(Taehyung POV)
"Yaah! are you.....trying...to....uugh kill me?" I said choking while struggling to hold Jimin's weight on the surface of my back. I stretch my arms out to the sides so I can feel the tug on the back of my back muscles
"Haha, taehyungshii...are you less flexible now?" He said laughing while pressing the surface of my back further with his two palms.
"Aarrgh...." I winced when I felt my leg and back muscles that felt like they were being pulled hard. Warming up before choreography practice is a must to prevent muscle injury and jimin has always been my stretching partner, but it seems like this time jimin suddenly went extra and decided to suddenly torture me.
"So... how's your mixtape? got some inspiration last night?" Jimin finally pulled my back back into an upright position.
I winced at the question then turned to him.
"Hmm, I tried to... but last night I just couldn't focus.." I mumbled while wetting my lips.
Last night I did plan to start writing lyrics for my own Mixtape project which I actually wanted to launch this year. But ironically, my mind was fully awake for 3 hours thinking about something else...
I glanced to the right slowly and found Lily sitting and chatting casually with Jk. Even though she seemed preoccupied with the paper in front of her, her body language seemed comfortable and Jk didn't seem to take his eyes off the long-haired girl at all.
I press my jaw slowly
"I like Lily, hyung...."
The words that came out of Jk's mouth flashed through my mind again. The sentence that finally haunted my mind since last night.
Aargh, why Lily?
There are so many girls who clearly like Jk but why he choose Lily?
"Hmm, what happened last night? Having trouble sleeping again?" Jimin raised an eyebrow. His soft voice interrupted my thoughts.
I sighed softly at him
"Uh um...as usual..."
Son Hyung suddenly clapped his hands hard, bringing our attentions back to the center of the room.
I slowly got to my feet followed by jimin behind me and started to form a dance blocking format.
I glanced at Jk who was still teasing Lily, now he seemed to be laughing at her who pursed her lips at him.
It seems that Jk also noticed that Lily looks more adorable when she is angry.
Oh damn. That strange feeling reappeared in my chest.
"Jeykeeeey cmone!" Hobi exclaimed while grinning widely, making Jk finally rushed to the center of the room.
I breathed a sigh of relief then slowly glanced at Lily who was focused back on the paper in front of her. She looked cute today in denim short overalls that showed off her smooth legs. A pair of white sneakers seemed to wrap around the soles of her feet.
My eyes slowly traced her body,
The plain white t-shirt that perfectly wrapped around her body made me press my jaw hard.
Lily suddenly lifted her face and our eyes met. She smiled sweetly at me, sending a small spike in my chest.
Damn, did she notice that i stare at her?
"Shh... concentrate.." jimin suddenly whispered into my ear while smiling mischievously making me glare at him.
Today we will repeat some choreography in preparation for our virtual concert which will be held in 2 months. Nervousness often strikes me because this kind of thing is completely new to all of us.
Due to the pandemic, some offline concerts have had to be postponed and this is one of the ways we have thought of to still be able to satisfy the wishes of the Army.
Yes, that's why I have to focus and try my best.
Music starts to echo throughout the room and Son Hyung starts giving his instructions.

"Good job, guys!" Son Hyung clapped loudly and was greeted by the cheers of everyone who looked exhausted.
It has been 3 hours since the first song was played and my energy was drained, sweat seemed to wet my face profusely. Seriously, Today's training was really intense.
"Wow daebak! What an amazing session today..." Lily shook her head admiringly at me while handing me a glass of cold water.
I smiled contentedly at her then took the glass from her hand and took a sip of its contents.
"We're trying our best. Did you like it?" I asked her gently.
Her round eyes shone at me and she looked very excited.
"Are you kidding me?? I love it!" She said smiling broadly.
I chuckled lightly realizing how adorable the dimple that appeared on her cheeks when she smiled.
"It feels almost the same as the first time watching you guys at a concert.." she continued again with the same twinkle in her eyes
"Mwo? You’ve watched our concert? When?" I asked a little surprised.
She laughed lightly while hugging her waist
"Um... 3 years ago... the WINGS tour in Gocheok Skydome. I went with my friends. You guys were so amazing and It was so much fun.." she blushed.
I stared at her.
"I don't think we met back then?" I guessed
Lily chuckled
"I don't think so... you won't even notice me among 16.000 girls that were there.." she said confidently.
I grin
You are totally wrong, Lily... i'm really good at remembering faces. Especially the face of a girl who really caught my attention.
