Who was she anyway? She couldn't remember.
The image faded, replaced by a blanket of white nothingness. And then suddenly, the white nothingness turned blue. She could feel something cold and hard pressing against her. No, she was the one pressing against it.
She was lying on a cold hard surface. She sat up in a daze, confused as to where she was and what she was doing there. A cool breeze blew past her causing her to shiver involuntarily.
A cry from a seagull startled her. She looked around and realized that she was on a metal platform surrounded by sea from all sides except for what seemed to be an island in the distance.
As she stood, she felt something crunch in the pocket of her jacket. Was it even her jacket though? Reaching inside, she found a piece of paper that read:
