Tall at six feet and lanky, Adrian is an Asian who looks far older than everyone in his group of friends despite being the youngest. He has black hair and pale brown skin. Second smartest among his peers, he expects everyone to be as smart as him and treats them as such but comes off as rather condescending. He is an avid reader and reads everything from novels to biographies and science journals (thus his intimidating knowledge in almost everything).
He is a good judge of people’s personality; this trait has often helped him in his work.
He is fiercely loyal to his friends. However, he also loves to irritate them by dragging them to his work despite protests. He loves going to social events and getting drunk to the point where he blacks out. He becomes overly emotional when drunk and talks about his feelings to whoever is nearby. If no one is present, he will start sending messages to his friends. He is usually calm and doesn’t become angry easily. When he does become angry, he resorts to physical violence and lashes out at whoever or whatever it is that made him angry.
He loves to play games and is an enthusiastic gamer, frequently participating in gaming tournaments with his friends whenever he can.
He has a charming personality and frequently flirts with women when not working; he becomes dead serious when working. He avoids starting a relationship because of two serious heartbreaks in the past. He is, however, not a womanizer.

Adrian finished secondary school with his friends Peter, Antei and others. He then joined and completed his high-school form a different school along with Peter while the rest of his friends continued high-school at their previous school. When in high school, he started a relationship with a girl named Arlene that lasted for three years. He travelled for a year after high school before finally joining college in the United States (while in the US, his then long distance relationship with Arlene ended on a sour note). In college, he started a new relationship with another girl from his high school. They remained together for five years before the girl eventually broke up with him, resulting in a second heartbreak.
Relationships aside, in college he majored in physics, literature and economics. Immediately after that, he completed his Master’s degree in theoretical physics and economics while working as a librarian in the same college. He returned home and had decided to travel for another year before joining a PhD program but got involved in a murder case which he helped solve.
After that event, he changed his mind about getting a Doctorate and instead joined the police force in his country where he worked as a detective for four years. After establishing himself as a respected detective, he quit the force and became a private investigator. However, he still worked largely with the police force and only occasionally worked other cases brought to him by clients.
In his four years as a detective for the police and two years as a private investigator, he has helped solve many cases. He favours solving murders over other crimes tries to stay out of cases involving terrorists due to fear of his own safety and those of his family and friends.
While his job as a detective is his primary source of income, he has managed to earn quite a sum of money by investing in shares using his knowledge of economics. He lives alone in a house he co-owns with two of his friends, one of who designed it.

Adrian is part of a rather large joint family. He has one sister and several cousins, some of them twice as old and some studying in primary schools. He was initially looked down upon by his family members for joining the police instead of pursuing his studies further but his success in the field has reinstated his good status in the family.

He has a large circle of friends; a group of friends from school, a group from high school, a group from college, a group from work and others. Of them, he is most close with four friends from school and one he met due to his work. They are Peter (astronomer and novelist), Antei (architect who designed his house), Phil (a lawyer), Michael (a professional gamer) and Charlie (an ex-army personnel discharged from duty due to injury). Of these, he hangs out mostly with Peter and Antei while meets the others on a monthly basis at a local pub.

As mentioned above, he has a Master’s degree in economics and theoretical physics and a Bachelor’s degree in literature and physics. Beyond these, he holds a great deal of knowledge in psychology and human biology, subjects he studied outside of college on his own.
Aside from sports that require thinking such as chess and strategy computer games, Adrian only prefers basketball and badminton. He does not excel at any physical sport.
He has no musical skill aside from the ability to play a few chords on the guitar.