Lily then handed me a small towel, but Instead of taking the towel, i decided to do what i like more. I gently grabbed her wrist and pointed it at my face. She looked surprised even though this was the second time I had done that. I slowly moved her fingers that were gripping the towel and rubbed it over my sweaty face.
It's not that I can't clean my own face, I just love the smell of her skin..
it somehow gave me a soothing feeling

Suddenly the sound of a cell phone ringing in my ear.
Lily quickly took her cell phone from her pants pocket. A familiar face appeared as caller ID.
Hey, that guy..
"Yes Kenji?" she sounded friendly. She turned her face away as she spoke.
The man's voice was faintly heard on the other end of the phone.
"I'm working..." she said again while glancing at me who was still tightly gripping her wrist.
What does this guy want??
"No..no you can't..." suddenly lily called out slowly making me surprised.
"Seriously, Kenji... stop it..." lily whispered pressing her lips while glancing at me, as if asking me to let go of her hand.
I pressed my jaw slowly while lowering her hand. Lily immediately grabbed it and signaled me
"Sorry I have to take this call first.." she whispered to me silently
I nodded slowly in surprise.
What’s wrong?
Lily rushed out the door with the phone on her ear, leaving me with a spike of curiosity.
I spread my eyes across the room. Most of the hyungs were talking while sitting, while jk was busy looking at his cellphone since earlier.
I glanced at Jimin in the corner of the room who was talking with Son-Hyung about the choreo we just practiced.
Okay... everybody seems busy.
I put on my black masker and decided to step out of the room, looking for some fresh air.
When my steps just left the door of the room, I suddenly heard the sound of someone talking.
I looked for the source of the sound and found Lily leaning against the wall beside the practice room. She seemed to be holding a cell phone in front of her with a bent face.
Ah, she's in video call mode apparently.
With that guy??
"See... I'm working. You want to get me fired?" she asked. I could feel a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Nooo.... i just wanna know where you are..." the man's voice sounded clear
Lily snorted softly
"Now you know... I'm always working. Besides, I don't think I need to explain anything to you..." she said seriously.
"Ah, I guess you haven't made up your mind yet about your feelings?" asked the man again.
His question made me raise an eyebrow.
Lily sighed softly
"Kenji....no need to talk about it anymore. I've made up my mind and you know it..." Lily pressed her lips as she spoke.
I snorted softly and decided to approach her
"I'm sure you'll change your mind... let's have dinner this weekend?" The man said suddenly, making Lily straighten up
"Yaaah, are you kidding me?" She seemed lost for words. Annoyance was clearly visible on the girl's face.
The man chuckled. Inviting Annoyance that suddenly appeared to creep up my chest. I stepped closer to Lily who was now furrowing her eyebrows.
"Cmone Lily.... i'll pick you up. I'm sure we're gonna have a lot of fun .." he said again in a seductive tone.
Lily looked uncomfortable to hear that.

Ok that's it.
I quickly grabbed the phone in Lily's hand and then pointed it at my face.
"Heyy..." Lily gasped in surprise at my maneuver. Her round eyes looked at me confused.
I just smile a little behind my mask
"Yaah... what's going on?" That Kenji guy looked surprised to see my face displayed in front of his cellphone screen.
"Hey, dude...sorry but Lily can't go anywhere this weekend.. she's not available anymore.." I said sternly at him while raising my eyebrows.
Kenji looked surprised, his long black hair seemed to cover one eye which was glaring at me.
"Weh? Who the heck are you??" He said annoyed.
I smirked knowing he didn't recognize me behind the mask.
"Tae...it's ok..." Lily whispered behind me. Her fingers tightly gripped the ends of my sleeves.
I glanced at her slowly.
"Hey, I'm asking you... who the heck are you,dude? Her manager? Cause I know for sure you can't be her boyfriend !” Kenji chuckled sarcastically.
I gave a quick snort towards that man
"No, I'm her boyfriend , what are you gonna do about it? Huh?" challenge me
"What???" Kenji looked surprised on the other side. His face was bright red.
"Yaaah...!" Lily squealed while pinching my waist suddenly. I grimaced softly
The girl quickly snatched her cell phone in my hand
"I got to go, Kenji. Bye!" She said quickly and then hung up the phone.
Lily rolled her eyes at me, as if she still couldn't believe what I was doing.
"Mwo??" I asked sulking at her
"What were you doing, taehyung-ah...?" she said confused.
Aissh, believe me...I was asking myself the same question.
"Who is he? Is he bothering you?" I asked ignoring the question.
