As Lily returned to her compartment, she tried to make all the blood go back down to her body. After the little "talk" with Draco Malfoy, she was very uncomfortable.
Before she entered, the lights went out for a second, and it came right back on. She thought that it must've been a stupid light-out. When she entered the compartment, she saw Harry slouched down on the seats, with a man with shaggy brown hair leaning over him.
"Harry? What happened?" She asked, as she closed the compartment door.
The man turned around with chocolate in his hands. His eyes widened, and he nearly dropped his chocolate.
"Liliana..." He whispered.
Lily faced him. "How do you know my name?" She asked, taking out her wand that she'd gotten when she'd gone shopping for her school supplies.
"Lily, you can't use wands on trains, you're not of age yet, and you probably don't know most of the spells yet." Hermione said, as she slowly pushed Lily's hand down.
Lily nodded, and sat down, far away from the man, and eyeing him as well.
"Who's he?" She quietly asked Hermione.
"We think he may be our new professor for Defense against the Dark Arts. We also think his name's Lupin. Look at his suitcase." She replied, pointing to a brown suitcase next to the man. Lily looked closer, and realized there was a small print.
Professor R.J. Lupin
She cast a glance at Professor Lupin, and caught him staring at her, and he instantly looked at his chocolate, as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.

When they finally came to a halt at Hogwarts, there were black carriages. But instead of horses pulling them, there was instead nothing. She gazed at the sight, and shook her head.
"Hermione, since I think you're the only smart one in the group, what exactly are pulling the carriages?" She asked the girl next to her.
"Well, there's really nothing pulling the carriages. I think it may be enchanted to pull itself." She replied, fixing her tie.
Before they had gotten off the Express, Lily had quickly changed into her robes, accidently wearing them inside-out.
"Sis, you do realize you're wearing your robes inside-out, right?" Harry whispered, covering up his laughter with fake coughing, then for some reason, actually starting to choke.
She ignored her brother, while Death was reaching out to him, and looked down at her robes, noticing that they were indeed, inside-out. But she had to wait to get into the castle to change.
When they climbed onto the carriages, they had a small talk about Hogwarts.
"Blimey Harry. Do you think that Sirius might come to Hogwarts?" Ron asked, while eating a chocolate frog he had gotten from the food trolley. There seemed to be some sort of card inside. It was a picture of someone. An old man, Dumbledore. She realized.
Ron groaned. "I've got about a million of Dumbledores. Hey Lily, want this card? You can start your own collection." He said, giving her the card.
"Thanks," She mumbled, staring at the card.
Suddenly, without a warning, the Dumbledore in the picture walked out of the card frame. She yelped, and nearly dropped it. The three students around her jumped, and instantly took out their wands. They calmed down when they had realized there was nothing.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked. leaving her book open.
"The person in this card-it moved!" She exclaimed, showing it to the others.
The trio looked at each other, and burst out laughing. Lily glared at them.
"What? Hermione, weren't you born in a Muggle family? You should know, that people don't just randomly walk out of their pictures!" Lily said.
"Well, in the Wizarding world, pictures really have a mind of their own. They do whatever comes to their minds." She answered, closing her book.
Lily nodded, and placed the card in her pocket.
"But seriously, you didn't have to yell out like that," Ron commented, opening another box of Chocolate Frogs.
"Well, I was scared, Ronald, not my fault," She said, rolling her eyes.

The sorting was one of the things she had been worried about. As she walked in a line with all the first-years, she was just as worried and anxious as them. Professor Mcgonagall, as she'd learned her name, overhearing some students talk about her, took out a long scroll, and called out, "Potter, Liliana."
There was a hush across the Great Hall, once they heard her name. Lily gulped, and stepped forward. She glanced at her brother, who smiled encouragingly. She sat down on the stool, and an old, black hat was placed on her head, nearly over her eyes.
Well now, another Potter, eh? A voice said in her head. You're pretty scared, now are you? Lets see...you're smart, but you use too much of your emotional side. You're cunning, as I can tell. Lily gulped, knowing that cunning was one of the perks of Slytherin. I can see you're very loyal... but alas, you're also very brave so I think, that you shall be a... "GRYFFINDOR!"
Lily sighed in relief, and hearing a huge outburst at a table, where she saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione. She smiled, and headed over to the table. When she reached it, She plopped herself between Harry and Ron.
"Welcome to Gryffindor, Lily!" Said one of the Weasley boys. It was the oldest, Percy, she remembered.
She smiled back, "Thanks, Percy."
"If you didn't know yet, I'm the Prefect of Gryffindor," He said, confidently.
"What's a Prefect?" Lily wondered out loud.
The other Gryffindors near her stared at her.
"What?" She snapped.
They instantly went back to doing whatever they were doing, but one caught her eye.
It was a young girl. She must've been around twelve. She, like Ron, had fiery red hair, and freckles all over her face.
Lily nudged Ron.
"Hey, who's that?" She asked, tilting her head toward the young girl.
He looked at her, and replied, "That's my little sister, Ginny,"
