As the sun started to peek in through the window of Jade’s room she rolled over to stretch although when she did she ended up remembering that she wasn’t alone in the bed. As she looked over she saw Drake still sleeping in the bed right next to her passed out like a little baby. Knowing that she is probably up before everyone else she knew that she could sneak to the kitchen and get them both some coffee. As she slowly got out of bed she reached back and gently started to cover him up a little bit making sure not to wake him. As she slipped on her robe she heard him grunt in his sleep and she muffled a laugh as she slowly and very quietly headed out of the room heading down to the kitchen. Brewing up a fresh pot and leaving it there for the next person she soon headed back up the stairs heading to her room again. Luckily she wasn’t spotted knowing that right now she really didn’t want to deal with anyone that could have seen her including Olivia. Knowing that she treated Drake the way that she did she knew that Olivia would be the first to cause an issue with her if she would have seen Drake in her room. Though as she saw the coast was clear she slipped back into her room closing and locking the door behind her. Again, taking it slow and quietly she headed back towards the bed and set his coffee down on the night stand as she sat in the chair looking out the window at the fresh morning sun. Though as she looked out she thought about yesterday and thought about how the events unfolded and how Liam was sweet enough to come check on her but then how Drake really never left her. As the memory of that swam through her mind she took in a deep breath thinking about what she should do. She looked out over the lawn that was shining with the sun beating on the fresh snow from the night before and for the first time she felt warm and felt comfortable and as she looked over seeing Drake sleeping there she knew that as long as he was still there, she was going to be alright, but this wasn’t fair to either one of them.
As she continued to look out the window she didn’t realize that Drake had started to move around a little bit and started to sit up. “You know they say that you shouldn’t look right out into the sun, you could go blind.” He said as he started to stretch out, his brown hair all bunched up on the side and his eyes looking a little on the tired side “Did…did you and I, sleep in the same bed last night?” he asked as he looked around at the bed seeing that one side doesn’t even look touched. Jade smiled to him and thought that she could mess with him a little bit as she started to get up from where she was sitting and walking over to get him some Asprin as she stated “You…you don’t remember last night, gosh I thought that we would have woke the whole place, luckily we are here at the end of the house.” She said walking towards him as his eyes got wide “Morgan! What the hell happened last night?” he said standing up way too fast grabbing his head and sitting back down instantly feeling the throbbing in his head. “That makes me sad that you don’t remember coming to my room and literally falling into my bed and falling asleep, I may have to go cry as you don’t remember our moment together.” She said giving a little pouty face as he reached out for her pulling her to be standing before him and taking her hips in his hands “You know damn well that if we did spend the night together, I wouldn’t be waking up with a hangover” he said tickling her sides a little bit as she laughed out “Hey hey now I had you going for a little bit didn’t I? Now here drink the coffee, sorry there is no added whiskey and take these” she said starting to hand him his coffee and the Asprin. Slowly he took them from her and doing as she said though watching her as he did both. “I am sorry for last night, I just…I had a few with Liam and after that I just knew that I had to see you before I took off somewhere outside.” He said starting to drink the coffee rather quickly knowing that its not as hot as it should be as it had been sitting there. “Its alright I am glad that you came here instead of going off on your own, I don’t think that Liam would want to find his best friend frozen outside, and I know that I wouldn’t be able to stand that either” she stated as she started to smile to him and starting to turn to head back to her chair but Drake grabbed her before she could bringing her to his lap “I mean it Morgan, you….you and Liam are the only ones that I have and I know that last night could have gone a lot worse than it did. So I do thank you for that.” Drake stated as he held her there looking up to her “Well, you’re welcome, you are more than welcome to crash here or anywhere anytime if you need too” she gave him a smile that she didn’t really know she had anymore and though her brain was telling her no, her heart told her yes as she leaned in kissing his lips tenderly. Her lips soft at first against his but the growing flame that was burning inside of her was starting to spread as she started to press her lips to his a little bit more.

