I sink my hands into the ash. It's cool by now. None of the heat that ravaged this place remains. All is ash and dust, and I'm already struggling to hold onto the memories of what this place once was. How many years since the fire came, how long since the screams were choked out in smoke? I could no longer remember. It was like trying to catch a ghost. I couldn't keep doing this. There was nowhere else to go, though. Nowhere else I could call home. So I clench my hands, feeling the ash crumble between my fingers.468Please respect copyright.PENANAD8u2hKHevx
