Jozyne
The moment the woman turned her back to Jozyne she stuck her tongue out at her. There was no way she was keeping her from that room! She had a friend there now and nothing was going to get in her way! But that was a thought for a later date, as she was ushered into the large elevator with the other girls. The elevator went up, up, up, to the sixth floor. Where all the girls got out and headed to their respective classes. Jozyne noticed the symbol that looked like a water droplet over one of the doors and headed there, but was stopped by the curly haired girl she had met before. "You go with them," She said pointing to a group of timid looking newcomers. "The lady in purple will assign the classes that your best suited to. I'm best suited for water, because I'm graceful!" She said after flouncing to the classroom she was 'suited for' and entered closing the door behind her. Jozyne wrinkled her nose as the girl left, not liking her, and only half-hoping she wouldn't get placed in the same class as her. However, since water was her favorite element she still wanted to be in that class...she walked over to where the group of children were standing amid the lady who was wearing a flowing purple garment.
Miss Stephanie
She was commonly known among the children as the lady in purple. As she always wore purple, be it more in the shades of blue or red, she just couldn't resist the newest purple garment to wear. And today was not exception, she was wearing purple dress that ended at her ankles and was wearing high heels today. She had heard from her friend Timothy that there was a new girl in class and she might not be placed like the others. She decided to keep an eye out for her. However all the little children looked the same to her, timid and frightened at their new day at school. However there was this one dark haired tyke that seemed to be more brave than the others, she decided to keep her eye on her. "Hello, my wonderful children! My name is Miss Stephanie, but you may call me the lady in purple! As almost everyone does." She said smiling warmly. "Today I will be placing you in a class in which your abilities are the most unlimited. Does anybody know what that means?" All the children shook their heads, not knowing the answer. Except for the girl who raised her hand, almost immediately. It was the dark haired girl. "Yes, dearie, do you know what it means?" She said not expecting an answer. "It means that you able to go as far as possible..." The girl said unsurely. She was near correct, such a smart child. "Well in this case my dear it means that I will place you in a class where your abilities can be best put to good use, in other words where there is nothing stopping you from becoming better." She said with another smile. The small dark hair girl raised her hand again. "Yes?" She starting to become impatient. "Why would something stop you from becoming better?" She asked her eyes gleaming in concerned curiosity. "Because my child, we are not made all powerful, we can only go so far with our abilities, now come along, I must analyze each of you." The girls hand went up again. "No more questions!" At that the girl's hand went down, and she seemed disappointed.
Jozyne
Little miss Jozyne had so many questions to ask, and so little time. They children were now ushered along into a circular room in which to be evaluated. One by one they were each seen by the lady and sent their preferred class. Some did not seem too happy with the outcome, while others seemed downright delighted. Jozyne hoped she would get put in the aquamancy class. Even if that meant having to put up with Madalin. Soon it was Jozyne's turn. "Ah yes, our little question maker, please, come up front and have a seat." The lady called Stephanie said. She did as she was told taking a seat on the pillow cushion that was set out for at the low lying table. She looked around at the other children who had to wait, they were playing toys that were provided to keep them preoccupied. "Now, now, Miss Jozyne, what class do you think you are best at." The lady asked with a smile. "Water!" Jozyne answered almost immediately. "We shall see..." She responded in an almost sing songish voice. She then placed her hand on little Jozyne's head, and began her reading.
Miss Stephanie
She placed her hand on her head lightly, then pulled it away twice as quickly as she had set it there. She had never felt such raw potential in her life. It seemed as though she was unlimited in all classes. But...that was impossible, no child was born with such an ability, except...she took a deep breath. "What's wrong?" Asked the small girl, dread filling her eyes. "Nothing deary, now...what did you say you wanted to be in again?" She asked realizing this was the child Timothy was talking about. "Water!" The girl responded enthusiastically. "Water it is, please, go to the class with the water drop-" And before she could finish her sentence the child had dashed away, off to her first day at school.
Mr. Calenzi
It was a new assigning day again. He had never really liked assignment days. He believed that children should be put in the classes they loved the most, even if it wasn't the ones they like the most. So he made it his personal problem to make his class as interesting as possible, especially to the ones who were dissapointed to be in his class. But none seemed that way today, which was a relief to him. As a teacher of the ones were younger as well as those who were older, his job was to make certain to have a mix of basic learning skills, and magical skills at levels needed. And considering a four year old just came rushing into his class room, he would have to make certain her writing skills were up to snuff.
Jozyne
Little Jozyne was excited to learn about magic, however when the normal work was placed in front of her, she was not altogether too happy about it. But she finished it anyways. When she was given more normal non-magical work to do, she felt confused, and decided to ask the only person she knew why. Madalin. "Hey..why-" She was cut off before she could continue. "Why are you not learning magic? Oh that rather simple, it's because you're a four year old, and four year olds don't learn magic, just wait a couple years." And at that the dark curly haired girl returned to controlling what looked like an orb of water. Jozyne sighed and decided not to complain, but a couple years did seem like a long time. Soon school was out and she slumped back to her room, rather dissapointed. Only to find a pleasant surprise waiting for her.
