Voices in My Headset
Debbie tapped the furthest button on the back of her left ear's headphone cover. In a moment it closed out her hologram projection that she was using to hack into the train station departure schedules. Unlike her partner, Debbie dressed much more casually than Phil. She had long black hair and donned a pair of lime green high tech headphones which was her main tool of the trade. She wore a forest green hooded jacket and a set of comfortable clothing. She took out an electronic cigarette from her jacket's front pocket and began smoking it.760Please respect copyright.PENANAxO1sPEjT2o
"Suppose it's that time" she mumbled to herself as she stretched her limbs in her seat. Debbie sat in the back of the passenger cars to make the job easier on herself. She casually walked back to the end of the car and bypassed the electronic lock by overloading the processors. Debbie looked down at the railway coupling connecting the train cars together. "Good thing you had me do this now, it'd be a bother if I had to walk over this while moving" Debbie said over her headphones, which doubled as her communicator. Phil then mentioned that was the reason why he asked her to do so now, it was to ensure her safety.
Debbie opened her mouth, as if she was going to say something, but then stopped herself. She had to jump back a bit and peek behind the door. Phil was worried by the silence and asked what was wrong. "Not all your boys are out getting drunk like you thought". Debbie watched the officer walking around the train. He seemed to be taking notes of something. Phil asked whether or not the officer was boarding the train. Debbie watched the officer carefully, "No, seems to be making his final runs to ensure everything is in working order. As soon as numb nuts passes I'm gonna hop over to the cargo". Phil didn't respond to that, which usually means that he's in agreement of what Debbie thinks. Fucker can at least pretend to be worried about me Debbie thought.
As the guard walked on past her line of vision she took the opportunity to get over. That car's door also had a lock but it was no match for Debbie's skill set. When she got inside she threw some luggage in front of the door on the inside to keep it from being ajar. Debbie let Phil know that she was in position and Phil told her to wait to look for the case. He told her that in a few minutes that they will be heading out of port anyways. Debbie was not a patient woman though "Why not beat feet now, we got what we came for". Phil then started stating the obvious "We got this far under the radar, the last thing we want to do is draw attention."
Debbie hated it but knew that Phil was right. She responded with a sharp exhale and knew she could do nothing but wait. So she spent the time listening to music and smoking her cigarette. When she heard Phil's voice finally broadcast out of the speakers throughout the train cars she knew it was time to spring everything into motion. "Everyone please take your seat we are about to leave the station. If there is anything you need please direct it to the car's attendant." Debbie wasted no time, when she felt the train go into motion so did she. She was scouring the train car up and down. But it was to no avail it wasn't here, then she realized it must be in one of the other cargo cars. She quickly ran over to the end of the car and looked through the window to the outside.760Please respect copyright.PENANA00ShyQzpZ3

When she saw it was clear, she opened the door and hopped over to the next car. A husky man came running up to the train yelling for them to stop. Moments after closing the door behind her to the next car she told Phil they had an issue. "Whats wrong" Phil asked. Debbie then explained to Phil that she saw the conductor trying to catch up to the train. Phil then asked if he saw Debbie and she assured him he didn't. Phil told her that now that they are in motion by the time the conductor goes through the proper authorities and explains the situation they'd be long gone.
Debbie understood that the plan didn't change but there was now a greater need to find the case before the train reaches the next district. She sifted through the luggage and eventually came across a large metallic case that was buried under some of the other passenger's luggage to obscure it. The large box was much bigger then they previously thought to look for. Debbie looked around the case just to be sure, just like Phil mentioned; it had the numbers 159-001 on the lower left of it that served as an identification number.
How'd they even get it in here Debbie thought. Oh well, guess this just means I'm going to have to crack the overly large case right here and now. Otherwise this mission is going to get a lot more complicated. She went to overcharge the lock but then realized that the lock on the metallic structure is designed to explode upon being tampered with. Well that explains why this over enlarged chest is so encumbering, it's laced with explosives. "Phil I found the case but its going to take some time to get open."
Phil understood but reminded her the longer they stay on this train the lower the chances are of escaping undetected. Debbie snipped at Phil and told him she's well aware of the outcome if they fail. She didn't have time to let Phil get her flustered. She focused on the task at hand as she took out a small wire from her right headphone cover and linked it into a small side port on the metallic case, the port was meant for the case's lock mechanism in case the owner wished to change the set code on it at anytime, funny how the very port meant to make the package more safe was going to be it's downfall.
It brought up a hologram screen in front of Debbie and she pushed a button on the side of her headphones which brought up a numeric analyzer application. All she had to do now was wait for the numeric analyzer to eventually find the code and open the case. It was a slow going process but ultimately the safest way. After what seemed like forever, the analyzer eventually hit its mark and a distinct click sound could be heard by Debbie. She closed out all projected screens with the quick wave of her hand and opened the case.
She was shocked to see what she saw. What was inside the case was a robot that was built to look like that of a young woman. She recognized the model; it was a robot designed to be played with by grown men. Debbie then starting stringing a sentence with enough curse words to make a sailor blush. "Whats wrong; Debbie are you all right?" Phil asked, worry stricken in his voice. Debbie was frustrated though "We messed up Phil! The thing in the case is a damned whore-bot". Phil was puzzled by this since it didn't make any sense, he was told by a high ranking official that this was the case. He worked with that man in the past, the information he provided was always correct.
There was a long period of silence and Debbie was beginning to wonder if she had lost connection with Phil. "Turn it on" Phil finally said. Debbie was about to yell at Phil but he interrupted her "Listen to me, why would there be security detail hired to ensure the safety of a case containing a run of the mill robot. It doesn't make sense. I'm banking that the robot has something on it's software that is important. We can waste time to take it apart but I wouldn't be surprised if there are built in safeguards. Just turn it on and find out". Debbie sighed and agreed reluctantly to do as Phil had asked. When she sprawled out the robot to get a good look at her she couldn't help but acknowledge the engineers craftsmanship who built her.
She had long dark blue hair and many strands of wires that glowed fluorescent blue that were strategically placed in her hair to give her a bit of highlight. Her body was petite for a robot but that was expected since this model wasn't designed for heavy labor. She was clothed with a basic white tee shirt and a pair of jeans. Debbie couldn't help but wonder why they'd bother to clothe a robot that, for the most part, isn't going to be wearing much of anything for her owners. She looked all over the robot to find the on switch but couldn't. "Of course they wouldn't provide a freaking manual huh?" Debble complained out loud. Debbie realized that all that was really needed though was the information. Debbie made use of headphones, she could attempt to use sound beta waves to imprint the information the robot was carrying directly into her memory. She took the wire out of her right headphone cover and linked it up to the port on the back of the robot's neck.
For a time; things were going well. The noise was deafening but bearable. But then something transpired and everything changed in a moment, the sound was becoming much more obscur and pain wrenching. She felt as though she was going to become physically ill from all the information being forced into her sub-conscious. Hologram windows began popping up one after another in front of Debbie which held various schamatics and lines of code Debbie couldn't understand. She looked down at the robot and to her surprise the robot's blue eyes were open and looking at her. Since Debbie and the robot were connected she could hear a combination of small connecting parts work within the robot, the sound that stuck out the most to her though was the subtle focusing lens movements within the robot's eyes. The robot was paying very close attention to Debbie, staring at her with an emotionless expression
The pain and side effects of Debbie's condition was compounding on itself extraordinarily. Debbie knew she had to do something and fast. She then removed her headphones but paid a toll in doing so, removing it in the middle of playing back data was hard on Debbie's mind. Her whole body fell to the floor and she began to convulse from a seizure. Eventually she passed out and began to breathe once again.
