I think every book lover has a reason for their love. I know some people like simply reading for pleasure, or because they love going on adventures. However, books are escapes. Perhaps you read to escape your world, to be free of worries or problems or fears. I read to escape sometimes too. It's an outlet for me and I'm in love with the thrill. While it's said that actions speak louder than words, I choose to believe that sometimes unspoken words speak even louder than actions.
Words are beautiful. They are rhythmic and loud and sharp and gentle. I live for words, I love words. I know that I'm not alone in this love, and that makes me happy. Sometimes though, I feel nostalgic, alone, sad. I wish so much to be able to go through some amazing experience like the characters in the books I read. I want to feel special, important; but then I think about how nobody's life is exactly like someone else's, and that makes me feel like I have my own story to live.
I'm sorry for sounding kind of sappy about this, but sometimes it helps me to just verbalize what things mean to me you know?
Anyways, my point is that everyone has a reason for why they love something or someone, and those reasons are important and special. Things/people/places all hold a special meaning to someone.
You are important, you are needed, you are special. You may think your life isn't exciting, but you don't know what awaits you in the future. The things you go through are unlike anything that's ever happened in history. Whether they be good or bad, easy or difficult, there is a reason and something to be gained and found. Keep your head up and hang in there. You are NOT alone, EVER.
