The corridor has begun to look busy with people passing by with their own interests. "Mr Sungdeuk?" I asked politely as I stopped right in front of him. He glanced at me with his minimalistic eyes then smirked a little
"Yes... you can call me Son. you're the new assistant?"
I was stunned for a moment, is this the right term? Assistant or runner?
"I...i guess so..." I answered doubtfully. He smiled warmly and tucked his phone into his jacket pocket.
"Ah Lily, right? You were here yesterday too. I saw you... now can you help me out setting this props and preparing some towels n water for them?" he asked kindly. I nodded quickly.
I didn't expect him to remember my presence yesterday, instead I was too focused on Bangtan and brother Lee so I didn't really know that he was the choreographer. I should have noticed him.
"Today we're going to record their practice. So I want you to take some cables in the drawers.." he asked, pointing to the bottom drawer. I nodded quickly while glancing at the shelf on the left of the room filled with audio equipment, a large mixer that looked like it had 16 channels on it and other FX shelves. A 41-inch tv seemed stuck to the wall.
I stepped into the compartment and crouched down a bit, opening the bottom drawer.
There are various kinds of cables in it.
Hm did he say what kind of cable I should take?
I was just about to ask a question when I heard the door to the room open, followed by chatter and jokes. Oh they have come.
I turned towards the door to find Namjoon and Jungkook coming into the room followed by Jin then yoongi and Hobi. They shook hands with Mr Son and finally glanced at me. Jungkook was the first to recognize me, he waved his hand with a friendly smile. Namjoon widens his eyes at me
"Lily? Good morning... so early..?" he said smiling broadly, as if surprised by my presence. Yoongi glanced at me without saying anything.
I smiled and nodded my head at all of them. "Good morning, everyone..." I greeted.
Some of them smiled at me then started to spread around the room while talking.
I got up and decided to ask after Mr Son finished talking to them.
"Excuse, Mr. Son. But what type of cable that you need?" I asked the man who seemed to be in his 40s.
He raised his eyebrows and chuckled
"Ah sorry, didn't I tell you before? Hm 2pcs HDMI and 2pcs DVI.." he nodded confidently and then turned his attention back to the Bangtan boys.
I press my lips slowly... ok, I'm familiar with HDMI cables but DVI??
I finally returned to the drawer and explored its contents. I guess I'll take 2 rolls of HDMI cable first.
"Hey, Lily..what are you doing?" Suddenly a distinctive voice greeted my ears. When I turned I saw yoongi was standing behind my back while bowing his head down towards me.
"Oh, hi Yoongi...um.. Mr Son told me to grab some cables.." I smiled while showing the HDMI cables in my hand.
Yoongi looks surprised
"Oh? Do you need help with that?" he asked.
I was stunned then smiled a little
"Um yeah, I actually do.." I said quietly.
Before I could continue my sentence, Yoongi suddenly squatted in front of me until we were both one level tall. We were both close and he looked at me with his brown eyes.
"Tell me..." he said.
I cleared my throat quickly
"Ok well, this is an HDMI cable right? I already got 2. But I still got to take DVI cables. Do you know what it looks like?" I asked with a little whisper. Meanwhile Behind us all the boys sounded excited and boisterous, especially since Jimin and Taehyung finally entered the room.
"Oh DVI...? Okay.." he smiled and then straightforwardly brought his body closer to me, making the smell of the colonge he was wearing suddenly fill my nose.
He quickly put his left arm on the floor, right beside me to support his body which he leaned towards the drawer. This brought my face almost directly into his shoulder. Then the fingers of his right hand deftly scoured the contents of the drawer looking for the cable, while I couldn't help but be nervous in the position that my body was trapped in by his.
Gosh, doesn't he realize what he's doing can make a girl suddenly faint??
I glanced slowly at Namjoon, Hobi and Jungkook who seemed busy talking to Mr. Son. While Jin was busy looking at his own reflection in the mirror.
Suddenly I realized Jimin and Taehyung's eyes were straight at me. Jimin waved his hand with a friendly smile while Taehyung just glared at me. His brows dipped again like yesterday.
Hm.. is he in a bad mood?
"There you go.." said yoongi handing 2 rolls of black wires to me while moving his body away, making me sigh with relief.
I turned to him and smiled widely
"Ahh, gumawo (thank you)... I've never heard of this type of cable before..." I muttered to him.
We both got up. He smiled widely
"I didn't even think you knew anything about wires..." he smirked mischievously.
I sneer softly at him
"Ish, I know a few types... even if it's just the basic ones.." I defended myself.
Yoongi chuckled showing his adorable gummy smile.
"Good for you..." he winked, making me blush a little.
"Lily? Already got them?" Mr Son asked me.
I nodded then handed the cables to him.
Meanwhile yoongi returned to his friends, while I quickly grabbed the black cellphone from my bag and stepped closer to taehyung who was joking with jimin.
"Good morning...it looks like this is yours..." I said as I faced him.
He glanced at me, then his gaze shifted to the phone in my palm.
"Yeah... it is. Thanks, I didn't think I could be that careless ..." he said as he took his phone from my hand and looked at every corner carefully as if to make sure it was fine.
Duh, it's definitely safe.... don't you know that all day yesterday I intentionally wrapped it with my handkerchief so that the cellphone was protected from impact and nothing was scratched...? I mumble in my mind.
He smirked lightly then took my phone out of his jacket pocket and handed it to me.

