Dog's best friend
Richard took out the robotic beetle that he had and activated it before throwing it underneath one of the aisles of the stadium. He then spoke to Kyrarra through his mind and told her to have the robot focus on eating the support beams on the aisles and replicating itself with the metal ingested. Richard knew he had the ability stop this atrocity but he needed time to do it correctly. The dogs were released and Richard was helpless but to watch the fighting for a little while. The cybernetic German Shepard ran out of its cage first, looking around ferociously at everything surrounding him. The other dog was more reluctant to leave its cage, as if knowing if he did, he'd be forced to fight again. The dog's cage was shocked remotely to force him out onto the battlefield. Richard's heart went out for the Rottweiler, he knew what it felt like to be forced into a life he wanted nothing to do with. The Arian Rottweiler walked out of his cage with pleading eyes, as if asking what he did wrong to deserve this. Soon after the German Shepard took note of the other dog and began to charge full force.688Please respect copyright.PENANAUGzeZQp6ji
Kyrarra notified Richard that the beetles had mass replicated to the point of there being about thirty of them and almost half of the aisles support beams around the arena were being held up by almost nothing. Richard's beetles were built for this sole purpose; to eat and create things from the ingested material. The German Shepard charged with mouth agape trying to snap at the Rottweiler. The other dog evaded the attacks but the cybernetic beast was lost in its rage, continuing to snap at the dog from the east over and over. The Rottweiler got the first strike, after evading for some time he latched down onto the robotic dog's neck. The German Shepard must of had a defense mechanism built into his cybernetic parts of his body because huge amounts of electricity flowed through the area. Arcing against the cage of the arena, Richard wondered how either dog could survive such a large amount of electrical current surge through there body. The Rottweiler didn't even to seem effected though. He just got a better grip of the other dog's neck, twisted his body hard, and flung the other dog to the other side of the arena like a Frisbee. The electrical surge stopped as soon as the other dog let go. The robotic dog got right back up after rolling across the hard ground two or three times. Richard took note of the dog's neck, the metal plating that he had now had large puncture holes from the other dog's bite. Having a strong enough bite to cause damage like that, if he really wanted two he could of killed the German Shepard right then and there. Richard could tell though, the dog didn't want to kill anymore; he just wanted to be left alone. Kyrarra told Richard that everything is ready once he's given the word. Richard thought out loud "Do it Kyrarra" and as soon as he granted permission the hundreds of robotic beetles he now had gnawed the last bit that was holding the aisles up. 688Please respect copyright.PENANADl0QSZzFPf
The rows started to shift and fall one by one, the sound of the steel straining against steel filled the stadium. This created a panic amoungst the gamblers and patrons and they started to scream and scramble to the exit, amoungst this chaos Richard knew that now was the time to take advantage of the situation. He donned his goggles and emptied eight one inch solid steel spheres from his shoulder gun holster's ammo pouch. He took Larentz out of his holster and loaded the spheres one by one. Richard thought to Kyrarra to link up with Lorentz, he is going to switch between power settings on the go. Once Kyrarra acknowledged his orders Richard aimed his weapon at the cage and thought "pull", then Kyrarra forced Lorentz to focus it's magnetic field potential just at the steel battling cage. The metal was ripped from the ground as if made of paper and begun hurling itself toward Richard. Kyrarra then said "Warning master Charles, I've detected a camera within the vicinity" and Kyrarra used Richard's goggles to automatically zoom in on the camera at the far side of the room so he could see what she sees. Richard then aimed his revolver at the camera and thought "push". Then the gun automatically reversed its magnetic polarity very strongly and abruptly, causing the large metal cage to be thrown from Richard into the camera. It smashed into it with a huge amount of force and fell to the ground. Richard looked at the dogs in the arena and saw the German Shepard have the Rottweiler by the top of his neck. He didn't want to kill either of the dogs but he realized he had to get the dog's attention to get him to let go.688Please respect copyright.PENANAA8Cqo1NUvN
Richard started motioning toward the cage on the opposite side of the room so he could get a head start once he got the cyber dogs attention. He thought to Kyrarra "Kyrarra have the beetles begin making robotic spiders" to which Kyrarra acknowledged his order. Richard really wished he had brought some with him, he designed them for just this situation. He built them for spy applications and had them store nano machines within there abdomen, which can be used to repair mechanical issues or control a hostile robot. Richard then aimed at the dog and thought "non-lethal target areas" to which Kyrarra linked with his goggles and highlighted the areas on the German Shepard's body that would most likely not be lethal once struck. Richard then thought "weak shot", aimed Lorentz at the dog, and shot two of the two inch spheres. One at the dog's neck metallic plate and the other at the dog's jaw. They both hit accurately, dinging the metal bending it slightly inwards upon impact but not breaking through the dog's armor. The shot at the jaw forced the cybernetic dog to let the Rottweiler go, once he did the Rottweiler slammed his head hard into the other dog, pushing him away. The Rottweiler then used the opportunity to escape. Keeping his head low and his tail tucked, he ran over to one of the fallen aisles and hid amoungst the wreckage. Richard was happy to see the dogs stop fighting but knew he had to worry about his own safety now. The German Shepard made eye contact with Richard and began to snarl and growl. Richard then made a sprint to the cage, but the dog was quick on the chase.688Please respect copyright.PENANAyoYxisu7lh
