"Follow Me"

You lay in bed alone, and ready to sleep
Into a world of dreams and slumber so deep.
Dream of the dead and a kingdom of rust and so much dust of the things of the once living now forgotten.
Climb the dark mountain into an open grave.
Follow me into the cemetery, and find where you're buried in your dreams.
Crash into to sea of mist into the depth and legions of gloom.
The reaper's scythe is so sharp and ready for the harvest.
We marvel at the things we leave behind.
Time brings these things to our knees, piles of rubble and a burning pile of ruins
Once a castle now just a memory in the back of a tome in a dead language that no one longer speaks.
Follow me and be for forgotten and mingle with dust and ash that remains of or once mortal steeple.
A building of bone and flesh and a river of blood, flowing through pipes or purple and blue vines and tributaries that seem to never end until we die.
Follow me, my friend, no matter what happens I will always smile without eyes or flesh and pure bone as I am a reminder of your morality.
Dream of death I will come with wings and blade in hand.
Draw a path with time's sand
A broken hourglass, eternity curse
Follow me to a land so black and without light
Stepping on every tombstone to the trail I left behind.
Follow me and take your last breath, so shallow and it is the last one you have left.
Say goodbye, as your loved ones will grieve and say how great thou art, but do not mean a word.
As behind your back, they stab your flesh with harsh phrases and curses.
Now that you are dead, you rise above the saints.
Follow me and see the pain undone and as the name written on your headstone as merely a footnote in the book of forever.
Come close to me and never look back at the life you leave behind.
Follow me, follow me, and regret nothing as the ribbon of black signs your death certificate.
Long last your free of life's chains and shackles.
Follow me, follow me and now you're free.
