Now this will cover both 6 and 7 because one flows right into the next so it is like a two parter. This is why I decided to cover them both in one as 6 nicely sets up 7 and the conflict.882Please respect copyright.PENANAMbf0RSZZw0

> Storyline: Chapter 6 opens with a mystery as to what has Kioshi so frightened as well as whose blood is splattered about the gray scene. Soon we get to see the events from earlier and learn it is the anniversary of the terrorist bombing. Kioshi and Nekeo have an exchange before he leaves in an emotional cloud. During his walk we get to see what happened that day before it catches up to where the chapter opened. Time is moving slow and we see what took place and it's heartbreaking. Cops try to pull Kioshi away only for him to break free and it's here at the end that we meet 1 of 2 new characters.
I enjoyed Kioshi's thoughts and us getting to see what went on before the bombing and having that lead into seeing what took place before the start of the manga, wonderfully executed.882Please respect copyright.PENANAgH775sjecP

Chapter 7 picks up right where Chapter 6 left off and this new character quickly whisks Nekeo and Kioshi off to a room inside Hisao's mansion. When Kioshi questions this demon, he doesn't exactly get the answer he was hoping for. Instead we get to see 1 type of demon game. It is also now we meet our 2nd new character and learn about the game. Kioshi is in no mood for this but has no choice but to play, despite what he 1st demon had said about him having a choice. After much debating and remembering the past, Kioshi makes his choice. The 2 demons are shocked and can't believe it. When their logic is shot down they leave in a huff and Hisao comes in the room. Not happy to see uninvited guests, and a comment by Nekeo, the duo quickly find themselves leaving in order to keep their lives.
I enjoyed how it kept the pain and suspense the previous chapter set up. I also liked the humorous ending. That was needed after seeing Kioshi going through so much in needing to pick in the demon's game. Nicely executed for the conclusion of the 1st 2 parter of Tame.882Please respect copyright.PENANAra7DAARWSv

> Visual: Both chapters are wonderful with the level of detail in the background and on the characters. I enjoyed the expressions very much as before and the emotion reflecting in their eyes. Even the subtleties were nice such as in one scene of Nekeo having one eye just barely cracked opened to eye food Kioshi had in hand. That was a nice little hint at his later listed favorite food. The tone was consistent with a wonderful ending. The movement of the characters were fluid and very quick by the end given how they were fleeing from the angry waifu Kireina. The use of grayer and textured panels was a nice touch. It gave a strong feeling of those scenes on TV of where an event is happening, we hear the character's inner thoughts and then it switches to showing the audience what took place before where the scene opened up.
The 2 new demons and the new humans we meet are wonderfully designed and unique. 882Please respect copyright.PENANAbnKLffc3pi

> Characters: Our 1st new cast member is named Unmei who is a demon of unknown age and is the circumstance type. This little short cutie looks innocent enough and I thought was going to be something like a librarian. I was wrong. This little cute creature is so devious and has such a devious smile I was shocked and questioning how something so small could be so mean. I still loved this character even though I wanted to swat her out of the air for what she and her sister pulled.
Our 2nd new cast member is Risutoa who is a demon with an unknown age and is also in the circumstance type. She is also Unmei's sister. This little cutie with a large clock around her neck plays a key part in the demon's game. Holding the 2 souls she is so cheerful through the game it is almost in the same line as Unmei. I'm wondering how something so adorable and small could be so mean and devious at the same time. I still want to cuddle her because she's so adorable looking.
Our 3rd new cast member we meet is Chiyo who is Kioshi's dead human sister. We also get to briefly meet his parents. They are nice with a pleasant energy about them as well as a funny moment between them. Chiyo is the kind and lighter side to the somewhat negative Kioshi in the flashback. She has a lively energy about her that is wonderful. This makes it even the more tragic as he debates between the two who are closes to him and if he would do what he thought he would always do in theory.
Kioshi had the most growth and made a big stride in advancing as a person. He manages to make the right, although harder, choice and starts to advance forwards instead of letting himself to continue to linger in the past. This is wonderful and makes me so happy for him. All it took was a demon game to help him realize what he had.
Hisao and Kireina were lovely and welcomed in my opinion. After so much sadness a nice funny moment was needed. Hisao was his usual self and Kireina was as intimidating as before after she transformed her arms into blades. The only difference this time is that she was ordered to attack them both. This is in comparison to the first time she changed which was her own choice and was only targeting Nekeo.882Please respect copyright.PENANAqINq7hbDtl

> Impact: These two chapters had me tearing up and on the edge of my seat. I was hoping Nekeo would somehow be saved and seeing Kioshi struggle just kept me glued to the pages. I could feel the pain and hurt Kioshi was going through as I'm sure anyone who has lost a loved one would understand. Seeing him cry over losing someone close broke my heart. I also celebrating by the end and laughed at Unmei's reaction to the heartwarming reunion.882Please respect copyright.PENANA3DEoqADnAm

I did have a questioning thought during Chapter 7 if it would trail into the demon sisters using magic while Kioshi's eyes were closed to try tricking his mind into thinking he had picked Chiyo. Then we could have gotten to see something like this:
- Kioshi wakes up and he's with Chiyo. He asks what happened and she explains there was a bombing but he's safe now.
- Cops come and help escort them out of the school. They get checked out by EMS and are sent on their way while the scene is taken care of.
- They return home and things go like any normal day. Chiyo is helping Kioshi as they support one another after learning their parents didn't make it, along with any other family members and friends that may have been in attendance. All seems fine and normal with Kioshi having no frontal memory of Nekeo.
- Gradually over what seems to be a short period of time, different things start to flicker through his mind or he sees things that start making him feel uneasy. He starts feeling like something is missing and that something isn't their parents.
- When Chiyo asks him if he's okay he tells her yes but she insists on him not keeping things bottled up. When he tells her that he feels like someone's missing, she explains that it will feel like that for a while during their grieving for the dead.
- Kioshi tells her it isn't their parents that he feels like are missing but someone else, even though he can't think of a name. Chiyo doesn't understand and tries to comfort him with her cheerfulness.
- It isn't until they are walking by, say a pet store window where they have a selection of new critters for sale. Kioshi sees a black and white cat that is looking bored in a corner after being kicked back by its litter mates. Kioshi softly whispers "Nekeo?" with confusion before rubbing his eyes. He could swear he just saw a flash of a pair of tags in the cat's one ear.
- He blinks and thinks he saw a collar around its neck. He winces with his head hurting as this image comes to mind along with other scenes involving the black and white cat. His mind is trying to remember and the things around him start to not feel real.
- When he looks at the cat again he see's a flash of the tags again in the feline's ear and after a collar with the tags on it once more. He looks around while Chiyo is trying to get him to tell her what's wrong. She tries calming him as he backs away.
- Kioshi apologizes, explaining how he thought he would do anything to see her again but he can't do this. He explains he can't give up his friend who has become like his family over their time together. He hopes she can understand.
- Chiyo is stunned then smiles and nods, telling Kioshi to follow his heart and she will understand no matter who he chooses. Kioshi snaps out of it, shattering the illusion just in time to announce who he picks to save. We then see things play out as we do.882Please respect copyright.PENANADy0XWCwANg

But I did enjoy much more how it goes originally as it felt so strong and fluid with the emotional struggle Kioshi was having.882Please respect copyright.PENANAUEqdSdJLXf

I love these two back-to-back chapters. The set up and lead into the other was wonderfully executed. I would recommend anyone who hasn't checked this series out to do so. I am very much looking forward to what is in store as this series continues.