Drake knew that he should stop her but knowing that she is the one that started the kiss this time he knew that it was what she was wanting, something that she wanted to do and knowing how he was feeling inside he wasn’t going to let this moment pass and as he was kissing her gently back he reached over placing the coffee cup back on the nightstand starting to wrap his arms around her completely. His mind was racing and his body shuddered feeling her so close to him again. He started to lean into her kissing her back with a hunger that he never knew that he would have for someone let alone someone like her. She awoke something in him that he thought that he would never have, something that he thought he would never feel and a part of him wanted to keep that but then a part of him was terrified, but knowing that he didn’t want to give it up just yet, knowing that there was still a chance that she could pick him through all this. Though as he was holding her and she was holding him their passion continued to rise and he couldn’t take it anymore he started to turn her in his lap so she was straddling his waist facing him “What are you doing to me Morgan? Every time I think that I can let you go to be happy, you just pull me back in” he said in between kissing her lips that felt as soft as a rose petal. “I could ask the same thing about you, you know that right?” she asked as she started to smile against his lips starting to feel the way that her body was responding as she realizes that she is just in her robe, a shirt and her panties, realizing that she never finished getting ready after getting their coffee and feeling just how little is between her and him at the moment is causing her body to shiver and her mind to wonder knowing that she has never been this close with, well anyone. Knowing inside that she has never been completely intimate with a guy and knowing that no guy has ever had all of her, but this feeling that she was having she knew that if she kept it going, it could just happen with Drake. Something about him lit her body on fire and no matter what she did she couldn’t fight it.

As the time passed and they continued to sit there close together kissing and hands roaming both of them were startled when there was a loud knock on the door and Drake then groaned not just at his head pounding but also at the fact of being interrupted again “Will we ever be alone?” he asked starting to help her off him and as she looked to him sadly she then walked to the door opening it a little bit and behind it there stood Maxwell. “Rise and shine sleepy head we have to get you ready for the day, you will have to get your coffee and then relax and then go get your dress from the boutique, or find Hana she said that she had a dress that she doesn’t know if she would wear it so was wondering if you might” and as Maxwell looks to her and sees that she is just starring right to him he reached out and tapped her shoulder “Umm earth to Jade, you feeling alright?” she looked right to him “perfect just still a little tired, I got up already and got my coffee so I will go meet Hana soon, just want to well you know get in my shower and relax a little bit” she stated starting to smile a little bit though her mind was just completely not even thinking about the ball but to how she was going to keep Drake hidden if Maxwell were to barge in. “Sounds good and Jade, I was wondering if I could talk to you soon about something that I have been dealing with, and I feel like you could really help me out” he said starting to smile to her though starting to take a step forward and she immediately stopped him “Alright we can do that soon but just uh let me finish my shower and I will text you okay?” she said giving him her smile that she gives when she is happy though inside she was getting nervous that maybe it was starting to show that she was not feeling right/happy here and as Maxwell smiled to her she shut the door slowly then leaning back against it breathing a sigh of relief. “Well that sure was close,” Drake stated starting to walk over to her “now…do you really have to leave so soon” he said starting to wrap his arms around her a little bit hugging her to him “Cause you know we could just lay here and talk about how much we hate going to balls” and as she chuckled playfully hitting his shoulder she slipped from his grasp “you know that I have to go to Hana if I don’t she will just come to find me if I am not there soon” Jade stated as she started to walk back to the bed starting to sit on the edge “Yeah I know I just, I would like to just have a moment where we can be alone, where we can talk….or kiss I mean whatever happens first” Drake smirked starting to sit next to her as she leaned back onto the bed looking up to the canopy above and he did the same “What am I doing here Drake?” she asked as she looked to him and as he looked to her he answered “you want to find your happy ending” and as he said that Jade just looked to him and looked back to the ceiling wondering if she really was going to find it or if she would end up walking away from it all.

