"I'm gonna go." I told her it was three in the morning.
"Hovi stay, please." She said softly.
"I gotta go to the office. Its an emergency you want me to come by after." I asked.
"Yeah." She said and laid back down. I hated to lie to her but I was about to take care of something for her. I invited ole boy out to my warehouse. He was having his life taken from him tonight. I kissed Boo and left out of her house.
I washed my hands as my clean up crew got rid of the body. Sad part is his mama paid me to make him disappear. I would have done it regardless for Boo.
"Son is this girl worth you coming out of retirement." My pops said.
"Yeah, she was. You ain't see her. When she's around other people she acts like nothing is wrong but when people left she was crying. I had to take care of it for her." I said.
"Son you haven't been right since your mother died. Maybe you need to leave this girl alone."
"Look, thanks for your help but your input on Boo is not needed." I said changing my clothes.
"Alright." He said and left.
When I met Boo I just got out this toxic ass relationship with my baby mother. Lexie had a hand problem her ass use to get mad at hit me. For four years I was with her and one day she shot me and my son. My son ended up dying that night and she got away with murder. When I started hanging out with Lace is when I heard Boo laugh and it was like bells to my ears. She put me on the visitation list and from the first moment I saw her I fell in love. She really made my life simple.
"Mr. Savage you have a woman here." My assistant said.
"Bring her back." I said. When I looked up it was Boo. I smiled at her but she didn't smile back.
"You got another woman or what. I been racking my brain and I can't figure it out. I been sitting in this parking lot since four this morning and you weren't here." She snapped.
"Come here." I said and she walked around and sat in my lap. "I am not with nobody but you. I had to take care of something."
"You changed your clothes." She said.
"I did."
"Okay Hovi." She said. I kissed her cheek and she smiled.
