And on we go. We soldier on, pushing forward into the unknown. It is not a lack of fear that compels us. Nor is it the drive of hate, or an intriguing curiosity. It is perhaps the last thing one would expect to inspire us: Monotony. The monotonous would - and could - kill. And if we were to become complacent, we would slip into its grasp. We would become the soldiers of war, or the puppets of corporations, or governmental pawns. Or we'd become the martyrs of the people.
So we soldier on. And on we go. And on, and on...
