Two weeks he has been gone not a call or a text he was with Budahh but that did not easy my mind. Buddah told me that what Hovi was handling was important so I just let him go. I did my usual when I heard the door open. I didn't rush I just assume it was Lace checking on me. I heard foot steps.
"I'm fine Lace." I said.
"Good thing I'm not Lace." I heard Hovi say. He took my cane out my hand. "No I can't."
"Just hold onto me. I missed you ma." He said holding me.
"Where have you been that you couldn't call."
"Let me show you." He said and we walked to the livingroom and I saw his little boy. I looked at him and he smiled.
"Okay you get a pass this time." I said and sat Down.
"Hi, I'm Khoas."
"I'm Boo." I said and he shook my hand.
"You about to be my new mommy? My last mom was horrible, you got kids?" He asked.
"Yeah my mom sucked to but I got a little girl and I'm pregnant with two boys." I said.
"My pops said your his wife so that means you gotta be my new mom." He said.
"You hungry? I just cooked breakfast." I said.
"Yes, I am hungry." He said with a smile.
I made everyone a plate Avonni and Khoas hit it off but Avonni had to go to school and he was upset so we decided to watch a movie. Everyonevfell asleep but I was up. I had a hard time sleeping in this house because everywhere I looked it was a picture of Lexie. Even in the bedroom. I had to be reminded of her but some pictures he had with her had their son so I felt selfish asking.
"Whats wrong Boo." Khoas whispered.
"Nothing. Just can't sleep." I said.
"Its the pictures ain't it." He said.
"Yeah, how you know." I laughed.
"I don't like them either." He whispered.
"Come on let's go to the other room its no pictures in there." I laughed we walked in the guest room and we laid down, it didn't take long for sleep to consume us.
