Chapter 5: “Decision”
“Pleasure to meet you, my name is West, West White.” – said the person who told them that awful joke.
\: “West White, we don’t know much about him, but we sure do know that he’s terrible at making jokes. West White is wearing a big black t-shirt with Japanese kanji written on it, his shorts have a dark-bluish type of color and finally he is doing the socks and sandals combo which is weird to look at.”
“So, why are you both inside this booze-reeked bar?” West asked Howl and Cathy.
[Howl gulped and said…]
“Believe it or not, but a tree was following us. He said that his name was—”
“Slyth?” West then quickly responded.
[The both of them then nodded]
“Wonderful!” West excitedly said. Howl and Cathy were confused about why West was excited that both of them were getting chased by a tree named Slyth. After that, the three of them then left the bar and started walking on the main road. While they’re at it, West decided to ask some questions.
“Since I already introduced myself, how about you two? What are your names? Starting with you boy…” West asked.
“My name is Howl Olive; I am on a journey to find my mother. I also really like playing roleplay by myself!” Howl introduced himself.
“Interesting…” West replied to Howl’s introduction. “How about you, little girl? What is your name?” West then asked Cathy.
“My name is Cathy Hollows; I like cooking and I want to help Howl because he saved me from a goblin scum.” Cathy then replied to West.
[West’s phone started vibrating, it’s like someone’s calling]
|| Britt, brttttt! || West’s phone vibrates.
“You can answer that if you want, we can wait for you” Cathy kindly said and smiled.
“Thanks, a lot. Cathy” West humbly replied.
-- West answered the phone call…
“So, West White, I’ve heard from Slyth that you got them. Now, I only need both of them to rest and sleep and then this plan of ours will be foolproof.” – the person on the phone told to West.
“I will follow your orders, sir. Don’t you worry, I will make this plan be accomplished—” West replied.
“Now, West. Try to play with them for a little while. Buy me some time for a bit, I will surprise you three with a gift of mine that I made last night…” – the person said.
--- Howl got a little suspicion of West, so he didn’t fully trust him.
{Thursday, 2:30 PM}
West ended the call and the three of them went to West’s motel he rented four hours ago.
“You, both can sleep together in this comfy bed. Don’t worry I won’t bother you both and do anything bed.” West decided to make a joke and hoping for the both of them to laugh.
-- they didn’t.
[Howl and Cathy got confused and blushed after hearing what West said]
- West nothing but an awkward silence from both of them…
“Come on, you two. Rest for a while, the both of you must’ve done a lot of running today.” West said to the both of them.
Howl still had the suspicion of West, on the other hand, Cathy Hollows trusts West. From Cathy’s perspective, West looks like someone that can take care of them. For her, West is like a parent but for Howl it’s a whole different story. Howl heard a bit of West’s call from earlier. He heard “Slyth…” after hearing that Howl’s trust of West lessened.
[Cathy head to bed first and then Howl…]
\: “The motel’s name that West rented in, is called ‘Eagle and Hawks Motel’ it has twelve rooms. The rooms are kind of small, six above and six below. Beside the motel is an old abandoned wooden mansion with lots of cobwebs around the corners.”
…
{Thursday, 5:20 PM}
“Where-?”
“Where am I?” Howl questioned himself, he saw nothing but pure darkness. The odd thing about it is that Howl cannot move, it’s like his hands and legs are tied up to something. He then realized that Cathy wasn’t beside him nor behind him.
“Cathy!? Cathy!?! Where are you!?” Howl panicked and looked around.
[The blinding lights turned on…]
“Welcome!!” Someone shouted…
Howl then got his vision back and saw two covered hanged things in front of him. He was panicking, he couldn’t move. He doesn’t know what to do next. Howl started crying…
“Let me go!” Howl shouted…
[The cover then got removed, Howl saw his mother and Cathy with tape covered in the mouths]
“Choose wisely, boy. This is your Decision…” Dr. Kylo then revealed himself and grinned.
