The next morning.
"Where did you discover the body?" a tall, fat policeman asked another officer.
The two of them, along with a forensic expert, were standing in the lab where corpses are analyzed.
A teenage boy's muscular dead body laid in front of the three of them on a long table.
"Today morning on the front yard of someone's house, Sir." The other policeman replied.
The fat cop turned the forensic guy. "What's your report, Dr. Stanley?"
The specialist adjusted his goggles and stared at the dead body.
"It appears he was bitten."
"Bitten?"
"Yes, Chief Jeremy. Look at the neck."
The Chief and his subordinate did as the doctor told them. A large cut was visible on the victim's neck.
"I've never seen this kind of bite mark before." Chief Jeremy stated with his eyes opening in disbelief.
"I have, Sir." The other police officer said.
"Where Frederick?" Jeremy asked.
"When I was off to Raven City for a special assignment. A similar bite on a teenage boy's neck."
Frederick came closer to the victim's neck. "Yes. Exactly the same."
"I've read about two other victims with the same bite pattern. But they were attacked in different countries." Stanley told them.
"What the hell!?" the Chief exclaimed.
"Specialists say there's some kind of animal doing this."
A female police officer entered the lab with a paper on a clipboard in her hands. "This is a full report of the crime scene, Boss." She said handing it to Chief Jeremy.
The Chief read it then turned to Dr. Stanley. "We'll visit you later, Doctor."
