It has been a 15 months with Remus in chemo. Nine months left supposedly. The doctors say that he had declined but that even if we was to survive he would still have declined. He hasn't declined much, which is good. He now needs a walker and sometimes needs and inhaler but other than that life goes on. I have dropped out of school to be fully dedicated to Remus. Sirius and James got their acts together but even with there help it was still too much. I had to drop out.
"(Y/N) I have a question." Remus once asked on his bed.
"What is it?" I ask him. We were alone.
"Help me up?" Remus asks and I nod. I help him up to his feet and he gets on his walker and gets on a knee.
"What are you doing?" I ask him and he looks up at me. His blue eyes swimming like the ocean.
"(Your Full Name), will you marry me?" Remus asks and I am stunned. I close my eyes and shake my head.
"Remus, I, I don't know what to say." I say.
"A yes would suffice." Remus says and I smile as I help him back up.
"Yes, yes a thousand times over again." I say and he smiles broadly.
"This is the best day of my life." Remus says as he sits down on the bed and takes a few deep breaths,
"Don't get over excited, we have a lot of work ahead of us now.

----- 3 months later (6 months left)-------
"Do you, Remus John Lupin take (Y/N) to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do"
"And do you (Y/N) take Remus John Lupin to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do"
"You may kiss the groom."
Thats how the wedding was. There was no first dance, it was a small ceremony with very few people and right afterwards we went to the dorm room and Remus went to bed. All the excitement tired him out rather quickly. I sat on the couch and smiled up at the ceiling.
"You're married." Peter says as he walks in and I smile.
"I'm married," I say and he laughs.
"Don't act so shocked. Sirius, James and I have been betting on you two since the beginning of your relationship." Peter says and I laugh.
"Really?" I ask him and he nods his head,
"Yep speaking of which James owes me twenty bucks." Peter says and I laugh again. Today is the happiest i've been ever. Especially in recent times. I look down at my wedding ring and smile.
"Can you believe I married the hottest guy ever?" I ask as I look up at Peter.
"I wouldn't say hottest but sure, if thats what you think." Peter says with a small smile.
"Party boys are back." James says as he walks through the door. Sirius follows in quickly afterwards.
"Can you believe Remus married before me?" James asks.
"Yep, you took forever for Lily to even consider you as an option." Sirius says and we all laugh, Sirius and James a little to loud.
"Hey let's keep it down a little, Remus is asleep." I say and they all nod.
"I'm excited for my wedding, only got three months to go before mine." James says and I smile.
"Remus and I will definitely be attending." I say and James smiles.
"I'll text Lily that." James says.
"Let her know I'm coming too." Peter says from behind the counter.
"Are you already beginning to cook?" Sirius asks and Peter nods.
"Making brownies," He says and we all gasp. Peter never makes sweets and when he does they are the best.
"Whats the occasion?" I ask.
"You just got married, do I need another reason?" Peter asks and I shrug.
"Is there another reason?" Sirius asks.
"One other thing, but that will be apart of the meal." Peter says as we wait patiently for the brownies. Once out we begin to talk and eat them. They were perfect. Anything Peter makes always goes down well. Unless you're Remus after chemo, but then again nothing would go down right for Remus after chemo. I begin to grow sad as I realize how little time I'll have left with him.
"So what is this big thing you made brownies for?" James asks as he eats his brownie.
"I wanted to say I identify as asexual." Peter says and we all nod.
"Anything else?" Sirius asks.
"Thats it, no congrats?" Peter asks.
"Peter, you've thought sex was weird since the beginning, I guess we kinda just assumed." James says and I laugh,
"It wasn't super obvious but after knowing you for almost two years it became obvious. Especially considering that these tow make sex jokes as often as they can." I say and he nods.
"I guess so." Peter says as I take the last brownie. I get up from the table and grab a napkin.
"Where are you headed?" Sirius asks me.
"Giving this to Remus." I say as I push in my chair and leave. I head to our room and open the door. Everything seemed so peaceful and quiet. As I walk in Remus is reading a book.
"Hello," Remus says as I enter and I smile.
"I thought you would be asleep." I say and he shrugs.
"I got my energy back. Only needed a little nap." Remus says and I nod my head.
"We had a little party without you, you should have joined us." I say and he shrugs.
"Didn't have that much energy." He says and I nod my head.
"Well I saved you one of Peter's brownies." I say as I pass the brownie over to him and he smiles as he unwraps it.
"Thanks," Remus says.
"And you know, Peter identifies as asexual now." I say and Remus nods.
"Makes sense." He says and I nod my head.
"Can I get in the covers with you?" I ask as my phone rings.
"You should get that first." Remus says.
"Its the doctor, i'll be right back." I say as I pick up the phone and head into the hallway.
"Hello is this Mr (Y/N)?" The women asks on the other end of the line.
"Yes thats me, does this have to do with Remus Lupin?" I ask and the lady says yes. She then goes on to explain that in the recent blood test that Remus had gotten worse, not significantly to where we should be alarmed but still it's worse.