Just before Richard got to the cage the dog grabbed his lower leg and bit down hard. Richard screamed in pain as the dog then created a potent taser effect, surging electricity through Richard's body. Richard knew this was bad and it took all of his willpower and muscle control to fight the convulsions as the electricity surged through him. He kick the dog directly at it's nose, forcing the dog to let go for a moment. Richard took full advantage of that moment, as he crawled under the broken cage and stretched out the fence so the dog couldn't fit through the crawl space. The German Shepard lunged at the cage over and over again, each time contorting the cage more and more with a prominent indentation to get to Richard. Richard took the opportunity to gather his barrings and said "Kyrarra status report". Kyrarra then spoke into Richard's headphones "Master Charles you have six available shots and have eighty two percent charge with Lorentz's available power reserves. The injury to your leg has caused some peripheral nerve damage, you may not be be able to feel your leg for some time. Keep in mind that quick or precise movements are not possible for the next couple of hours. The puncture holes on the lower portion of your calf had cauterized shut due to the amount of electrical current that the capitol police dog had pushed through you. You are lucky you are not bleeding Master Charles." Richard smirked a bit and thought out loud in a sarcastic tone of voice "Yeah, aren't I lucky". Richard looked up to see that the dog had pushed the fence through the wall of the building and was getting closer and closer to Richard. He looked over to the crowd which was still exiting the building in a frenzy. Almost three fourths of the crowd had evacuated the arena. Richard knew he was going to have to end this quickly because that door was the only entrance and exit to the arena. Once they had evacuated the people running the dog fighting arena were going to want to come in and take out Richard for stopping their cash flow and wrecking there arena.688Please respect copyright.PENANAcfNVsUK0G1
Richard bides his time with the cybernetic animal, he could just shoot it in the head with a powerful shot and be done with it. Richard refused to do it though, he couldn't bring himself to kill the dog; it was just against his nature. The German Shepard though had found a chink in the cage's armor as a hole had finally revealed itself to him from his onslaught of attacks. Richard wanted to do something but couldn't, the dog had contorted the cage to the point of effectively eliminating his movement to escape. The German Shepard forced his head through the hole and started snapping at Richard, it was all Richard could do to just push the dog back through the fence to keep him inches away from the biting distance it needed to reach Richard's face. Then a miracle happened Kyrarra spoke through Richard's headphones "Master Charles, your robots are ready" This was music to Richard's ears and he yelled out to Kyrarra "Activate them!". Richard then pressed Lorentz up against the fence and thought "push". For a moment the metal strained from being embedded deep into the walls of the underground building but it gave away quickly enough. It turned the fence into a missile and flung the fence and the dog across to the opposite side of the room. The dog jumped off the cage though before being pushed into a wall, once it landed it started running back to Richard with teeth bare. Richard scrambled to his feet and tried to run and flank the dog but it was to no avail, his leg was still too numb to do something like that. He caught himself from falling and used his goggles to see electronic signatures within the room. He then aimed Lorentz and thought "pull" as he sweeped across the room magnetically attracting upwards to a hundred robotic spiders. He then aimed it at the dog who was now mid lunge and had it's sights on Richard's neck.688Please respect copyright.PENANAM0m1o6FOVW
Richard aimed his gun just in time at the dog, thought "push", and dived to the floor. The dog was mere inches from grabbing hold of Richard. But since the dog's body was no longer responding to it's commands; it landed against the wall hard. The spiders were quick to get to work, the sound of many microscopic drills could be heard from them as they pierced the dog's cybernetic plating and pumped it's nano machines into the dog. The dog couldn't get his limbs to respond to his commands any longer and it was causing the already enraged dog to go into a frenzy. As the nano machines transmitted the schematics of the dog to Richard's goggles he began to sympathize with the animal more. The cybernetic components of the dog's mind was in control of it's endocrine system and was forcing the dog to produce unbelievable amount of adrenaline. This poor dog was in a constant state of fight or flight, which was leading to his aggressive nature. Richard then stopped the cybernetic components remotely with Kyrarra that were forcing it to create all that adrenaline to a stop. The dog just layed there as his snarls and growls stopped and his heavy labored breathing started to grow more shallow. The dog started to whine, now realizing all the pain it was in from the life it was forced to live until now. The adrenaline was numbing the German Shepard and Richard's heart went out for the animal. He used the nano machines to repair the dog's cybernetic components, but it was all Richard had the ability to do. He couldn't help the dog with the injuries to his flesh, Richard just hoped that what he did was enough.
