Note:
Ahoy ye mateys! The name's Captain Ally and today we'll be sailin' the waters of yonder Neverland, through The Second Star To The Right. Grab yer Pixie Dust and yer sword and come along! (FYI, ye might've read this story three or four other places, as I've spread it around quite a little bit).
Notes about the book:
I own NOTHING but my OCs and my land of Elfatopia. All other rights go to Disney!
Story takes place in Neverland, The Mainland (a.k.a human world) and my own fictional world of Elfatopia.
This honors a few fanon and headcanon theories, such as Disney's The Little Mermaid franchise is set in Neverland along with the Disney's Winnie The Pooh franchise.
This story doesn't count the 2023 Live Action Direct To Disney+ Film Peter Pan And Wendy or any other rendition as Canon, only based on the 1953 Disney Animated Feature Film and Jake And The Neverland Pirates (which is pretty on par with the original film).
We'll see real characters plus a lot of OCs made by either me or my very good friends who helped me dream this book up.
Oh, and all plagiarizers will be mutinied and keelhauled.
*Someone in the other room: "Ally, that sounds too threatening!"*
*Me: "Oh fine! All plagiarizers shall be reported to Penana admins!"*
Average word count per chapter: 800-1,000 words.
Each chapter is from a different POV. Sorry if this is confusing or annoying.
This book was written between April and October of 2023 and I started publishing it on Quotev in September of 2023, where it remains unfinished and occasionally updated and then on Wattpad and Fanfiction.Net in June. That being said, please do not judge me for something I wrote more than a year ago!
Fare thee well, smooth sailing and happy reading!
Signed, Captain Ally. 🦜😎

✨ Prologue✨:
This has all happened before, and it will likely happen again.
But this time, it happened in Neverland...
Once upon a time, a very long time ago, there lived a family named Hook. They lived in a very unmagical land called Scotland.
In fact, it was so unmagical folks tried to make up Legends to draw tourists.
There was the Loch Ness Monster,
and the Unicorn,
and perhaps the most absurd of them all; golf.
The Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie, as some local folks called her, was said to be some sort of sea dragon, green or blue in color apparently.
And the Unicorn, which was a horse with a single, cone shaped horn on it's head that was said to have healing properties.
And perhaps the most absurd of all, Golf. Golf was a game that some played. It involved plaid, inordinate amounts of hat, and smacking little wooden balls into holes and trying not to seriously injure any gophers, or rabbits, or squirrels, or birds, or humans, or Loch Ness Monsters, or trees, or large hats, or plaid or anything else you might find on a golf course.
You might find any of that, besides Loch Ness Monsters, of course. But the one thing you would never find, no matter the day, no matter the time, or season or weather or whatever, was Captain James Atticus Hook, The First.
Captain James A. Hook, The First didn't have time for idle hands. He was too busy fishing, sailing, thinking about fishing or sailing, drawing maps, going on expeditions, eating Hardtack, keeping his crew in order, or crossing swords with a swashbucklin' buckaneer.
Namely, his wife, Captain Emmaline Mary Elminia Hook, formally Princess Emmaline MaryAnn Alaina Beatrice Caroline Diana Elminia Of Elmwood.
She'd run away from her home and her lineage to the Royal Empire to be a pirate. She recruited her own little crew, on her ship, The Jolly Roger. She met Captain James in a battle when her crew tried to raid his ship. They married a year later. She thought he was a pirate to begin with and was quite disappointed when she found out he didn't pilage and plunder.
She hated the fact that he was honest and he hated the fact that she wasn't. Nevertheless, they loved each other and she always had someone she could trust: her husband, honest or not.
They had two children: James Bartholomew Hook, The Second and Emily Catherine Hook. Now to Captain Emmaline, or Mama, as she was now known to most's delight, James became a fine pilager. Stealing from his schoolmates before he graduated primary. She was very proud of him and he joined her crew of pirates as a Cabin Boy when he was eleven years old.
Emily, however, was her mother's dilemma. She took after her father. She was honest and excelled in school, especially in History, Arithmetic and Literature. She was a "good" child and had many friends. Her mother couldn't stand it though.
This made way for many arguments and the occasional physical fight, normally between the boy and his father.
Nevertheless, the two grew into clever children, though clever in different ways. One in all good spirited things; school lessons, and was good at impressing almost anyone, especially a gingerhaired boy named William Pan, a schoolmate of hers.
And the other was clever in cunning ways; the persuasive arts and impressing folks, especially his mother.
The two were fine playmates, despite the fact they could almost never agree on anything.
As the days went on, Emily became quite a beautiful young lady. Her and the gingerhaired William Pan began courting. Two years later, they were wed.
James though, stayed above any romantic endeavors, besides the sea. For a while anyway. His days were spent trying to impress his mother and doing hard labor work. He had been promoted to Third Mate at fifteen and was quite proud.
As more years passed, Emily and William, had a son, gingerhaired like his father. He was called Peter.
From the first time they met, Peter and his uncle James had been somewhat offbeat.
As he got older, his uncle became a sort of sparring partner and Peter became excellent at fencing. They dueled and whatnot while Peter trained to be a sailor and soldier, like his grandfather and father.
But their mutual dislike only grew, to become a disdain, a hate and then a full blown rivalry.
Now my friends, sit back and let me tell you the story of dislikes, loves, feuds, fights, ships, Captains, Kings, crocodiles, clocks, hooks, fairies, stars and perhaps, just a pinch of Pixie Dust.
Here's a tale of a place called Neverland, where Pixies play and mermaids giggle and dreams sometimes come true... ✨