Lily took a deep breath and put her phone back into her pocket.
"Kenji, my college friend. At first he wasn't like that.... for some reason now he is..." she said with a long sigh
"Do you like him?" I asked without further ado.
Lily grimaced softly at me
"No.... I just consider him my friend. And I thought I've made it clear to him about it. But he always insists on changing my mind.."
I pressed my jaw hard.
"You promised me, if there is anyone bothering you... you would tell me..." I said softly towards her.
Especially Men.. yes, every men who try to get close to you.
Lily looks at me warmly
"Yes Tae... thankyou. But it's ok, I can handle Kenji just fine..." she said smiling faintly
The warm swish appeared again in my chest seeing her smile.
Lily then walked slowly followed by me beside her. It's time for us to return to the practice room.
But before that happened suddenly a small stinging pinch felt on my waist
"Ouch!" I grimaced to find Lily who was now putting on an annoyed face after suddenly pinching me.
"And don't do anything reckless like that again, Kim Taehyung! Thank God that you wore your mask. How if he recognizes you? Aaaarrgh...., you're giving me a heart attack!" she scowled with a cute annoyed expression.
I laughed for a moment
"Weh? Weh? Are you embarrassed if we were really dating?" I said sneering at her.
"Yaah that's not it..." She pinched the base of my hand again, frowning. I can see that her cheeks are blushing all of a sudden.
Hmm, so adorable.
"I mean.... If it suddenly becomes a rumor.... I might be ganged up by all Army around the world..." she said, pouting her lips.
I chuckled lightly at her.
"Well that is why...we shouldn't make it just a rumor. Make it real..." I said winking at her teasingly.
"Iisssh ...!" she said trying to pinch me again but unfortunately it didn't work as I dodged it successfully.
I glanced at her beautiful face that was getting redder. She didn't dare to look at me at all while I couldn't take my eyes off her.
Aaah really, I don't mind doing this all day. I don't know why, but seeing her blushing like this makes my chest experienced some kind of swish that I couldn't describe.

05.20 pm
"Are you really serious about getting private piano lessons?" Jimin widens his eyes at me.
I stretch my body on my soft bed
"Yes. What about it?" I asked surprised.
Jimin just shook his head while pointing his tiny thumb at me
"Daebak! I'm amazed by your enthusiasm for learning new things. Previously the saxophone, then the violin, and now the piano. Waah Keep it up taehyung-ah!" He said with a wide grin on his face.
He looked relaxed in my favorite bean bag.
I winced as I cupped my face with both hands.
"Iiish... why does it sound like you're making fun of me...?” I said half annoyed to realize that I had not been properly studied the two musical instruments he mentioned earlier.
"Ani(no)!... I'm serious.." Jimin raised his eyebrows hilariously at me inviting a pillow toss right into his naughty face.
He laughed loudly and then threw the pillow back at me which I had been laying on my bed resignedly.
I chuckled softly. We're both used to teasing each other like this.
Jimin is one of my best friends. The two of us have experienced many things together, from high school to finally getting into a bighit agency and struggling with other Bangtan friends to pursue their dreams.
I could say that he’s more like a brother i never had.
"Humm, maybe it's time for me to learn something new? Jk also studies guitar recently..." Jimin pouted his lips while thinking.
I smirked. Jimin is one of the smartest person i’ve known, he was an exemplary student at school and it is certain that when he intends to learn something he will study it thoroughly, unlike me who is more often disturbed by my own mood.
"Aah you're smart enough jiminshii... don't be too great... let us shine a little bit .." I said sulking.
"Aiish... that's a total none sense..." he chuckled to himself.
I glanced at the watch on my wrist, it was 5.25pm.
No wonder I feel a little tired.
After training this afternoon, we went straight back to the apartment and had a briefing with the team about the concept of shooting a routine reality show that we usually make.

"So, Jk is in his room now?" I asked. I can imagine how Jk would spend any spare time he has to learn new things. I know that he really loves challenges.
"No... the last time I saw him was in the back garden with Lily.." Jimin said while stroking his blonde hair back
"Mwo??" I said surprised and spontaneously sat up hearing jimin's answer
"Iish, Why do you react like that?" Jimin looks at me surprised
I cleared my throat, grinning to myself.
I can't control it.
"Nothing.... just surprised because Jk is usually focused on practicing..." I mumbled to hide what I really felt.
"So um..what are they doing exactly ?" I asked again trying to adjust my intonation while putting the pillow back at the end of the bed.
