20.- NEKOMIMI (CAT´S EARS)

This classification shows us not Cat Girls, but ordinary girls who for one reason or another were given cat ears (nekomimi).
This attachment is not for clothing, but for biological reasons (surgical operation), either to improve their combat skills or to correct hearing problems.
The best example is found in Kizna from "Candidate for Goddess", where due to an accident Kizna loses her hearing, and because of this she gets cat ears, that's why in the whole series you don't see "other cat girls".
They consider themselves false cat girls, because their TRUE NATURE is human, they simply added cat ears, without modifying their human genes for this.

21.- KEMONOMIMI (CAT CHARACTERISTICS)

A particularly interesting case arises here, where "cat girls" lose their only two feline characteristics when they lose their virginity, i.e. their tails and cat ears fall off.
The only example is given with the characters of the anime "Loveless".
I must point out that, unlike all the previous classifications and those I will mention later, these kemonomimi' are the only ones of their kind.
I did not see this classification repeated in any other work of Anime, Manga or video game, nor did I see that this classification was found in any work from the West, therefore only in the Manga and Anime of "Loveless" I could find these supposed cat girls.
They are considered fake cat girls, because when they lose their virginity they get their tails and ears falling off.

22.- BIODROID (BIOLOGIC ANDROID)
.
In this case, it is the sum of robotic science and biology, i.e. the creation not of a robot but of a biodroid.
In this classification, parts of a cat are placed inside a cybernetic body (something like Robocop).
When doing this, the biodroid changes from its original personality (ordinary cat) to acquire a human personality, although in certain occasions it can act with its previous personality (when seeing a mouse it chases it as if it were a cat).
These biodroids have the outward appearance of a human or, on the contrary, the cybernetic body can have cat ears and tails.
The best example is seen with the protagonist of the series "The invincible Nuku-Nuku", in which the brain of a cat is put into a cybernetic body.
They are considered false cat girls, because their TRUE NATURE is that of cats, they simply place parts of it inside the cybernetic body of an android.

23.- ANDROID
.
In this case, it is all about the absence of the biological factor, only the robotic factor is present, although we must emphasize that this does not imply a robotic behavior, devoid of emotions.
The androids of this particular classification have human emotions and even souls, so to all intents and purposes they are alive.
Generally this is because the android suffered a flaw or breakage which made it become aware of itself at a very high level, achieving the ability to have abstract thoughts and complex reasoning, in addition to experiencing strong human emotions such as love or sadness.
These androids have cat tails and ears (Koboshi from "Let's Meow Meow Meow"), or only cat ears having no other feline characteristic (Ana Puma and Uni Puma from "Dominion Tank Police").
They are considered false cat girls, because their TRUE NATURE is ANDROIDS, which at some point came to life.

24.- HUMANOID BIG CAT (JAPAN)
.
These are gig felines that have humanoid characteristics, that is, they walk bipedally and their limbs and torso are those of a human.
Although they resemble the Wildcats of both Japan and the West, they differ in that they are not descended from wildcats, or from ordinary cats, but from big cats.
The other difference is that they hardly look like females in this classification, they are usually males.
The only exception to this is the female protagonist of the game "Breath of Fire 2", Katt (Rinpoo Chuan, in Japan), who seems to belong to the breed of the "Cat Girls Big Cats", however she has anthropomorphic feet, that is, they resemble the legs of a feline.
This classification includes several species of large cats such as tigers, panthers, lynxes, etc. which makes these creatures come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
The best example is the Anime "Thunder Jet".
They are considered false Cat Boys because their TRUE NATURE is of big cats, they simply have HUMANOID CHARACTERISTICS.

Like their cousins in Japan, they are big felines with humanoid characteristics.
In fact, they are identical to the "Humanoid Big Cat (Japan)", with the only difference that they are made up entirely of panthers, tigers and to a lesser extent lions, without taking into account other breeds of big cats, which makes the variety found with their Japanese cousins disappear.
The only similarity with their Japanese counterparts is that they look almost like no females in this classification, usually males.
The best example is given with the computer games (an excellent cast of millions) and "Wing Commander" film.
They are considered false cat boys because their TRUE NATURE is of panthers, tigers and lions, they simply have HUMANOID CHARACTERISTICS.

