No matter how mean Luciel was to Mack the servant still didn’t quit or even act slightly mad. It was starting to piss Luciel off. Although he had to admit he was also kind of Impressed.
Luciel desperately wanted to know more about his cute servant. He was mainly curious about why Luciel was here and how he managed to remain calm at all times.
Should Luciel just go up to Mack and ask to have a conversation with him? Maybe take him to the library or something? Shrugging Luciel got out of his room and began to look for Mack. It wouldn’t take him that long to find him.
It turns out Luciel was correct because in around the span of five minutes Mack came bolting out of the kitchen.
“I'm so sorry. I forgot to wake you!” Mack apologized, dipping his head.
“Oh, it’s fine.” Luciel yawned. “I was wondering. Do you want to go the library with me?”
Blinking Mack tilted his head. It was clear he was confused but he agreed anyway. Mainly because he didn’t want to get in trouble for refusing to do something the price had said.
“of course, I can.” Mack said, padding alongside Luciel as they went into the library.
Sitting down on a beanbag next to a bookshelf Luciel grabbed a random book and began to look through the pages, trying to look like he was reading when in reality he was wondering about what he should say to Mack.
Should Luciel be polite, or should he be blunt and get to the point? After a while of thinking Luciel threw his book onto the floor and looked Mack into the eyes.
“Why are you working here out of all places?” Luciel questioned, narrowing his eyes.
“What do you mean?” Mack asked. He didn't sound offended. Just confused.
“Are you so poor that you have to work as a maid to get your money?” Luciel scoffed, coming off as harsh.
“No, I just like cooking and cleaning.” Mack answered, still not even the slightest bit angry.
“i don't know why you like cooking. I can't cook anything. It always ends up tasting like dirt.” Luciel muttered.
Laughing Mack rolled his eyes. “I doubt your cooking tastes that bad. Then again, I never tried it. You’re a prince. You had people cook for you your whole life. It isn't like you had practice anyway.”
“i guess you're right. Although I made macaroni one time and it tasted so bad, I wanted to vomit.” Luciel admitted. He might have to take cooking classes if he has time.
“Well, I love macaroni so knowing me I would most likely eat yours.” Mack informed him.
“Well, your name is Mack. That sounds like something I would expect.” Luciel said, making a corny joke.
The two laughed and kept talking for a while. Hours passed and the two were still having a conversation. Finally, Luciel and Mack got up.
“it’s getting late. I have to clean before I go to bed.” Mack said, padding off. “Goodbye. I hope I can talk to you again soon.” 192Please respect copyright.PENANA2S0YupJrEZ
“Bye!” Luciel called.
Heading back into his room Luciel curled up into his bed. He had to stop acting like a jerk and keep this cute servant around.
