Leaning back on my bed with a large sigh, I watched the ceiling fan and the blades moving round and round. I really wanted to know what she was going to say. But at the same time, I was a bit heartbroken.

I decided to get out of this hell-hole.

I pulled my hood over my head as I walked down the empty streets. Hands in my pockets. Looking straight. Only straight. Make eye contact with anyone and you're basically dead.

I looked up to find that I was already at Burger Kingdom. I grimaced as I made my way around it. It stank like moldy cheese.

"Okay, I know what you're about to say," she started, but I cut her off.
"No, don't say that. Don't. You fooled me for a whole 2 years. You don't even love me. And now you're forcing me to follow you here? What is going on?!" I said, almost yelling. Okay, I was irritated.
"That's what I was about to say. My family was relocated here 2 years ago. We're from Saudi Arabia."
Explains the name.
"We came from their government, to America, well, because we've heard news from Arabic spies down here."
"News of what?!"
Boom.
Neeka swore. I heard a click from her pocket.
"Wait, is that a gun?!" I said as I watched her load it. "That's dangerous as hell!"
Ignoring me, she said, "We have to go."
I peeked around from the corner and saw multiple armed vehicles stop at the entrance.
"What's happening?!" I yelled, turning back to her.
"They are after our heads," she whispered, "because we know the Codes."
"What codes?!"
She covered my mouth. They heard us.