26.- HUMAN BIG CAT (WEST)

They don't look like their cousins in the West or Japan, as they don't have their whole bodies and faces covered in hair.
Unlike their Western cousins, they are descended from a great variety of big cats (like their Japanese cousins), this makes a great variety of these creatures exist in terms of size, colors and feline shapes.
However, this variety is not as accentuated as in Japan, as the females of this classification (Human Big Cat - West) retain their human faces without having ears or cat tails, unlike the two "Humanoid big cats" described above.
The best example is given with Cheetara from the series "Thundercats" (this series is "hybrid", that is, with Western producers, directors and scriptwriters, but with Asian cartoonists, which gives a mix of Western and Anime animation styles).

First of all, in several Animes, Mangas and computer and console games from Japan, you see girls wearing cat girl dresses or close to them.
The existing sub-classification here is briefly quoted below:

―Girls in fake cat girl costume.- the costume they wear may vary depending on the type of fake cat girl classification they wish to wear.
―Girls who wear cat attachments.- they don't wear any costumes, they simply wear hats or hair clips that make them think they have cat ears. The best example is given with Ama Shigure from the "Shuffle" series.
―Girls with catlike avatars.- none of the above are girls who enter a virtual world and use an "avatar" with feline characteristics. The best example is given with the "Hack/Roots" series.
―Non-human girls dressed as real/false cat girls.- these are females of other races, whose costumes they wear may vary depending on the type of classification of cat girls they wish to wear. The best example is the protagonist of the Anime "Moon Phase", who is a princess of the vampire race.
―Girls in disguise with more powers.- any of the above cases, with the difference that the girl has powers that are related to cats, for example, the protagonist of the anime hentai "Litle Monica Monogatari", who understands the language of cats.

Secondly, there are real-life "Cosplay" events in both the West and Japan, i.e. places where Anime fans, Mangas or various Japanese games, dress up as if they were cat girls.

These are women who disguise themselves only as false cat girls, in this case I will mention the following sub-classifications:
―In some western cartoons, girls dress up as fake cat girls, in this particular case as ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATURES (cat face, moustaches, etc.).
―In graphic novels, some women dress as the previous sub-classification, e.g. Catwoman.
―In events of varied nature in the real world, women disguise themselves as ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATURES (cat face, moustaches, etc.).
―There is a fourth variation in this classification, which they call "Furry", in which women and men (the latter are not in the three previous sub-classifications) dress as if they were giant stuffed animals of either cat or big cat origin.
They are considered false cat girls FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

29.- COMEGATO (JAPAN AND WEST)

These are both female and male characters of Anime and Manga, who do not have a single feline gene, nor are they dressed as some kind of real or fake cat girl, they are simply given certain feline characteristics to highlight their emotions that can vary from aggressive to tender.
The following sub-classifications are presented:
―They have a face like that of a "nekomusume", that is to say a face almost like that of a cat that does not arouse suspicion, the best example is found with Mariah from "Beyblade".
―Cat's eyes, so the eyes of the characters are elongated, that is to say, the pupils and iris have it like those of a cat. These cat eyes are very notorious, unlike the other cat girls (real and fake) described above, the best example is given with the protagonist of the series "Black Cat".
―Girls who have cat hairstyles - they don't wear any disguise, they simply have a hairstyle that makes them think they have cat ears. The best example is given in the "Angel Kurumi" series.

We must remember that this classification is not only found in Japan, but also in the West, but the purpose of its very disguised feline characteristics is not to highlight emotions as in its Japanese counterparts, but simply as buffoons (the western example is found in the character Comegatos of "Condorito").
They are considered false cat girls and boys (this classification has women and men equally) because THEIR TRUE NATURE is human, simply their faces have very slight cat-like features to highlight their emotions.

In both Anime and Manga, male and female characters have feline attitudes, such as when certain characters caress their heads they love it and move like cats, or when they are caught doing something bad they look like cats or have a cat-like smile when they plan something fun.
This does not make such characters cat girls or cat boys, since this "transformation" only lasts seconds and they are not considered cat girls of any classification BY OBVIOUS REASONS.
