"This is not the place for women! Go home!"
I was taken aback at those words that meant for Griselda and me. The one who said it was the spiky red-haired boy in front of me. He just said that out of blue when I entered the classroom followed by Griselda. It was still morning, but he was already annoyingly rude. I did not even know his name and not even interested in knowing.
By the way, we got a military code class on the first session. Some kind of morse code or special codes used in this kingdom's army, I assumed. Well, it could not be worse than a certain coding class that I knew in university.
About the thing that spiky hair said, I agree. My thought exactly. Why would they send women to a military academy? Did they also send them to the war? That was quite absurd in my opinion since I did not remember there were women in the army back in my world. I even heard that women and children should be prioritized to safety during a war. There were many pretty policewomen, though. However, I was not sure about the rules in this game world, so I decided to just ignore him.
I just took a glance at him once and then passed him without saying anything. Then, I sat on the back row's seat. On the other hand, Griselda smiled at him and gave a proper greeting. While he was about to explode in anger with me ignoring him, he became red from shame with Griselda's reaction. He probably realized that he was just making fool of himself. As expected from Griselda. She should just replace Clarissa Edelrose, or rather, me and became the heroine.
The first section, military code class, and the second section, geography, were done inside the classroom since they were theories. After lunch, there would be another two sections. I was quite looking forward to the sections after lunch since we would be doing martial arts training.
I learned martial arts since I was small. My grandfather insisted that he would train me so I could protect myself since Gilbert was not quite reliable. Training with him was so much fun and I grew to love martial arts. After he passed away, I still continued to learn some martial arts in school and from videos.
Of course, this world never ceased to surprise me since during the martial arts class, we were told to spar on our first meeting. Also, my opponent was not even from the same gender. Not just me, every girl here did not spar with another girl. Well, I guess that was fair since in the real fight we would most likely face men.
My opponent was the same spiky boy from this morning. He looked rather cocky when he knew his opponent would be me. He even tried to provoke me while grinning.
"Hmph! I will wipe that smile off your face!"
Or so he said. He did not do a good job provoking me. I did not even want to respond to him. In return, I wiped the floor with him. He looked surprised that I managed to defeat him in just split second. I needed to thank my deceased grandfather for teaching me martial arts since I could shut this boy up.
"I thought you are going to wipe off my smile? I am not even smiling, though."
