Chapter 9: “End, or is it?”

Cathy then grabbed Howl and carried him, “Let’s get out of here, Howl!”

Cathy carried Howl and went to the exit for the laboratory. Cathy was happy and couldn’t wait to get out, this wicked, sick lab.
[ANNOUNCEMENT: Oh~ Cathyyyy~, you dare to escape from me? You children are so funny with your heroic acts. You see, in this world. It’s kill or be killed.]
Cathy taunted Dr. Kylo, “Oh yeah? Use your machines then, come. Try to harm us.”
- it worked.
Dr. Kylo tried to operate his machines but it didn’t work. Cathy smirked and ran with Howl on her back.
Howl’s mind went blank…
“You two, have an interesting relationship. Too bad, your lovey-dovey ends now. Oh! Slyth! I summon thee.” Dr. Kylo summoned Slyth. Slyth’s roots appeared on the floors and walls, she tried to get both of them, but it didn’t reach because the two were too far ahead.

{Friday, 4:20 AM}
“Come, Howl!” Cathy was getting tired,
Howl’s mind went blank…
|| Smack! ||
[Cathy slapped Howl on the face, for she is trying to make Howl snap out of it…]
[… but nothing happened]
Howl’s mind went blank…
“Howl!” Cathy hugs Howl. The two were on the roads, waiting for rescue but nobody came. Cathy knew that Slyth and Dr. Kylo couldn’t reach them, so she decided to shout for help, but nobody came…
[Howl stood up, going back to the laboratory.]
“Howl? Where do you think you’re going?” Cathy asked Howl if he’s bluffing.
Howl’s mind went blank…
-- “Howl?”
Howl continued walking, the sharp branches wounded Howl a bit more, but he couldn’t feel anything… it’s like he has given up life. –
“Howl?” Cathy grabbed Howl’s hand,
- “Let me go…” Howl responded.
- “Leave me alone…” Howl walked, away from Cathy.
“Howl! You do know that I am NOT! Letting you go.” Cathy shouted to Howl.
Howl’s mind went blank…
He’s back from the lab.
“Howl? It seems like you made the right choice.” Dr. Kylo grinned at Howl. Slyth then grabbed Howl by the waist and said. “Dear, you seem stressed out? Why not give up and take yourself in?” Slyth manipulated Howl.
- it worked.
Cathy followed Howl and went inside. She was in tears when Howl gave himself in, she kneeled.
“There’s nothing I can do…” Cathy cried.
Howl’s mind went blank…
Dr. Kylo turned his machines back on, and made the metal hands grab Howl, Howl doesn’t feel anything.

- until something came.
|| Boom! || explosions came on the roof and on the entrance,
“Nice to meet you again, Cathy” Poland the Elf came in for rescue, he poured hot flames on Slyth and burned her down. We can hear screams of agony when she was burning… Poland destroyed Dr. Kylo’s machines with his sharp elf dagger and threw it on Dr. Kylo’s head.
“Ace.” Poland hit it perfectly and said.
He then grabbed Howl and said “Cathy, let’s go! Before it’s too late. My bombs are going to destroy this sick place.” –
Poland saved Howl and Cathy, they went to Poland’s home and made Howl rest while Howl was resting Cathy was there beside him. Poland prepared elf medicine for healing wounds and applied it to Howl while he was resting, it was a good day for the three of them. The next day they made a burial for West, to congratulate his sacrifice on saving them all, without them this shouldn’t have happened…
“Thank you, West.” Cathy then said and dropped a white flower. “=)” Howl woke up with a smile…
