I was lying on my bed when I heard footsteps coming from the back yard outside of my window. I got up to see what it was. I opened my patio door and saw a girl. The girl that saved me... Twice...
"Hi" She said.
"Hi yourself. What are you doing here and how did you know where I live?"
"I found you using your sexual chi."
"I'm gonna say that's a little stalkerish. But I'll admit, it's a little cool." We looked at each other for a few seconds. "Wanna come in?"
She looked around. "What do I get if I do?"
"Your jacket."
She smirked. "Alright."
"Come through the back."
I slid down the rail and went to the back door. She was waiting for me. "Come on in."
We got to my room. "Make yourself at home." I went into the closet and started looking for her jacket. It was underneath all my clothes.
"Here ya go. Sorry for the blood. I'm sure it will come out."
She took it with a smile. "Thanks, don't worry, I usually get blood on it, but I do have a question." She paused. "I was wondering, I've tasted Vlines before why are you so tasty." As she leans in closer.
I back up a little. "Um that's a weird question. I don't know? Thank you?"
"Are you sure? It is distinctly different." She said while moving forward.
"I honestly have no clue."
"Open your mouth."
"You're kidding right?"
"No I'm not."
I contemplate for a minute. "Alright fine." I slowly opened my mouth.
She backed away and laughed. "I can't believe you actually did that! I was kidding haha."
A burst of anger came over me. "Get out!"
" Awww your no fun. I was just kidding. I'm sorry if that upset you."
I took a deep breathe. "Sorry. I've just had a rough week."
"Understood, I mean you did get punched in the face on your first day of school."
I sat down. "It was horrible!" I put my head in my hands. "I always try and help and it turns on me."
She sat next to me. "Hey don't worry. I mean, it can't get worse than you being half naked in front of the entire school haha."
I lifted my head up and pushed her playfully. "Jerk haha" She tackled me down and was on top of me and held my hands down. We looked into each others eyes. She leaned closer and closer. She smiled and went in for the kiss.
'BANG!'
We freaked out and jumped up. "What the hell was that?" She said while getting off of my bed.
I jumped up. "I don't know. Sounded like it came from the front."
We ran out of my room and down the stairs. I opened the door and ran outside. I couldn't believe what I saw. A Crocotta standing over a bloody, dismembered body... A humans body... The Crocotta went back into it's human form. It was the school girl that helped me on the first day of school.
"You dumb bitch do you have any idea what you just did!" She shouted.
The school girl turned and looked at us. She walked slowly towards us and stopped about five feet away. "Well, Tori, I got angry. You should know all about that huh?
"I'm going to rip you in half!"
"Wait what is she talking about?" I asked.
"Something that is not going to be discussed right now." She looked at Brenda. Her eyes flashing yellow as she lunged at her. She moved quicker than she seemed she could and grabbed Brenda by her midsection. Then her wings extended. She went air born and I noticed that Brenda was turning into her natural form. I saw Brenda bite into Tori's shoulder and claw her back. Blood came flying onto my face. Tori let out a yell and quickly spiraled back towards the ground and they were fighting mid air to see who would hit the ground first. It ended up Brenda using tori to break her fall. I knew that she was in trouble.
I saw that Brenda was about to Pierce her claws into Tori. I ran towards them and took the blow. Her claws went through my chest and she pushed me out of the way. Brenda climbed off Tori and was prowling out of the crater that she created. Tori wrapped her tail around Brendas leg and pulled her back towards her. Then Tori pounced on Brenda's back and started wresting trying to get a grip on her lower and upper jaws.
She got the grip and pulled with all her might. Her lower jaw was ripped apart and she rolled oout from under Tori. Tori didn't give her a chance and lundged at her with her claws out and went threw her heart. She sttod up as she watched Brenda transform back into her human for and smirked as she took her last breathe.
I walked towards Tori. She seemed out of breathe but very happy with herself. I let her have her moment. I looked at my chest and noticed the claw marks were there but healed up. "Shit... There's one life." I walked over to the dismembered human. I was shocked. "This isn't good." Tori walked over towards me. She saw my ripped shirt and chest.
"What happened to you?"
"It doesn't matter now."
Tori looked at the body as well. "Fuck... Is that who I think it is?"
"Yup... It's Alex. The daughter of William, the man who created the treaty. Not only is the treaty broken, you killed someone of our kind..."
"Well... We're fucked."
"We cant hide Alex and Brenda forever, but we could stall..."
I flinched at the sight of headlights coming our way. Tori took my hand and we ran into my house looking out of the window. The car stopped at the sight of the body in the middle of the road. He got out of the car and panicked when he saw who it was. He took out his phone and made a call. "Listen in on what hes saying!"
I listened closely. "Ummm sir... We have a problem."
"What's he saying?" Tori asked
"Quite!" I said with a hushed tone.
"I don't know how to say this, but I found the body of your daughter. I'm sorry sir. Understood sir." He hung up the phone and took the body to his car. Before he got in, he noticed Brenda. He ran towards her, picked her up and put her in the car too. He sped away.
I looked at Tori. "Well. He works for William and we have a big problem on our hands."
"What happens now?"
"We wait it out. See what happens next."
She looked at me and nodded. "I actually agree with you."
I start walking up to my room. I hear her behind me.
I sat on my bed while she shut the door. "Sooooo, what was that about and how did she know your name?"
"I knew her mom a few hundred years back and me and her didnt exactly... Get along..."
"Theres nothing else? I feel like I deserve to know considering what just happened out there."
"Valid point. It started when Brenda's mom found me stealing from a store. She took me in after that. Brenda and I became sort of like sisters for awhile. One night a human had broken into our home my instinct was to automatically kill the human. I was young and didn't know any better. That and I could't control my powers very well.
As you saw before I have a bit of a temper. I hated that the human thought of himself so big that he could just walk right into our home. I was going to attack him but Brendas mom stopped me and I clawed her eye out. Ever since then Brenda hated me. It didnt help that next time I saw them, I had sex with her mother."
I looked at her shocked. "You have been alive for awile. I'm sorry that that happened to you." I got up and gave her a hug. "I think she deserved it..." I let go and lied down on the bed. I made a motion for her to join. She lied next to me with a good distance between us. I turned off the light. A few minutes passed. "You're old" I chuckled.
She hit my arm and giggled. "What's your story?"
I took a deep breathe. "There isn't really a story. I'm a Vline with a weird ass family haha. I transform from cat to human. My transformations are unpredictable though. I can be naked or fully clothed or anywhere inbetween really." My dads been traing me all my life. I havent really caught onto the fighting part, but I'm one little sneaky pussy." I laughed. "And I'm nowhere near as old as you are."
"What happened to your chest outside?"
"Well I saw that Brenda was going to hurt you even more. Don't get me wrong, I know you can handle yoursef... But something came over me and I ran towards her. She got me instead of you. You didn't notice because of all of the dust. But I'm good now. You kicked some serious ass though. How are your wounds?"
"They sting, but I'll live. Thanks for asking."
"Look whatever happens, I got your back."
she laughed a little. "I'm sure you do kitty, I'm sure you do. Good night."
"Night."
