For this contest, we'll be working together to create a short story! Each writer will pick up where the last person left off and keep writing.

I'll start things off:

"When one dares to dream, we project an impossible future. That is, until we act upon our dreams and make them actions."

Winston looked up from the scrawled note that had been shoved under his door. Dare to dream?He thought. There is nothing left in our nation to dream for. With our government, we have no hope of making any change.

This is more of an experiment than anything, but I'm curious to see how it goes.

The first contestant will be given a prompt. The goal is to complete the prompt and create a new one at the end of your submission for the next contestant. This is not a serial contest! The prompts and submissions don't have to have anything to do with each other. They can be three random words, or a line of dialogue, or a setting, character, and item. The prompt you create for the next person can be anything, but please keep all submission less than 500 words! I want to see how many people we can get to participate. :)

Like count will be the judging method for the winners!

This was not at all what I imagined Hell to be like. Fire, brimstone, wails of the dead? Sure. But...this? This was just ridiculous.

Now if you love being creative and imaginative, this is a good place to be in. You have to create how the event ends up.

This is a one on one showdown, where two big time rivals are against each other. Its up to you how it starts, continues and ends. You have up to a 1000 words total for it.

There is no limit, it can be comedic, horrific or truly epic, its can be a simple game of soccer or a full on magic battle. The top three will get the badges (and maybe bragging rights) but everyone else will still win for creating something cool and fun.
