My pen name is a combination of three names of great importance to me.
Rachel: My closest companion once I reached high school. We wrote a lot of collaborative stories together, which I have since begun to transcribe into story/novel format (albeit slowly). She and I developed mental disabilities around the same time, and tried our best to support each other. We still keep in contact on rare occasions, and probably never would have survived without each other to lean on.
Elizabeth: The name of my niece. I lost two babies myself, and found myself loving her as if she were my own. I do everything I can for that little girl, as she's since lost both her parents for varying reasons. I'm no longer allowed to see her since I don't have the custody rights, nor the capacity to take custody. It pains us both immensely.
Paige: My best friend in elementary school who lost her battle to cancer before entering high school. She was the one who encouraged me to follow my passion for writing, and joked I should use her name as a pen name.