After a little bit more time of getting motivated Drake left her to get ready to head to see Hana and as she finished up and started to head out she put her bed together and as she leaned to her pillow she could still smell his cologne on the pillow as she smiled a little bit but then started to head out down the hall and to the 4th door knowing that it was Hana’s door but before she could even knock the door opened and out came Maxwell “Oh hey Jade, you uh I bet you are finally here to see Hana huh well she is..uh right inside” and as he starts to step out Jade could see that he looks flustered and as he turns his head to look back in the room she could see the pink lipstick on his neck and collar bone “Hey Maxwell, pink really isn’t your color” as she then hinted to her neck to give him the hint “Shit, Hana is in there just….play it cool okay” he said as he started to head down the hall heading back to his room. “Hana…Hana are you in here?” she yelled into the room shutting the door behind her and soon from around the corner Hana came running “Hey Jade! I am so glad that you are here; we have so much to talk about and so much to decide! Come on back here” she said excitedly and as she walked Jade to the back room she could see that there was a little bruise forming on the side of her neck that Hana was obviously trying to hide. As Hana pulled Jade in a little bit more to look at the dresses Jade stopped her right there “Hana, don’t hide it…I know about you and Maxwell” she stated smiling to her friend. “You…you do?” Hana asked as she looked down to the floor her face turning to a pink shade which highlighted her cheeks perfectly. “It’s pretty obvious, I have seen you two and how you act, I saw you and him down the hall last night, well this morning and it’s pretty obvious that you are trying to hide the hickey that is on your neck as he was also trying to hide the pink lipstick that was on his neck” she stated giving a little laugh and bringing her friend to her “you have not to worry, I am not going to tell anyone I am just happy for you that you have found someone, even if it is not the guy that you were here for.” Jade stated hugging Hana a little bit closer to her feeling so happy for her inside. “You should be the one to talk, you have two guys that are pinning over you Jade, I mean I already knew that there was no way that Liam was going to pick me over you, or even Olivia, but I mean you have Drake too, he would do anything for you, and that says something” she said starting to hug Jade back as they stood there. Jade took in the words that Hana was saying as she knew that it was true though soon she shook her head and started to let go of Hana. “Well let’s get ready, the sooner we get done with this ball the sooner that we can get out from under Olivia’s reign” she laughed starting to look over the dresses getting a laugh from Hana.

After some time later the ladies were finally ready and as Jade put her last heel on her foot she then stood and looked to Hana “So, what do you think?” and as she stood up and gave a little turn, the sleek silver dress that hugged her curves right to a tee, the silver heels matching her dress and even the faux fur that was draped over her arms was just the final touch, as her hair was curled to perfection and not even a hint of make up on her skin, just a hint of peach lip gloss “Wow, if I was a guy, or lesbian I would be hitting on you every chance that I got Jade…you look stunning” she said smiling to her giving her a thumbs up. “You do know that Liam and Drake are not going to be able to take their eyes off you right?” she asked as Jade laughed “Yeah well you are going to have the eyes of Maxwell Beaumont glued to you tonight, so I think I will be the one to survive the night, but your dress might not” she laughed has Hana blushed again. Jade looked to her as she said “Hana, there, there is something that I did want to talk to you about and I know I can trust you not to say anything.” She started as she looked to Hana who agreed with her “I have thought about leaving, with Drake….I …I know I shouldn’t cause I do care about Liam but I ….well you know that I told you about the history that Drake and I have, I just sometimes don’t feel like I belong here” and as she looked down Hana put her hand on her friends shoulder “Jade, you have to do what your heart tells you. I know you have love for Liam but, maybe he isn’t your happily ever after. The only way that you are going to know is toughing it out until the end and seeing if something grows, if it doesn’t then you can’t feel bad for following your heart. You know that Liam would understand, I mean I know that he can’t just take the time to see and be with you and that he has to make it a point to be with all the ladies, but maybe this is a good sign so you can really see if this is what you want. I believe that everything that is happening is happening for a reason. You just have to trust in your heart and it will show you the right way” and as she smiled to her friend she knew that she was right and soon they were both walking out of the room starting to head to the ball together.

