The pink-haired teen backed away, his eyes never leaving the black and red clad teen. He seemed perfect; incredibly perfect.
Too perfect…
It was almost like Ace knew with the way he had shed his jacket to show himself off. His upper half was clad in a snug, crimson zip-up tank while the black denim of his jeans hung loosely on his hips, black and red shoes on his feet. His dual-colored hair would occasionally fall into his face, but he would casually sweep it aside as he watched Robert.
Seeing how Robbie was still speechless, Ace allowed his small smile to grow a bit more, making his dull eyes appear livelier. Still, the pinkette didn't say anything.
"Breathe."
Robert did so immediately, feeling relief rush over him. He then stood and begun to pace around the room, allowing dark red eyes to follow him slowly. As he passed by Ace, the PDA grabbed the back of the pinkette's gakuran top, gaining a startled gasp.
"Stop that," the raven said as he walked the other back over to the couch.
He dropped the pinkette unceremoniously, earning him an irritated grunt before he put his hands into his back pockets. Robbie just stared up at him not sure on what else to actually do. He didn't move as the alleged PDA stared back.
"So…you're the PDA…?"
Ace gave a small bow with a charming smile to match. As he stood up straight, his eyes drifted towards the door.
"Correction," Ace said as he walked to said object, "I am your PDA."
The front entrance swung open, a small redhead running in, dropping his bag on the floor.
"Robbie~!" the small child called before noticing the guest standing there. "Who are you?"
The PDA knelt down to be eyelevel with the boy and extended his hand. "Ace, and who might you be?"
"Skylar," he replied, shaking the hand offered to him. "Are you my brother's friend?"
"Yes," Ace said, standing back up after he picked up the child's bag. "It's an honor to make your acquaintance."
The redhead nodded before running into the living room, jumping on the pinkette that was still watching the other by the door. When the younger brother wiggled about, Robert dropped his gaze to the one who had carelessly flopped on him.
"Would you get off?" the eldest asked irritably.
Skylar simply pouted before poking his brother in the arm. "Don't make me tell mom."
"She isn't even here," Rob retorted, "so get off, you lil' snitch!"
The boy whined before getting off with a huff. "Fine, but I'm hungry."
"You're always hungry." Standing up, the pinkette walked to the kitchen, watching Ace as he studied the bag in his hands. "What do you want to eat, Sky?"
The redhead followed in behind his older brother, watching him curiously until he began to wash his hands.
"Hey, Robbie?"
"What?"
"Who's your friend?"
The pinkette turned to look down at the small imp known as his brother. "He's not-" He halted midstream as the PDA walked in setting the bag down on the counter. "His name is Ace."
"How come ya' keep watching him?" the child asked quietly, which clearly contrasted the smile that was creeping along his face.
"Go put your bag in the room," Robert replied, pulling out a loaf of bread.
"But, Rob-"
"Now, Skylar!"
"Fine!" Skylar said huffily as he went over to the counter, grabbed his bag, and ran out to put the item away.
"He's entertaining," Ace said after the small redhead left.
Robert eyed the raven leant against the black marble countertop before returning to his current task. Slicing the bread, the teen's eyes stared out the window, his mind drifting off into his own little world. He figured that if he'd just think of something else, this all would have been some kind of weird dream.
Fantasy or not, pain hurt.
Pain hurt a lot and Robert took notice of it as his eyes left the outside view to see his finger bleeding.
"Damn it."
Setting the knife aside, Rob looked down at the red drops on the knife's blade before looking back at his finger again. Sighing unhappily, he examined the wounded digit, scolding himself mentally before looking around for a paper towel to wrap it in.
'Where are they?' he thought irritably as he searched the cabinets.
As the cupboard door closed, the teen jumped back when he saw Ace standing next to him. He narrowed his eyes at the PDA before turning to walk out; the raven's grasp on the back of his gakuran top was the only thing that held him in place, much to his own dismay.
"Hey."
"Would you let go?" the pinkette asked as he fidgeted, watching blood drip on to the kitchen floor.
"Just hold still," Ace replied, turning Robert around.
Raising the boy's hand, dark eyes stared at the bleeding finger. Redirecting his gaze towards Robbie's, Ace took the time to ease the wounded digit into his mouth while the teen was staring at him. It earned a startled gasp,, yet Ace didn't let go.
"W-what are you d-doing?" the pink-haired teen stammered, his cheeks flushing instantly. "L-let go!"
Ace did so a few seconds later and watched as the one with glasses checked his finger earnestly. He rubbed his thumb over his lip before licking it, smirking as Rob shivered.
"Are you ok?"
"What d-did you do that for?" Robert asked, stammering again. "Are you a v-vampire or something?"
He was a bit louder towards the end and the PDA couldn't help but chuckle as he watched him.
"You were bleeding so I took care of it," Ace replied. "It's no longer an issue, is it?"
"W-well, no, but you-"
"Then let's put the past behind us, hmm?"
Skylar sat happily at the table, eating a slice of pizza that had been made. He had originally thought that it had been delivered until he watched Ace pull it from the oven, a smile gracing the raven's face as the small redhead hovered around him asking for some. Though it was originally intended for the pinkette himself, the PDA didn't mind relinquishing a slice to who he later learned was the other's younger brother.
Once the child was out of the way, Ace made his way up the stairs, looking around the upper level as he carried a slice of pizza. The pinkette had fled to be upstairs moments after the raven had released him and he had yet to come back. Taking it upon himself, Ace headed up to deliver the food but stopped as he heard the sound of running water. It lasted about ten minutes before going silent; the exception being the sound of crickets from outside. Taking a mental note that most of the doors were locked or just closed, the raven decided to go to the door that was slightly ajar. Seeing how the light was on, he proceeded forward.
