Gregory heard the shotgun shot from inside the bar and told everyone in an authoritive voice to remain inside and keep their heads down. He then flashed his badge to the bar patrons, he was a Private Investigator hired by the ABA and held authority in the town's limits. Everyone complied to him, since refusing to abide by an ABA official's position of authority would make a person's life much more dificult in the outskirts. They held a monopoly on all resources in most outskirt towns. All ABA brokers and bodyguards would be condemned from trading with these individuals who wouldn't comply. Gregory then pulled out his small laser pistol, placed a fresh energy cell within it, and carefully left the bar. Gregory assessed the situation and realized that the threat had been taken care of, but James left the scene of the crime without even attempting to cover his tracks. Gregory began making a field report but was interupted by a tall thin man wearing a black suit that was unbuttoned. He was kneeling down taking pictures of the crime scene. Gregory told him that this was none of his concern but then the man smiled and said "Oh, I believe it is". He then pulled out a badge authorized by the ABA as well. Gregory raised a brow and asked him what his name was, to which he replied that wasn't important. He then said if he must call him something to call him Crow. Greg then rolled his eyes at Crow. Who did this guy think he was, he didn't seem anything special. "I don't know who your trying to fool but I'm working this case. The ABA would never allow two investigators to work on the same case". Crow then smiled and replied "Oh we aren't working the same case you see... your investigating the murders within this District correct?". Crow then took yet another picture on the camera he was carrying. Gregory then replied "What's your point". The man then stood up, tilted his head and smiled that same hallowed smile he always seemed to wear. "I'm investigating you; investigating the murders within the District". Greg then lost all color in his face for a moment and hesitated for a moment to respond. To which Crow took a picture of before Gregory had a chance to recompose himself. "Interesting theory, who is backing it though?". Crow then responded "You are... right when you hesitated in responding to me".