Once they entered the room where the ball was being held it was as if the music stopped and people looked up to them two as they walked in, Maxwell immediately went to Hana’s side as he smiled to her “You look amazing…well I mean you both do of course” and as he looked to Jade she just shook her head “It’s okay Maxwell I know what you meant” and she smiled to him as they all started to walk in as Maxwell informed them that he would be seated at the front of the table, but sadly Hana and Jade would be at the “Table for the exiled” as Drake called it and as Maxwell walked them to the table and got them situated Jade could feel Drake’s eyes on her and as they sat there waiting to be served as Hana was starving Drake leaned in to Jade “I have to say that you look amazing, seriously though that dress wouldn’t last a moment on if I had my way of how tonight would be going” he said as his whisper was warm to her skin as her body shivered hearing his words. Though as the time went on and they were still not served Drake complained of a sad story with no whiskey even and Jade had tried for 30 minutes to get the waiter to come over. Though as it failed over and over she soon started to give up and they decided that they would just talk and enjoy the company while they waited. Though as they sat there soon Jade felt Drake’s hand on her leg starting to stroke it gently and as he did this she reached down placing her hand on his holding his hand there as she looked at him and smiled. Knowing that she trusted him with everything she knew that he would never hurt her she started to think about how this night could be worse, she could be having to deal with Olivia harassing her or dealing with the stuck up Madeleine but knowing that being here at the exiled table she actually felt at home. Finally as the food finally did come to them it was ice cold and though they didn’t want to eat it they all forced down a little bit of it just to get something in their stomachs. After eating and sitting for a little bit more Drake mentioned that there was an old wine cellar that he found as he was walking around a little bit and invited Jade to join him there that night. She told him that she would think about it and gave him a wink. Though as she smiled to him, and felt her smile actually warm, they were both distracted as Olivia was at the front of the room and began her speech.

“Welcome everyone I am so pleased that you could be here with us tonight. I want to thank Prince Liam especially for being here with us and seeing what we still have to offer here in Lythikos. Now I know that my family is known for their many victories in battles but I have to say that the biggest battle was won when I became dear friends with our Prince. He helped me in a way that no one would ever understand and so with this I dedicate the first dance, our famous Waltz to our Prince, and my dear friend, Liam. Thank you Liam for everything” and as she smiled to him he calmly smiled and said “Thank you Olivia for your kind words and I do appreciate the invite as Lythikos has always been a very welcoming host” and as he smiled to her she signaled that all should get up and dance and as he looked to Jade giving her a smile he felt Olivia’s hand on his shoulder as he stood up and asked her to dance. Jade looked to him and smiled nodding her head knowing that she would have to wait her turn and as she started to think about getting up to leave she felt a hand on her shoulder and seeing Maxwell standing there “May I have this dance, Lady Jade” he said smiling nodding over to where Olivia and Liam were dancing and as she looked to Drake he smiled and shooed her off letting her know that he would man the table, she stood up and started to head to the dance floor with Maxwell and the moment that they were out there Maxwell brought her close “How are you holding up?” he asked her as they danced around the floor “Oh, you know just waiting silently in the wing for my next chance to talk to Liam and see if this is something that I am really cut out for” and as she laughed a little bit Maxwell laughed too “Don’t worry Jade the answer you seek with come out sooner or later I can almost guarantee, and who knows you just might end up Princess Jade Morgan” and as he looked to her he smiled and she did too though inside her heart was racing, more of a scared racing….could she be a princess, could she help Liam rule? All of these questions started to swarm around in her mind as she started to feel dizzy, but soon she snapped out of it and felt her body leaving Maxwell and right into Liam’s arms as the partner switch in the dance happened.

