2 hours later...

He laughed and wrapped a blanket around both of us as we sat in the candlelight “I love you Alex. And Kylan I love you guys and only you guys, and I will never let you go” jakob whispered. I smiled and turned slightly kissing him again before he rolled his eyes and pinned me to the couch.
“Why do you always start stuff like this” he said, I laughed “because it’s fun” I said smirking, he blushed and kissed my neck along my ear, I wrapped my arms around his neck once more and kissed him.
The next day...

I turned in the ignition and peeled out of the driveway.
halfway there I was still panicking over the fact that I was late, I clutched the wheel, my knuckles going white as the stop light took forever to turn green. I groaned and noticed something crawling across the dashboard, I looked closer and flinched backwards as I noticed it was a spider.
The light turned green and I took my eyes off it as I pushed on the gas, I looked up at the road catching sight of a small boy that looked like Kylan and swerved, my breathing hitched and it went dark.
Jakob’s p.o.v.
I called again and again but Alex wouldn’t answer and I sighed “he’s probably at work, I should let him be” I said, I walked to the living room and Kylan was standing in front of the TV eyes wide with tears running down his face.

“Kylan...we need to go...now.” I said, he nodded and ran to the door forgetting about our coats we sprinted to the car and peeled off to the hospital.
“1!2!3!” The doctors sent another shot of electricity through Alex to bring up his heartbreak but it didn’t work, they continued and Kylan sobbed into my chest as I held him close.
“1!2!3! AGAIN” another shock. No response.
kylan gripped my shirt and I started crying.

I held my hand out to Kylan and he walked over tears dripping from his face, Alex coughed again and moved a trembling hand to his necklace before pulling it off and setting it into kylan’s fist.
I started sobbing knowing what was next “jakob...Kylan I love you...” he whispered, the monitor beeped just as he had lipped something. I stared as his body went limp and Kylan fell to his knees crying, I stood there petrified tears pooling from my eyes.
2 weeks later...
Jakob’s p.o.v.
I lifted another heavy box from Alex’s office and handed it to Kylan, he put it into the trunk and I noticed a stack of papers...freshly written papers. I picked them up and read the title “Don’t Tell Your Mother...” my eyes widened and Tears pooled from my eyes as I realized he had been writing a book about us...a biography...