"Thank you...Aah, low bat!" I screamed seeing my cell phone battery almost dying.

I stared, really? Then quickly check my phone screen
One Missed call and text message from my sister, then.. Aish, kenji! 6x missed calls and dozens of short messages. That guy is really unbelievable !
"Sorry if it disturbed you..." I said shyly towards Taehyung while biting my lip slowly.
He looked at me without blinking then cleared his throat slowly
"Well, That’s what you get when you hang a men’s feeling like that…Set your heart and then decide quickly.." he said suddenly making my eyes widen for a moment
"Um, excuse me..?" I wrinkled my forehead.
Taehyung's expression suddenly turned nervous, as if he accidentally said what should be on his mind.

"Yoo Lily..... you really hit Tae's head yesterday?” Jimin suddenly came up to me with a big grin.
He then hugged Taehyung's shoulder who rolled his eyes quickly at the question.
I just smile shyly at him.
"Um, it's not like that... it wasn't intentional..." I said glancing at Tae who looked annoyed
"Ah, too bad I didn't see it with my own eyes..." Jimin said laughing
"Yaaah stop it. Cmone we have to start the routine ." Tae said curtly as he pulled Jimin away from me.
Jimin just giggled softly as he started to take up the dance blocking position.

I quickly stepped into the corner of the room and sat on the chair by the large mirror.
Mr. Son has started to arrange and give instructions about the choreo.
I chewed my lips slowly, thinking about the words that came out of Taehyung's mouth.
Did he talk about Kenji? How did he know about Him and what happened between us? Did he read my messages?
But that’s impossible since my phone is also locked.

I stared at the phone screen and started reading the incoming text messages. Kenji didn't stop calling and sending me short messages... and his question always remain the same.

Then Jungkook came closer to me. He wore an oversized gray crewneck shirt and black jogger pants.
His tattooed right arm slowly reached for the towel, his gaze swept over me followed by a small smile at the corner of his lips.
I smiled back at him.
As the youngest member, only he who has the same age as me. It's just that...he is 14cm taller than me, makes me had to lift my head up when we look at each other.
"You look nice today.." he said suddenly in a soft voice.

He turned quickly, leaving me gawking, trying to catch the meaning of his words.
"Aaah...finally... I'm so tired... my legs already feel like jelly.." Jimin laughed as he grabbed the towel quickly.
He spoke to Tae who followed behind him.
The two of them finally came face to face with me
"Want me to get you a drink?" My offer.

His hair was wet with dripping sweat.
Taehyung presses his jaw against me, realizing that my offer applies to both of them
"Ah, it must be fresh... but it's okay Lily, I can take it myself..." Jimin said quickly.
"It's ok.." I rushed to take 2 big mugs with the names of jimin and tae and filled them with cold water
"Here you go guys .." I said smiling broadly while handing the two glasses from my hand.
Jimin blinked an eye "thank you" then took a quick sip, while Tae, who was wearing a dark oversized jacket on the top of a plain white t-shirt and wide army green pants, just stared at me while pressing his lips.
Jimin spontaneously elbowed tae’s chest, making him wince instantly
"Ugh, um.. yaa thank you .." Taehyung said to me, still grinning while rubbing his chest. I just nodded amused at him.
"Yaaah Lily, why are they the only ones who are given a drink. I’m also thirsty, you know..." jin suddenly approached me with a sulky tone. His facial expression is so funny that it makes me smile
"Oh ok, I'll get it for you.." I said happily
"Yaaah, yaaah... can't you just get your own drink?" Yoongi poked Jin's shoulder and raised an eyebrow.
Jin laughed silly seeing yoongi's reaction
"It's ok, yoongi...want me to get one for you too?" I asked with a big smile.
Yoongi just shook his head at me while raising his already filled mug.
"I want it! If you don't mind..." jungkook suddenly raised his hand with a big grin.
"Aish! You guys..." yoongie shook his head annoyed.
I couldn't help but chuckle at their antics then quickly took 2 mugs bearing the names of Jin and JK, filled them with cold water and gave them to them.
They end up busy talking or just joking.
I then returned to my seat and pulled out Bangtan’s schedule for today, after this was lunch time and interview schedule.
In the remarks it was written that they would be interviewed online at their own place after lunch.

I answered
Wait, What? In charge there? at bangtan’s place? My heart immediately beat faster when I realized that I was going to join the other staff to Bangtan's apartment.
Ok, focus LiLy! Focus.
A few minutes later I did what I was supposed to do, called the restaurant and ordered the foods, luckily it wasn't as difficult as I thought because this restaurant has been their favourite since their debut, so the staffs there already know what foods to prepare.
After that I sent an invoice via wa to Mrs. Mia and contacted Mr. Sejin to arrange for the return of these guys to their apartment.
All done.
Now it's just a matter of instructing them to go home.
