Vasil surprised says "I believed that you would agree on starving them, it's our only option right now" "they may have reinforcements on their way, regroup all the soldiers" "and what if reinforcements do not come?" "They will come, that's why we must take the castle back, regroup them now"

The soldiers speard in all side, Klaeben and the others follow the general, as they approach they see holes all over the ground, archers show up and the man starts firing his canon, the general and the others go inside one of the holes, the horses slow down and arrows start falling on them, they jump from the horses hearing the arrows piercing thekr skin, arros continue to fall and everyone place their shields, suddenly they hear the wind whistling, the general shouts "move" they take their shields and follow him, dodging the arrows, Klaeben look for a glimpse at the tower and sees lighting strucking it, the arrows stop for a while and the general and the others reach the wall, a lighting struck beside them and opens a hole in the wall, Lixin look inside and sees soldier running on the stairs of the wall, more come running to the cracks and enter inside and as they enter Klaeben use the preaka and twist the stairs making soldiers fall to their death, sweat comes from his forehead and continues, Anjian and the others use bows and kill the soldoers on the wall.

Lixin and the others move inside the houses, opening the doors and quickly killing whoever soldier they see, along with some men and women killed because the fear of resistance, making Ai drop a tear.
from the cobble road upwards they see more soldiers and they kill them, they continue towards the castle hearing the man laughing and the sound of explosions and screams.
Vasil and Grega's soldiers show from behind them and as they walk they see lines of men with their shields up protecting the road, from behind they hear Vasil and the others charging, Lixin shouts "wait" Vasil and the others stop and raise their shields as arrows start fly to the sky, Lixin says "Vasil, don't you remember what happened at the village? They sure have placed a trap by a matra" "you are right, we will be more careful, tell your soldier to use the preaka to build a wall along with the others from the right side, Lixin shouts Klaeben start building a wall, Klaeben look infront of him and two wall opposite to one another getting build, he help along with the other preaka and the enemy spldiers try to put the stones down, Klaeben sweat starts flowing he rebuilds it again only for the enemy to destroy it but he rebuilds it again, and many at the enemy lines fall to their knees, with Klaeben standing with his breath becoming heavy, Vasil says "Lixin you and your soldiers pass the lines through the houses" Lixin nods his head and the Grega soldiers pass inside the walls with small explosions happening outaide only making the walls tremble.
They push through the enemy lines, creating a gap close to the houses for the general and others to pass and going inside the castle, opening the doors and seeing soldiers guarding the place, they move killing many men and women and going up the stairs, They open another door and from the corner they hear strong sounds of bricks.
The general walks first with Klaeben following centimeters behind him, the general place his sword forward and slowly look at the corner, he gasps and stands still, the others look at the other side of the corner seeing a woman with lumps all over her body and tree veins coming from her open wounds where the organs are shown as she bangs her head against the walls with force, having her one eyeball cut in half and the other extending out with the veins keeping it intact, Ai slowly place her hand on the shoulder of the women, feeling the veins of the tree that run on the woman's body.

Lixin runs to stops him and an explosion happens in front of him and as the dust rise he sees the man on the wall holding his cannon high, Lixin look at him and the man shoots again and again, Lixin's eyes wide open and Infront of him a wall appears, Lixin is thrown back and Klaeben takes heavy breaths and they go inside and run with the man shooting again and again at the door and roof crumbling and falling as his laugh pierce everyone's ears.
The group reach the lower levels of the castle and Klaeben shouts "we must kill him" Lixin says swiftly "we will, Anjian and Swaiwan try to find Konstantin, the rest follow me" the others follow and they go outside looking at the walls and the Grega soldiers trying to kill the man only to burn.

