It was a dark and stormy night. A family curled up around the fireplace, sleepy from the heat. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Huh?" the father mumbled, surprised that someone was out at this time of night. Nevertheless, he got up to answer it. The second he opened the door, the power cut out. The fireplace blew out as well, and his wife and two children cried out in surprise.
A swish was heard through the air, followed by a loud thud. The father was dead, not that his family knew it. "W-who's there?" the mother called hesitantly. "D-D-Daniel?"
Another swish and thump. The mother was now dead as well.
