Narrowing his white eyes thing carefully and silently walked throughout the forest. The creature was hungry and desperate for any sort of food. He yearned to sink his razor-sharp teeth inside of the sweet flesh of a human. But he didn’t know if any were around.
Just as he was thinking thing saw a nearby human running through the woods. This piqued his interest. After all, why would a human be running through the woods at this time? Then again thing really didn’t care. The only thing that mattered to thing was finding something to eat.
Licking his lips thing raced after the human. The human, of course, didn’t notice that there was a creature behind him. Mainly because thing was as dark as the shadows, maybe even darker actually.
As he was walking thing soon froze as he accidently stepped onto a twig.
“I-is somebody there?” the human questioned, his eyes wide.
Thing didn’t reply. He simply grinned. The human just sighed and kept walking.

just then thing leaped onto the human and slammed him against the ground. Starting to squirm the human didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know what kind of creature thing was.
Wasting no more time thing sank his teeth into the human’s neck and rapidly began to tear at his soft flesh. He started to eat the human alive. But soon the human closed his eyes and died.
Once he got his belly full thing ran off into the night, waiting for his next victim.
