In the world of Empyrea, the once-bright future has been reduced to ashes. The Æbyssal Triumvirate has entered into the realm and ravaged the land and corrupted its people with the hammer that the Covenant of the Void was allowed to become over time. Despite the warnings of the ancient Order of the Dragoon, Empyrea's reliance on Æther, the revolutionary power source that was meant to bring prosperity and progress, has instead led it to ruin: once-holy places are now desecrated, and the people live in constant fear of persecution. However, the Coalition Against the Æbyss continues to exist in the North of Empyrea, and it may have discovered a weakness it can exploit if it can find the right people.
The Last Age is a gripping tale of romance and rebellion, told through the perspectives of many POV characters, these three are the main ones:
● The Adeptus Sociological: A Scholar of the Science of Human behaviour used as a tool of manipulation by a resurrected monster from Empyrean History.
● Provisional Prefect Ellanor Etatè: A young administrator forced to confront the consequences of her association with the EASP Party by an even worse regime that has returned to power again in the East.
● Viscountess Valerie Reine Ego of Chalcrystis: Hiding from the forces of her own family, Valerie must use her charm and wit to avoid capture by her brother and sister, all while navigating the treacherous landscape of power and love to secure her own future.
Charles Alexander Worce III, once respected as the High-Exarch of Worcestershire and before that as Grand-General, finds himself grappling with the bitterness of being forgotten. With his years slipping away and having nothing to show for a lifetime devoted to service because of the new Earl, Worce begins to tell the tale of the Coalition War.

A long time ago, there was a planet on the surface of which a real living Heart was beating. Each of its beat gave life to many wonderful creatures, and humans were no exception. Once, during a mountain collapse, they became afraid that something might happen to the Heart, and built a fence around it. And they started arguing about who is the worthiest defender of the Heart. The fence turned into a wall, and the city rose very quickly around it. Everything that people came up with was immediately brought to life by the love of the Heart. So, they created dolls to help themselves, which significantly accelerated the construction. In the time that was freed up, people took up the war. One day they closed the Heart completely, erecting a dome over it. Miracles stopped happening, and the dolls stopped coming to life. People blamed magical creatures for this and began hunting them. And in order not to stop the construction, they began to chip off pieces of the Heart and insert them into their mechanisms. The city continued to grow. Centuries have passed. The city has propped up the sky with towers. Only fragments of the Heart remained, saturating the black smoke with its breath. Factories that produce nightmarish monsters fed on it. With their help, people continue to wage war with each other for the title of the worthiest defender of the Heart. While it is dying. This is where our story begins...
This is a translation in process. So I am open for suggestions and comments on what to improve in the flow of the text.

But some of us were too afraid to move on. So, they stayed. In many ways achieving god like powers and also immortality. But with it came a burden.
