EPISODE THREE
*Daphne wakes up the next morning, then has a realization.*
D: *Thinking* Oh my gosh! It’s Christmas!
*She rushes downstairs to see that Sofia and Rolf are already downstairs and opening their presents.*
S: C’mon, Daph! Open your presents! Mum and Dad sent you some stuff, too!
R:*Opens a long, rectangular box*Wow! Mum and Dad got me a new broomstick! It’s a Firebolt 2001!
D: Lucky. Maybe now we’ll beat Gryffindor in a Quidditch game. I only have a Firebolt 2000.*spots a box similar to Rolf’s*Mum and Dad must’ve sent me a big present.*She unwraps it*Wow….we’re definitely going to win now!
*Rolf and Sofia look over and gawk at a new Firebolt 2001.*
R: You bet we are! Yes!!*He high-fives Daphne and Sofia.*
S: Why are you high-fiving me? I’m not on the team.
R: Why not?
D: He has a point.*Spots a letter tied to the broomstick* Oh, what’s this?
*She opens it and begins to read:
“Merry Christmas Daphne!
We have a surprise for you. You will get the surprise at dinner.
Love, Mum and Dad”
D: Hmmm...wonder what it could be…..
S: *Looks over* Ooh, a surprise! I like surprises. Do you?
D: I like good surprises
S: *yawning*Good m-m-morning.Merry Christmas!
D: Good morning, Scorp.Merry Christmas.
S: M-m-merry Christmas.
D: Ready to open your gifts?
S: Yeah. Why did you ask me that?
D:Mum and Dad said I had to.
S:*Completely ignoring Daphne as he opens his presents*Cool! Mum and Dad got a whole bunch of Bertie Botts! Want some?
R,D,and S: Nope,sorry.
S: Your loss.*He eats one*Ewwww!!!!! Vomit!!!!! *He spits it out into a nearby rubbish bin. *He gets up to get some water while Rolf, Daphne, and Sofia are laughing.*
*Meanwhile, in the nearby girls dormitory…*
A: *Wakes up* Wow, I barely slept last night. What about you, Maddie?
M: I slept pretty well. Why didn’t you sleep well, A?
A: Check your calendar, Mads.
M: So? What’s wrong-OMG!!!It’s Christmas!!!!!Wait….do you not like Christmas, Amanda?
A: I do like Christmas, I was just upset...
M: About what?
A: * She turns her head to face the window, and her tone becomes sadder and softer** Charlie. We had a fight yesterday. I haven’t apologized yet.
M: About what?
A: He noticed I was bleeding, so he asked what happened.
M: You were bleeding? Was it Longbottom? Did he use Sectumsempra?
A: No, I tried to jinx him and it backfired. He used it on Daphne though.
M: Sooo….it was Mi-Longbottom?
A: Wait, why did you almost call him Micheal?!
M: Well...please don’t be mad….
A: What?
M: We’re dating…..
A: What?!?! Why?!?!?
M: I don’t know…..I don’t like him really, but I’m scared to break up with him. I’m worried he’ll, like, curse me or something….
A: If he does, I’ll put him in his place!
M: You mean, the Hospital Wing?!! No! I won’t let you! You could get in serious trouble!
A: No, stupid, not physically.
M: But how else? Will you shove his head in a toilet or let Peeves deal with him?
A: Mads, that’s still physical. I mean tell him off. I wanted to ever since I noticed who he really was.
M: And when was that?
A: My second year… but I held off because I had suspected you two were together.
M: When did you suspect?
A: A few days after he asked you, duh.
M: Well, I only said yes about a month ago.
A: I saw your face when it happened. You had no idea he was so mean, and, let's face it, he is good looking.
M: Well, you are right there….I suppose I only said yes because I had wanted a boyfriend for ages, and, well, I don’t know, maybe or maybe not he had proven to be a good kisser.
A: Really, Mads?
M: Yes, really! Last time I checked, you hadn't been kissed by him or any other boy!
A: It’s not my fault that I’m not pretty like you!
M: Well, when we were at breakfast yesterday, I heard that Daphne Malfoy's brother liked you!
A: Really? H-he does?
M: Are you interested? He’s downstairs. I can go ask him if you like.
A: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! NO!*falls off bed*
M: So, you’re not interested? Try to be quiet. They’re probably wondering what the bloody hell is happening up here.
A: No! Sorry! *thinking* I’M SIXTEEN!
M: Shush! Someone’s coming up the stairs!
D: *Comes up the stairs on her way to her dormitory* Oh, hi Amanda. Hi, Madoline. Merry Christmas!*She leaves and continues up the stairs to her dormitory. Her friend Sofia soon follows up and they start talking, discussing their presents.*
A: Wait, WE HAVE GIFTS TO OPEN!!!!!
M: OH! Let’s go!
*They head down the stairs to open their presents.*
A: Can you wait five more minutes? I need to deliver Charlie’s gift. And his apology.
M: OK.
*They leave, and we return to Daphne and Sofia.*
D: So what was your favorite gift?
S: Definitely Mum’s mince pies.
D: I think my favorite gift is a tie between Mum and Dad’s and Rolf’s.
S: Wait, which one was Rolf’s again?
D: The pygmy puff. Remember?
S: Oh yeah…. I have to give you your gift! * She runs to get Daphne’s gift from under her bed* Here you go! * She hands Daphne a heavy box*
D: Umph! Wow, what is in this? * She sets it down on her bed and opens it.*Wow…..that’s a lot of books! Thanks!

*They head back down the stairs to find Scorpius and Rolf playing Gobstones. Rolf has obviously just been squirted in the face by one of Scorpius’s Gobstones. Daphne, Sofia, and Scorpius start to laugh as Rolf tries desperately to wipe off the Stinksap.*
R: Ugh! This is why I don’t play this very much!
D: It’s okay, Just because you have Stinksap all over your face doesn’t mean I don’t love you. But no kisses until after you’ve washed your face.
R: *Pretending to be slightly disappointed* Aww…
S: It’s ok, because this is my last turn.* He takes his turn and is squirted with Stinksap from one of Rolf’s Gobstones.*
R: Haha! Ok, I’m going to go clean up and get dressed.*He gets up and leaves, and he is soon followed by Scorpius.*
S: We should probably go get dressed too. Breakfast is soon.
D: Yup, I agree.*They head up the stairs of the girls dormitory.*
*They are all soon finished and they head down towards the Great Hall for breakfast and a Hogsmeade trip.*
