Friday, June 13, 1957

Camp Crystal Lake

The campers were asleep on their bunks.

It was a cold evening at the camp.

A full moon was in the night sky.

Barry Jones waved at Claudette Hayes.

'Can you take care of the campers?', Claudette asked Jon Moore, a thirteen year old camper.

'Yes', Jon said.

Claudette sang: 'Hang your head, Tom Dooley! Hang your head...You're going to die!'.

Claudette saw the old, 1930's barn.

They opened the door.

Inside the barn, Barry looked around.

'Over there, by the yellow bales of hay'.

Claudette said: 'Does Mary Anne kiss better than I do?', she asked.

'How do I know', Barry answered, dismissively.

'Someone's here!', Claudette said.

'Hey, we wouldn't doing anything-', Barry said.

The knife came towards him, and he screamed as his body thudded to the hay. Claudette yelled.

She threw two bales of hay with her small, right hand.

'No! Please, no!'.

The knife came towards her, and the horror of Friday the 13th had started.