“Well fancy meeting you here” Liam said snapping her out of her own thoughts, “ Yeah who would have thought you would be at a fancy dance, you know being the Prince and all” she laughed looking up to him seeing his eyes just twinkle as they looked right to her. As they danced Liam held her close “You do look amazing I do have to tell you, I almost came right to you when you got here to take you away from the room so no one else could see your beauty but me” and as she heard him talking like that right in her ear she could feel the heat radiating to her cheeks “Well thank you but I think that might have caused a little bit of confusion don’t you think” and as she giggled a little bit to his laugh he stated “Yeah I suppose that you are right” and as the music started to slow down a little bit more to a slow song Liam started to run his hand up and down her back starting to hold her closer to him and as she held him she could feel the way that his arms felt good around her, that the safety that she likes to feel with people was there with Liam and as she started to think about what this was meaning she rested her head on his shoulder as he was leaning to her a little bit to allow her to move comfortably. “You know, I want you to know that you are special to me and you mean a lot to me. I hate that I can’t show you all the time just how much you do mean to me” and as he spoke she could feel the sincere way that his voice rang in her ears, he was telling the truth and she could tell in the tone of his voice and he continued “I feel bad when I can’t sneak away to see you and that I keep you guessing all the time on how I feel for you. I just want you to know that even though I can’t show it, it doesn’t mean that it’s not true” and as he started to look at her she smiled to him and he leaned in again to her resting his head against hers and as she looked behind Liam she saw Drake sitting there looking right at her smiling, and immediately her heart starting to ache and her mind asked ‘What the hell am I going to do?’. As the song ended and yet another partner switch took place she turned away from Liam’s grasp as she saw Olivia again claim her take on Liam and as Jade turned she turned right into Drake’s arms feeling his strong, safe arms around her again.

“Well, well, well we meet again on the dance floor huh?” he said as he started to sway to the music with her in the tempo that he taught her earlier and as she smiled to him he could tell that something was on her mind “Penny for your thoughts Morgan” and as she looked to him she smiled and said “Well Liam apologized for not showing me enough that he does care about me and that he feels bad that he hasn’t been able to see me. I mean there is nothing really to say about it I just…” and as she was talking she immediately stopped mid-sentence as she caught sight of Maxwell looking out to the dance floor in shock and as Drake looked to her he saw the way that she was looking confused and as he turned them both just in time, they both saw what Maxwell was seeing; Olivia locking lips right in front of everyone with Liam, kissing him deeply and not giving a care in the world. Drake saw the frozen look on Jade’s face as he brought her closer to him trying to hold her calmly to not show any emotion “Don’t let it get to you. Don’t let it show that it might bother you, you really don’t need that spotlight right now” and as he was holding her she couldn’t help but feel like she had been punched in the gut, just after what Liam had told her and after she started to think that maybe she just could hold on to hope a little bit longer, it felt like it was draining from her completely “I…I am okay…really I am” and as she was saying this she stopped the tears from falling as he held her close and she was holding him close as well, her fingers digging in to him as if begging him silently to not let her go and he didn’t not even an inch.