"Robert. I-"
The pinkette whirled around, his damp hair clinging to his forehead; a towel wrapped along his waist while his cheeks were dusted almost the same color as his hair.
"D-don't you know h-how to knock?" he asked, his voice practically a squeak as he held onto the towel around him. "Get out!"
"Aw, but why?" Ace asked as he strolled in, kicking the door closed behind him. "There's no need to be embarrassed." He watched as hazel eyes narrowed at him. "Besides, you look cute."

Robert stood flustered with way too many thoughts running through his mind to process what was happening at the moment. His pale face was beet-red while his mouth was left agape. When he went to speak, the only words to come out was something close to a "thank you…?"
He finally took a few steps back once he realized that Ace was still walking towards him, a small smile along his face. When the pinkette had stumbled back and fell on the bed, the red-streaked raven leaned forward, one eyebrow arched as if to question the one sitting down. When no words came out, the PDA stood up, holding a plate in his hand.
"Would you like some pizza?"

Seeing a mischievous glint, or what he thought to be one in Ace's eyes, Robert hand reached behind him to pick up a pillow and chuck it at the smiling raven. The PDA stepped to the side, turning his head to see the thrown object smack into the door behind him. When he turned around, a second pillow met the front of his face.
"Is that a... no to the pizza?" he asked after the pillow had hit the floor.
"Would you get out of here?!" Robbie yelled, glaring at the other while his hands clutched the sheets of his bed much too tightly. "Get out! Get out! Get out! G-"
He halted as the raven averted his eyes. The smile that had been present faded into a frown while the owner's dark eyes appeared to be…trembling?
'Oh, c'mon…' the pinkette thought. "You better not cry…"Ace looked over at the one seated and narrowed his own eyes in question. Robbie simply sighed as he rubbed the sides of his head slowly. "Just…go wait in the hall for a few moments."
Ace nodded once before walking out, closing the door behind him. He took a seat across the hall and waited patiently. Five minutes later, the door opened with the pinkette standing in the entrance. The PDA sat quietly, his burgundy eyes glazed over.
"Hey," the teen murmured, adjusting his glasses a bit. Not getting a response, Robert approached the other carefully and knelt down, waving his hand in front of the other's face. "Hellooo…?" Nothing. 'He's weird...' he mused. "Ace?"
The dark eyes blinked before slowly regaining focus. After several more blinks, Ace turned his gaze upwards to see the pinkette staring pensively at him. Leaning back to get space between them, the PDA noticed how the boy was dressed in shorts, presumably for bed.
Getting onto his own feet, the raven stared down at the smaller one, his head tilted slightly.
"What?" Robert asked, feeling awkward due to the fact that he actually had to look up at the one he was speaking to.
"You're going to bed?" Ace asked.
"No, I have homework first…"
"Oh…" The PDA turned his attention to the sound of a television coming on downstairs. He then turned his attention to Robert to see he had went back to his room. "Would you like any help?"
"Do you understand stoichiometry?" the teen asked; a bit dumbfounded as the other nodded. "Then yes you can help."
Ace walked in, smiling as he closed the door behind him. He received a curious stare from the other but only smiled more as both took a seat on the bed. Grabbing his book bag, Robert fished out his assignment and handed it over to Ace. Once the PDA got a hold of it, his burgundy eyes scanned the paper intently before picking up a pencil.
"So here lies your problem," the raven explained, pointing out several mistakes and scooting just a bit closer so that the pinkette wouldn't strain himself. "Do you get it?"
Robbie stared at the paper then at the examples Ace had so kindly provided. Comparing the two, he sat the assignment on his notebook and began to work out one of the problems.
"Like this?" he asked, holding the paper out.
The raven's eyes scanned the paper slowly, checking for any critical errors before handing the paper back with a smile.
"You got it."
The hazel-eyed teen smiled himself as he began to work out the other problems, not hesitating to ask any questions if he became stuck. Ace sat quietly, watching carefully, pointing out anything out of place and answering any questions the other had asked. 428Please respect copyright.PENANA8veVHKVpke
The assignment had been completed within an hour and put away.
"Now, would you like something to eat?" the PDA asked.
"I suppose," Rob replied as he yawned a bit. "But I have to feed Skylar first."
"That's already been taken care off."
"Oh…then sure, I guess I could eat."
Standing up, Ace walked out of the room and headed downstairs to heat up the slice that had become cold. As he passed by the living room, he noticed the small redheaded child was snuggled up in a blanket, fast asleep with the television on. While the pizza heated up, the PDA made his way back into the other room and turned off the tv prior to picking up the sleeping boy. Heading up the stairs, he peeked through several rooms before coming across the one that he had guess to belong to Skylar. Placing him in bed, the raven tucked him in before walking out and heading back to the kitchen.
Putting away the rest of the pizza, Ace headed upstairs with the heated slice and knocked once. Not receiving a verbal reply, he opened the door slowly and peeked inside to see that Robert was laying down, his back towards the him as he walked over, the raven set the plate down on the nightstand before tapping Robbie on the shoulder. When the other didn't say anything, the PDA knelt on the bed and realized that the teen had already fallen asleep like his brother.
Leaning in momentarily, Ace stood up soon after and walked over to the door, cutting off the lights. Looking at the time on the computer screen, the raven walked over to the corner across from the Robert's bed and sat down. Once seated comfortably, he looked around the darkened room once before closing his own eyes for the night.
