Ismera
Four years have passed, and the little Jozyne has learned to walk and talk, and can't seem to shut up and sit down. Of course, this was not always the case, when Ismera was raising her as a baby, instead she had to deal with out of control magic. Nothing too extreme, mostly just the levitating saucer being dropped and shattered on the ground along with its contents, but stressful none the less. But now that she had grown into a 4 year old, her out of control powers had seemed to decline and it almost appeared at though she had forgotten how to use them. That was until she threw a temper tantrum and the lights flickered and there was the return of the out of control saucers. But it soon became apparent to Ismera that her child, as young as she was, definitely needed help learning to control her powers. But her main problem was, last time she checked, school didn't start until next year, and she needed help now.
Timothy
It had been four years, time was flying past, and he knew the child was growing up. It was by no chance that she hadn't been found yet by the armed man so many years ago. The information that the man had obtained had only covered the later years in her life. That being when she was to be of eight years. He had been planning to visit Ismera and break the news of exactly who her child was, but had never got around to it. But here he was at the door of her apartment, feeling like a stalker for knowing where she lived, prepared to knock.
Ismera
"Not again!" Ismera moaned, as her beloved child had started up another temper tantrum. "But I wanna go outside and play!" Jozyne protested. Ismera was exhausted from her day at work and didn't have the drive nor the energy to take her child to the park. And the last thing she needed was another "water fountain incident." The amount of stares she had gotten from that was enough to give her chills. "You will just have to wait until tomorrow sweetie..." She said with a slight hint of impatience as she dodged a flying plastic cup. She had learned long ago when her child was just a babe not to buy anything glass. In all truth she most likely wasn't going to take her to favorite park with the water fountains, which made her worry that she would just get upset again. Then amid the ruckus of flying dishware, a gentle knock came at the door. What now? Was all she could think as she ushered her child to her room, (she had calmed down by now, intrigued by the knock at the door.) and went to answer the door, aware that Jozyne was peeping around the corner to see who it was.
Timothy
Well, he had done, he had knocked at the door, and it was opening, Timothy had never felt more nervous in his entire life. "Who are you?" The lady asked raising a suspicious brow. The door was opening slightly, but it was more than enough to see that the room was a mess from the temper-tantrum he had heard that was going on when he knocked. "Um, yes miss Ismera, about your child..." He started then was cut off. "If your another one of those apartment supervisors, I'm sorry, but I don't know why the lights are flickering and apologize for the noise, good day." At that she closed the door, only for it to stopped by Timothy's foot. "Please maam, I don't think you understand..." He was never good at words. "Oh I think I understand well enough, my child is a disruption to the peacefulness of this apartment floor, now good day!" She said curtly, attempting to get his shoe out of the way. Then just as she succeeded Timothy blurted out. "I can help teach your child!"
Ismera
Ismera paused, still uncertain about this strange man coming up to her doorstep, knowing her name, and apparently knowing her needs. She concluded he must be a psychic of some sort, as these all knowing types usually were. She creaked the door open and looked the man in the eyes. "Who are you?" She asked suspiciously. "I am a psychic as you should have been able to guess...I-I used to be part of a group of psychics..." His eyes suddenly turned somber. "B-but I can help your child, please, let me in..." Ismera looked the man over, as far as dress went he didn't seem all that trustworthy, what with the leather jacket and torn jeans, he almost seemed menacing. His eyes were kind though, and he seemed a tad desperate, as though is business here was more than urgent. So finally after contemplating the ups and downs of letting this stranger into her home, she sighed and finally let him walk in. "Is there anything you would like? Some tea perhaps? Sorry for the mess, my child's abilities are a bit out of control..." She said preparing herself some chamomile tea to help calm her nerves.
Jozyne
There was a strange man in the house, he had dark skin and dark leather jacket to match. Jozyne wondered why in the world Mommy had let him in. Maybe it was because he said he could teach her. But why? If Mommy had just let her go to the park none of this mess would have happened. She still didn't understand why Mommy refused to take her to the park...maybe it was because she had accidentally exploded that water-fountain. But that was merely in fun! She hadn't meant to "disturb the peace." Whatever Mommy meant by that...but now there was the problem of this man, he had just sat down at her spot at the table and they were talking about sending her off to a school. She didn't want to go to school, she liked it here, she wanted to stay! But by now the mother had seemed thoroughly convinced that this man was good, she peered around the corner just a bit farther in order to see more details, only to be scolded by her mother to go back to her room.
Timothy
"No, no it's fine, she can be in here." Timothy said, reassuring the mother that this conversation was not meant to just be privy to just the two of them. "Now as I was saying I am capable of getting your child into a school outside of the city where she can learn in peace...now maam, I must tell you, your child is not like most children you are going to meet, in fact there is only one of her kind on this planet for every 1000 years..." The mother called Ismera raised her hand to stop him. "What do you mean by that? Only people I know who are born every thousand years are..." She paused glancing down at her child who was looking up intrigued by what was going on. Timothy sighed, he had always heard that breaking the news to the parents that their child was meant for great things, and those great things meant being in harms way, was often a very difficult task. "The protectors of the planet, I know Miss Ismera, you do realize what this means correct?" At this the woman stood up looking rather indignant. "I will not just allow you to take my child! I do not care whether it is for the best or not!" She was standing up now, this was exactly how Timothy had predicted this meeting would go..."Maam, I do not think you realize the cruciality of this situation..." Now the question remained whether or not he should tell her exactly what happened that fateful night so long ago, would it convince her to let him train the child or no? Even being a psychic choices were still difficult to make.
Jozyne
Jozyne was looking with brow furrowed at her mother, then back at the man again. What had he said his name was again? She couldn't remember. But now her mother was looking at her as though she was a ghost, and the man was talking about something called cruciality. It was all very confusing, but at the same time there was a tension in the air that excited little Jozyne, told of things to come. But when the man whispered in her mother ear something incomprehensible, and her face went pale, Jozyne tugged at her mother's sleeve and asked: "What's wrong Mommy?" At which point she stood up and went into another section of the apartment, coming out with a small suitcase, which promptly began to pack. Her mother's sudden reaction scared her, and she protested against the man shouting, "What did you do to Mommy?!" She stomped her foot on the floor. "Nothing I merely told her the truth, all of it." He said, in small Jozyne's opinion, too calmly. "What truth? I wanna know!" She said whimpering. "You will know in good time little one, in good time." And with that her things were packed and it seemed as though it was time to leave.