After a moment Liam took a step back and looked to the room giving an apologetic nod to those that made eye contact with him and just as Jade opened her eyes as she was looking over Drakes shoulder their eyes met and she saw the ‘I am Sorry’ look in his eyes and she nodded though it was pretty obvious to the shivers in her body that she was not okay. She knew coming into this would be a life changer, and she knew that there was going to be other girls, what she wasn’t expecting was to feel that pain inside seeing another girl kiss Liam so bluntly like that. Though as she looked up again she saw Liam leading Olivia out to a side balcony and could just for a moment see that he did not look happy as they started to talk, but soon not seeing them as they walked further out of view. Though as Drake finally started to loosen his grip on Jade he looked to her and started to brush a strand of hair out of her face he asked her if she was alright and she quickly answered “Yeah I am fine, going to have to get used to it right” and Drake looked at her and said “No not really, what Olivia did right then and there was actually rather cold….she knows that the ladies are not to make a move on Liam and she just did cause she thinks that she has it in the bag. So no it is not something that you should get used to seeing” and he started to bring her to him a little bit more starting to hug her and as he felt her shoulders shudder a little bit he then offered to take her back to her room and as she went to answer she could see Liam start to head back in the room again looking rather angry and heading out right away. “You know what I think that I would like to go back to my room for a little bit if that is alright, would you walk with me” and as she looked to him he nodded “Of course you don’t have to ask” he smiled to her starting to turn her gently and walking her back out of the room and along the way she ended up telling Hana that she is going to lay down for a little bit and that she would talk to her later.

A few moments later Drake finally walked her right to her door, “Do you want me to go?” he asked starting to open her door for her and walking her inside. Jade walked in her head down and as she looked up to him there were tears in her eyes, “You know…I can’t do this….I really can’t Drake” and as she spoke a few tears fell as she started to look down to the ground. Drake shut and locked the door walking right to her and starting to hold her in his arms comforting her as she cried in his arms “Morgan I know it’s hard but I know that you are strong, you can do this…unless you are wanting to turn your back 100% on the thought about being with Liam, and getting the chance to be Princess or someday Queen, you already know what I offered before, that I would get you out of here, cause you know how much I care about you and how much I don’t want to see you hurt, like Savannah” and as he held her he felt her arms starting to wrap around him more and she let the tears fall even more “It’s not that I don’t care for Liam I do and I know that you have pushed me away from you only to bring me back in but I don’t want to hurt him or you….it wouldn’t be fair to either one of you” and as she looked up at him he could see the pain and the hurt that was written all over her eyes and he reached out to her stroking her cheek “Morgan you can’t hurt me, I told you that I will always care about you and be there for you no matter what you chose, but if you really want to take the chance to see if something is going to work, you can’t let what happened with Olivia push you back, cause if she sees that you are showing less interest than she has already won, you can’t let her have that power over you sweetie” and as he talked to her he was just gently running his fingers up and down her back as his other hand brushed away a tear that fell again from her eyes “You’re right I can’t let it get to me, but I know that it just made one thing more clear” and as she looked to him she didn’t even let it register as he asked “What is that?” she leaned up pressing her lips to his in a deep passionate kiss. The kind of kiss that shoots straight through to the core and the same lips that have teased hers and brought her passion, was kissing hers back in anticipation. The kiss deepened as Drake brought her close to him and started to turn her to the wall pressing her back into it. Not even giving it a second thought as he reached down and placed his hands on the back of her thighs lifting her up against the door and forcing her dress to slide up allowing her legs to wrap around his waist.

