Alice looks at the bright sky and looks behind her. The people seem busy with their life.
“The people won’t be disturbed by the siren’s voice now that we helped June save the realm of the sunken ship. Heh, it feels satisfying to know the truth behind the mystery of the siren’s voice that I used to wonder about,” Alice said with a pleased face.
Everyone stands on the dock’s wooden pier and looks at their reflection on the water when June emerges her head from the surface. Vine jumps in shock.
“June, you surprised us,” Vine said.
June looks at their faces curiously. “Where are you going?” June asked.
“Hm, you knew our plan from our face. We are going back to our world and time, June,” Alice said.
“You’re the only humans brave enough to see me. Most humans would run away as soon as they saw me and spread false ugly information about my kind. It feels sad,” June looked away with sad face.
Alice and Vine put their hands on her back.
“I know that we couldn’t take you with us but don’t worry, we will come back to visit you sometimes,” Alice said.
June begins to cry and sobs.
“Don’t cry, June. We told you that we would come back here,” Vine said.
Marta hears a sound behind them.
“Time to go home,” Marta entered the opened gateway.
Alice and Vine waved their hands on June. Everyone returns back to their timeline as the gateway closed. The aged sailor noticed the sound and came out from the cabin. Everyone has gone except June who was still half submerged in the water. June looks at the aged sailor with tears still flowing from her eyes.
“It’s the siren,” the aged sailor said.
June begins glowing and disappears.
“She’s gone,” the aged sailor said with disbelief at what he saw.
Meanwhile, Alice, Vine, and Marta appear in Magi Village.
“Where are we?” Alice looked.
“We’re back home!” Vine shouted.
“We’re back in the Village,” Marta said.
As Alice and Vine prance around happily, someone approaches Marta from behind.
Marta looks behind her and jumps in shock. “Ah! Mother!” Marta said.
Alice and Vine stop prancing and look at them. “What? Marta has a mother?” Alice and Vine asked in disbelief.
“Yes dear, Marta’s mother has just returned from her travel,” the elderly woman said.
Alice and Vine looked at Marta’s mother with fear. Marta’s mother looks like an angry large bear judging from her long unruly hair and big posture.
“Where have you been, Marta? You have a lot of things to tell your mother,” Marta’s mother said with a strict voice.
Marta’s mother pulled her daughter’s ear to their tent.
“Ouch, not my ear again! Ouch, mom!!” Marta screamed as her mother pulled her.
“Seriously? I thought that the mother would be as friendly as her. What a strict big bear,” Vine said with a disappointed look at what he would expect of a mother.
“I never thought that Marta has a mom. She never told me that she has a mom. It turns out that she went on a journey when Marta was 8 years old. So...her mom has returned when Marta is 18 years old...Lucky that this Village doesn’t mind manner when it comes to older children, I called her name instead of big sister,” Alice said with a sweat.
Alice softly hits Vine with her left elbow. “Let’s get some rest. We have done enough for today,” Alice said.
“Great, I’m tired,” Vine said.
Vine enters his tent and sleeps soundly. Alice enters her tent and writes everything she saw and discovered.
“I await our next journey,” Alice said.
Meanwhile...Argill returns to the other side of the dimension and bows to a figure.
“Master Mirage, me have returned....,” Argill said with a sweat.
The figure gives a sharp stare that gives Argill a goosebump of fear.
“Hrmph, you need not tell me....Nagi is no longer...Hmph! I did not expect that two minions are not enough to stop that wretched Apprentice. You have failed me, Argill! You failed to stop her together with Nagi. Both of you are worthless!” the Voice roared.
“Forgive me, Master...,” Argill said, his knees are trembling.
“Hrmm, Nagi will be brought back from her petrified state,” the Voice growled.
The figure brought Nagi’s stone statue to the room and purified her from petrified state. The stone skins crumble and Nagi can move freely again.
“I’m free from the stone. Thank you, Master,” Nagi bowed her head.
“Enough with the conversation! It’s time to show that Human what fate will befall upon her along with the Valkyrie. Gaour!” the Voice said.
“Hrm?? Gaour? The demon that always appeared as a man?” Argill looked with disbelief.
A man in a merchant outfit enters the room.
“Thou summoneth me?” Gaour asked.
“Gaour, show the Human and Valkyrie what fate will befall upon them! The man of mystery, Gaour!” the Voice said.
“I shalt not fail thee,” he bowed.
Nagi looked at Gaour with hate as she could sense the man’s cunning intention.
