Mrs. Barclay wouldn’t let them. Though she was heavily pregnant, she fended them off with a frying pan. When she came by the door and heard her mother shouting at them to get out of the house, Angel quickly ran to Aunt Cathy’s house for help. Sometimes, they would drive out of town to someplace nice where they could just be the two of them.
