The gun slipped out of Adrian's hands and hit the ground with a thud, breaking that absense of noise.
I stood by the wall, staring at the collapsed heap of dead person on the floor that I used to know.
"I... I killed him..."
I regained my composure and made my way to Adrian. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders to try to show him some form of comfort.
"It wasn't your fault dude, he turned on us, and... You were protecting yourself,"
"And you."
I nodded in agreement.
"But what happened? What caused him to... To..." Adrian's voice trailed off.
I sighed.