The heat, the passion, the desire, that burning fire was getting to him the more that he felt her body melting to him and the way that she could feel his hard body pressing to her she couldn’t hold back…this is what she wanted to feel; this passion awake inside of her mind, her heart and her body. Soon he had pulled her away from the wall starting to walk over to the bed feeling her body just pressing to his as if she was scared to let go and as soon as the bed was right there below her back he started to set he down on the bed leaning her back to lay down he leaned in to her starting to kiss her lips, her jaw line, her neck and following the V of the dress starting to feel her chest heaving up and down as his lips travelled farther down and he thought for a moment that he could actually hear her heart racing between the gasps and breathing. Though as he got to just over her belly button over the silk material of her dress he looked up at her and though her tears had stopped and she was breathing heavily he knew that her mind was not made up, that he had not yet heard the words that he was wanting to hear so bad; that she wanted to leave and for him to take her away. Knowing how badly that he wanted to continue he knew that he couldn’t confuse her even more not right now when she was so on edge with Liam. Kissing her stomach over the material again he started to head up her body kissing her lips again before resting his forehead to hers. “You have no idea how bad I want you right now, but I can’t go on knowing that there is still a chance for you and Liam. I know that you have not made up your mind yet, so I am not going to play with your heart. I don’t want you to do something that you are going to possibly regret later.” As he spoke he looked her right in the eyes and for a moment she thought that this could be the last chance that she could leave, not knowing how much longer Drake was going to give her to choose, but knowing that he did tell her that he would wait, and knowing that she needed to really talk to Liam she looked to Drake “I….I am sorry I shouldn’t have done that huh?” she said starting to feel her heart beating and her eyes feeling heavy “Don’t you dare think that…I just know that if I didn’t stop it I knew that it could have led to something more and I don’t want you to act out of being hurt, I don’t want to cause you to think twice about what happens between us. I am not upset or anything and I hope you are not with me, but I just know that if and when that does happen…I want to know it’s because you know you want to be with me.” He said as he leaned in kissing her lips just tenderly and as he started to raise himself up and off her he started to slide her dress back down and starting to get her shawl off her arms “Come here” and as he said that she started to get closer to him as he started to lay himself with her down on the bed and she curled into his side cuddling up next to him, her head on his shoulder and his arm around her stroking her arm and back. Her hand gently tracing over his chest and as she lay there she realized just how much Drake did care and though he could have gone further he respected her enough not to do more. She looked up to him catching his eyes, “Thank you Drake again…I…I honestly don’t know what I would be doing right now if you were not here” and as she looked to him he smiled to her “No need to thank me…I am here for you and my best friend…that’s it no one else” and as he smiled to her he saw her eyes looking heavy. “Why not rest for a little bit” and she didn’t even get to responding before her eyes closed gently not letting go of him at all.

What seemed like only a few moments passing Jade opened her eyes expecting to see Drake still laying there but instead looked around and seen that she was now under the covers and as she looked to where Drake was last laying there was a note. She quickly sat up reading it to herself ‘Morgan, you fell asleep pretty quickly, and that is alright you needed the rest. I left to try and go to talk to Liam but will more than likely end up at the side bar in the party room with me, myself and I or with a certain Maxwell. If you feel up to it and would like to join me, I wouldn’t mind it. Hope that you slept well. PS You’re really precious and innocent looking when you are sleeping ;) – Walker’ Jade couldn’t help but smile to his letter and she knew that she should go to him and thank him yet again for watching over and out for her and as she changed quickly to a pair of blue jean shorts and a hoodie she started to head out to the bar though just as she got there and was about to head in she felt a soft tap on her shoulder. She turned and came face to face with Liam “Oh hey, what are you doing down here?” she asked starting to look at him and he answered with that he was looking for her, that he knew that she had seen what happened with Olivia and was hoping to extend an invite to his suite so that they could talk and have some time in private. Though as Jade went to go answer Penelope came from around the corner asking Liam if she could speak to him for a moment. He agreed and then leaned to Jade “Come later if you wish, otherwise I will see you as soon as I can” he whispered to her before kissing her cheek and as he left she looked then back to the bar and caught eyes with Drake who stood up and walked towards a side opening in the bar and heading down a set of stairs that was hidden.
As she stood there she thought about the words from Liam and how sincere he was in asking to have some time with her. To have that time to where they could talk and really just be together alone for some time, and then thought about the invite from Drake to the wine cellar, knowing that still to this day he had yet to leave her side, no matter what was going on in her mind. Soon she wondered if maybe she should just head back to the room and get some rest, knowing that right away in the morning a certain Beaumont would be knocking on her door to wake her up. Though as she started to turn she closed her eyes for a moment and saw in her mind both men standing there looking at her and soon she looked to one of them and saw his smile in her mind and she knew where she wanted to go, knew where she should go….and her legs followed her heart as she started down the hall heading to her destination….to be continued.