"I don't know... they seem to be chatting. I heard Lily ask namjoon-hyung's permission to sit in the back garden because she wanted to finish her college assignment.." jimin continued while stretching his body.
"Ooh..." I pressed my jaw hard realizing the obvious change in Jk's attitude when it comes to the girl he likes. He tends to not holding back.
"Um..btw, did you notice that Jk is seems to always try to be around Lily lately?" jimin suddenly narrowed his eyes at me.
My heart beats slowly hearing it
"Oh yeah? Hum... I don't know about that..." I said curtly
Jimin raised an eyebrow
"You didn't notice that? It's obvious to me.
but Lily looks comfortable tho..
Hmm...do you think there's something between them..?” Asked Jimin, making me straighten up suddenly
"Yaaah! How can you jump to a conclusion like that? who knows, maybe Lily is just trying to be friendly... or.. they only talk as friends... right??" I said, while feeling a sudden spike on my chest.
Is it true?? Lily also feels something towards JK?
My heart beats faster than I want it to.
Jimin stares at me without blinking. He seemed surprised by my reaction
"Yaaah chill, taehyung-ah..... is there something I need to know?" Jimin gapes at me
"Huh...What do you mean?" I even asked back. Though I clearly know the meaning of his question.
Jimin snorted softly
"Ah cmone...something like, 'nothing, it's just that I got jealous because I like her...' kind of stuff?" He quipped at me with a smirk on the corner of his lips.
I instinctively glared at him.
"Iiish! Jiminshii... What's wrong with you today? Your words are all out of control" I raised my intonation at him trying to hide the sudden pounding of my heart.
Jimin laughs
"Then why you looked so annoyed? You seem very sensitive if it’s related to Lily.." he said
I pressed my jaw hard.
Even though it sucks but jimin is right.
Why can't I just act normally?
"Ah never mind..... I'm hungry..." I said standing up quickly avoiding further conversation with him.
Jimin chuckled softly and got up from his seat too
"Hey, where are you going?" he asked.
"I want to eat....
in the back garden..." I chirped as I walked towards the door quickly.
I can hear jimin burst out laughing behind me making me roll my eyes quickly.

My footsteps roared quickly down the stairs to the kitchen. Jimin's words still ring in my ears
"there might be something between the two of them..."
Heck yeah, Mr.you know-it-all. Doesn't he realize that Lily is a friendly girl? Maybe she just tried to be nice.
I quickly grabbed a glass of cold water as my feet explored the kitchen.
I spread my eyes across the room, towards the glass door that separates the family room from the back garden.
Should I go there? Approaching Lily?
Um...I'm afraid to disturb her.
But.....
I also want to see her round and beautiful eyes..
After taking another sip of the cold water,
Slowly but surely my feet stepped towards the glass door.
Getting closer, I can see from afar the figure of a girl sitting in front of the table in the middle of the gazebo.
I smiled looking at her figure from the side, her long brown hair falling loosely on her shoulders. Looks soft and beautiful in the breeze.
I got closer and realized something that made my smile fade instantly.
A tattooed man wearing an oversized white t-shirt was beside her, staring at Lily without blinking. They sat so close as if they were watching each other.
Oh shooh. It turned out that Jimin wasn't lying when he said that lily was with jungkook.
Jungkook suddenly leaning closer to lily's face, making my heart beat even more.
Hey, What does he want??
Without realizing it I pressed my jaw hard.
Should I go there?
This sight in front of me made that strange feeling rise again in my chest.
Lily suddenly looked away from jungkook and looked around her.
What is she observing? Does she feel uncomfortable? Should I save her?
Ah no, tae..... don't meddle in other people's business.
Lily suddenly glanced at the glass door and that's when her gaze collided with mine, making my heart beat faster.
She narrowed her eyes at me, as if confirming what she was seeing.
Oh No, did she notice I was standing here all this time?
I guess I have to go quickly.
I was just about to walk out when suddenly I saw Lily turned her face back to Jungkook.
And what I saw next made me instantly regret my decision to be here: Jungkook stroked Lily's hair and pulled the girl's face closer to his.
I quickly turned my body and stepped away from the glass door with a stomach that felt like it was being stirred. I can't stand to watch what might happen next.
Damn. Damn. Damn. Did jungkook kiss her???
Did lily kiss him back?
Is there really something between them??
Why?
Why do I feel so angry???
I gulped down the drink in my hand as I continued to walk quickly towards the kitchen.
Even the cold water in my glass didn't work at all to relieve my head that suddenly felt hot.