Klaeben feels his heart skipping beats, the wall beside him gets destroyed and dust rise all over, he slowly rise his head and sees the man descending from the other side firing with his cannon at a division and leaving

Klaeben walks outside shutting the door with force, taking a deep breath and walking at the stone roads of the castle, looking at the tall grey half fallen walls and the Grega soldiers placing bricks at the holes at the fallen parts of the wall, Klaeben then look beside him seeing two Grega soldiers looking at him and making a small bow, Klaeben look at them with his eyes looking with wonder along with his heart skipping a beat, he continues walking a bit faster, looking at the stone and wooden houses, some houses having two and three rooms above them along with paintings of a woman and people facing her and walking on the wheat and nature, he continues and goes towards one of of the house walking toward the door seeing from the window Fenhua playing his flute, he almost open the door before hearing the soft deep breaths of Ai, he turn his look at the right seeing her red cheeks through the darkness and above a black blanket, Klaeben goes beside her and sits "why don't you come inside?" Ai dart and look at him with her eyes opening before they almost close

The soldiers raise their arms and Klaeben walks in front of them, their eyes open wide and speak on their language and make a small bow and leave, Klaeben look at them first with wrath and then with wonder "what was that reaction?" Ai help the man get up man and then he bow to them and Ai says "they must be soldiers that survive the fight at the village" Fenhua hits lightly Klaeben on his back "congrats, you are now famous at Grega" Klaeben look at him with a neutral face.

Eirana and Ai strode to the hill and Eirana face looking more worried with her fingers moving up and down,she look at one of the men, far younger than her, she stops her fingers and kneel and place her hands on the face of her brother "papyrus please, leave your devotion to king Konstantin and come with me" papyrus spit at the face of Eirana "you speak about reunion when you killed half our family with your father?" Eirana gasp "I didn't had a choice" papyrus shake his whole body, the shackles cling and his wrists start bleeding, painting the right side of the shackles, Eirana shout "they were ready to kill us"
Papyrus says nothing and shake his body.

Klaeben and Fenhua sit on the right side of the wall, watching the Grega soldiers pulling the chains of the prisoners, making them fall and kicking them until they get up Klaeben look at them with a glooming face and then Fenhua looking at the prisoners and continue walking.

Klaeben and Lixin stare at each other with threatening eyes, Anjian close her eyes and moves them away and Ai says "Klaeben we have to agree with the general, this man is dangerous and he may already have another plan"
"Ai they are going to die in this place, if we hunt them in the frozen lands we may die there or worse find him alive" Ai's eyes fall to the ground, the general says "they will either die at the battle or from the disease" "you cannot be sure about it" Lixin turns his back and walks at the door "I'm going to speak with Vasil, until then enjoy your stay here for a little longer" the general close the door and Klaeben says "he is following his hate" Fenhua says with a bright voice "on the plus side at least we will reincarnate again"

Ai and Klaeben leave saying nothing and Fenhua follows behind them and takes another path at the thin alleys of the town, Ai and Klaeben walk with their eyes pulled closer, saying nothing and focusing on their thoughts and before they realize they reach the house, they go inside seeing Anjian laying on her bed, Swaiwan writing and Fenhua sitting with his eyes almost closed looking at the floor.
Ai steps in the middle and says "guys please listen to me" Fenhua lift his eyes from the ground while Swaiwan and Anjian continue what they were doing "I will talk even if you don't listen to me, I know we are in a difficult position nut we shouldn't let it come to us"

"Swaiwam nobody forced you to come, you can leave anytime" Swaiwan grit his teeth and continues to write, Anjian turn around and stare at them, Fenhua says "maybe deep inside he wants to stay here" Swaiwan close his book making a loud noise and he shouts "im so tired of this voice, your humor and your terrible jokes, why don't you shut up and never talk again?" Fenhua's heart skips a beat, he close his eyes and as they open he leans forward "you just don't have a taste of humor" Anjian turn and face them again with her back, Swaiwan sigh and lean back and open his notebook "it's useless, you are an idiot" Fenhua face becomes pale and he leans back, Ai takes a deep breath and continues "Swaiwan please, we can't continue if we argue all the time" "we shouldn't be here in the first place" a silence surround the room and Swaiwan breaks it
"but even though, I don't know why but even as much as I hate some of you I want to be here" Swaiwan rise and walks outside with Anjian doing the same, Fenhua lean on his bed and the other do the same.
Ai falls asleep with Klaeben hugging her tight, hearing his breath over her ear.
In the morning they go outside carrying weapons and food, watching the remaining people of the town with their clothes filled with dirt and ashes watching them with their heads down and others raising their arms and shouting "Grega" Ai and Klaeben move forward talking while Fenhua open his mouth and Swaiwan take his look away and continues
They meet with the rest and they see the lines expanding for meters, Lixin and starts mounting with a cokd face
