When I found out that I could fully transform into a man, I decided against it, because I want to give birth as well as be seen as a man. I know, I'm confusing, but I never liked women, so having children would mean that I have to bare the child, right?
Soon enough, it was the day of our not-so-blind date. My family accidentally found out and were insistent that they had to meet Leo and apparently the same happened with Leo, except it was his sister that he practically raised. So imagine, two people who could be twins that are more than 40 cm taller than me, a very short man (me), a tall muscular guy who looked like a movie star, and a girl that was taller than me.
"So, which one is Wolf?" his sister asked. I raised my hand.
"My name is Wolfgang Reinhart," I said, "These two are my family, my father, Benjamin and Dorian."
"It's nice to meet you. My name is Leonard McCarty," Leo said, "And this is my little sister Clara."
"It's nice to meet you too," I said, trying not to laugh.
"Why are you giggling, Wolf?" one of my family members asked, "You know it's rude."
"I just thought it was funny," I said, "Because we already know each other from work."
"He's another bartender?" the other family member of mine asked.
"No," Leo said, "I'm a bouncer. I help with rowdy customers and sometimes have to kick people out of the bar."
"Which is why I don't go to bars anymore," one of my relatives whispered next to me.
"I don't like what you just said, Benjamin," Leo said.
"I like this guy!" the other one said, "I'll take the other drunk and go home. Our job is done!" They left in a hurry.
"What just happened?" I asked.
"I thought you would know," Leo said, "They are you relatives."
"How did you tell them apart?" I asked.
"Wait, you can't?" Leo asked.
"Not at all," I said, "They never mention the other's name, they just say 'the other drunk' when referring to the other one."
"I see," Leo said, "That's sad. I'm sorry that you have to live with two alcoholics."
"You really have no idea," I said, "It's been this way for a very long time, probably since my Mother died when I was a toddler. Not that I can remember that."
"I'm so sorry, Wolf," Leo said, "If anything you can live with me and Clara."
"I don't think that's a good idea," I said, "At least not for the moment."
"Yeah, Leo," Clara said, "This is your first date."
"I did tell you I was having a date with the person I wanted to marry, right, Clara?" Leo said.
"I know it's just..." Clara said, "You two need to get to know each other more. Well, I better go, our next door neighbor promised me ribs tonight and I'm spending the night. So don't worry about me." Clara waved and left in a hurry.
"So, you thought you'd be out all night?" I asked. Leo looked away.
"No, my sister insisted," Leo said, "She wants me to worry as little as possible when I go on dates."
"How reassuring," I said.
"She's also in love with the neighbor's daughter," Leo said.
"I have to tell you something," I said, "I don't have the same parts in the trunk as you do."
"Car references for body parts?" Leo asked, "I didn't think that you could be any cooler."
"Wait, what?" I asked, confused, "Do you know what I meant?"
"Yeah," Leo said, "So what? You don't need a certain genitalia to be a certain gender, that's frankly bull."
"Wait, weren't we going to go to dinner?" I asked. Leo smirked.
"My car is outside," Leo said, "Let's go for a drive and then we'll decide what to eat." I haven't been in a car in a very long time.
"Okay," I said, "I'll pay for the gas." Leo smiled.
"No need," Leo said, "Tonight I'm treating both of us." We got to his car and it was a white Ram Truck.
"Nice," I said, "I'm not very familiar with the Ram brand, but this truck looks very sturdy."
