Dong Hua walked by to Qing Yun hall and he heard gasps upon the immortals he passed by and even from the emotionless and well disciplined guards he heard gasps too. Since he is in a very good mood, he decided to just greet them with a smile in which they replied with a noticeable stiff body and forced smile. He really thinks this is weird. He thought that, when you give someone a smile, it will make them happy but what he did is the opposite which he thinks is weird. Didn't I do it correctly? He thought.
Aside from people gasping when he came in, he can feel all the eyes zeroed towards the fox in his arms. He realized that even in her fox form, the young one is still very eye catching. Dong Hua didn't realize it but he's been caressing the fox's fur which earned a purr from her. Dong Hua looked down and he saw that the fox is looking at him too. To the onlookers, what the great Dong Hua Dijun did is a clear message that the fox he is holding is definitely his. The onlookers got already some very important points to remember about his majesty Dong Hua Dijun.
When Dong Hua sat on his podium, he let the fox sat on the right arm of his chair and he put his hand on the neck of the fox still caressing from the top of its head down to the fox's back and the fox, like its master sat proudly and scanned the whole hall then Zhong Lin started the ceremony and it lasted for almost an hour and a half. Then came the interesting part of the ceremony, Dong Hua called a 5000 year old immortal in the name of Ye Qingti.
The Ye Qingti immortal came forward. This piqued Dong Hua's interest. The immortal after eyeing for longer, he felt somewhat... Annoyed and Dong Hua didn't know where the annoyance he's feeling came from. To Dong Hua's surprise again, the fox jumped down and went to Ye Qingti. Out of all the immortals presented today, this is the only immortal that the fox took interest to and even went down to just walk in circles around Ye Qingti. Then to Dong Hua's surprise, the fox jump towards the immortal and the immortal caught it in his arms luckily and it add more to his annoyance in which it didn't escaped Zhong Lin's observant and trained eyes.
Ye Qingti knew that the fox is her highness Bai Feng Jiu. He was surprised and he didn't know what happened why her highness suddenly became a pet fox of his majesty Dong Hua Dijun. Finally, Qingti already saw how this almighty emperor looks like and he is at awe and at the same time he felt that he knew him somewhere long long time ago yet he can't remember. It's just a weird feeling seeing the person for the first time yet there is a felling of familiarity. Qingti felt her highness nudge his face with the use of her fox head which brought his attention back to her. Qingti smiled and patted her highnessfox head in which it earned more irritation from Dong Hua.
Dong Hua didn't know where and how this feeling started to arise but it just irritated him especially on how the fox preferred this immortal than him. Dong Hua will deal with this unknown emotions of his later and he'll finish first the ceremony.
Checking Ye Qingti, he can sense that the man has a lot to grow and can be very useful in the nine one heavens someday. He has the ability to cultivate and ascend easily but Dong Hua wants to know why there are still specks of mortal dust left in him.
"You have the most special case amongst the rest here. What did you do in your mortal life that you gained immortality easily? " Dong Hua asked and this earned murmurs from the other newly ranked immortals. Qingti looked down to her highness and he saw her nod her head. Qingti nodded back then the fox came down and went back to Dong Hua Dijun. The fox sat back again of Dijun's right arm where Dijun instantly put his right hand and caressed the fox.
"I saved a goddess your majesty and this is how the goddess repaid my debt of life. " Qingti replied which earned more murmurs from the audience. Dong Hua nodded at this then he replied,
"I can see a great potential in you. After this ceremony, you'll be part of Taichen Goong and you'll be under Star Lord Siming. Zhong Lin here will assist you to be transferred to Taichen Goong. " Qingti's eyes widened. He couldn't believe that he'll be under the Dong Hua Dijun and he doesn't know if he'll be happy or sad. Qingti saw the fox form of her highness looked at Dong Hua Dijun like she's going to protest about the decision Dijun made but suddenly the two disappeared and he just heard Zhong Lin announced that the ceremony is adjourned. He only agreed and nodded back at Zhong Lin when he asked him to follow him back to Taichen Goong. Ofcourse the other immortals envy him. Everyone wants to be in the same place as Dong Hua Dijun.

Dong Hua and the fox appeared inside Taichen Goong and this time, in his study. Dong Hua sat and eyed the restless fox. It seems that it wants to tell him something, so Dong Hua decided to turn the fox to it's humanoid form.
Feng Jiu huffed and crouched on the floor. Then she raised her eyes and eyed Dong Hua Dijun angrily. She's never been so humiliated in her whole immortal life and this is a first. What made her more angry is Qingti being assigned a rank and transferred here in Taichen Goong. Feng Jiu saw that Dijun is pouring himself a tea and then drink casually like what he did is not a big deal. Ha! Ofcourse!what Dong Hua Dijun did is a service to all immortals except to her. Then she heard Dijun spoke,
"What is it? I can feel that you're throwing daggers in my direction. "
Feng Jiu crawled like she's still in her fox form and sat opposite to Dijun without feeling embarrassed since the man infront of her lacks the bone to feel embarrassment too. Too thick skinned. She thought. Maybe he learned that ability by living for a thousands of years already. She thought again. Feng Jiu took another tea cup and poured tea then drank it. She needs to drink since Dijun didn't gave her any hours ago and she's also thirsty. When she's done, she looked at Dijun in the eyes and said,
"Won't you apologize for forcefully turning me into a fox and drag me to your business back there? " then Feng Jiu huffed. Feng Jiu saw the face of Dijun frowned then look at her and said,
"Why will I apologize? Haven't you remembered what I said before I turned you into a fox? " then Dijun leaned. He put his elbow on the table and his face leaned on his palm.
This action of Dijun started to confuse Feng Jiu. She didn't know why but her heart started to beat into that abnormal beat again. She frowned. She's being distracted again. Dijun sure knows how to use his charms. He thought that he can fool me? Well, two can play at this game. Feng Jiu thought. She deeply inhaled a lungful of air then replied,
"Yes I did trespass Taichen Goong but I didn't even know that this is already Taichen Goong. I didn't even know what you look like so if I offended you... I deeply apologize."Feng Jiu replied sincerely and kowtowed infront of Dijun.
Dong Hua cocked his head to the side and was surprised when the young one kowtowed. He's impressed and it tugged his heart strings. Then Dong Hua remembered something and said,
"A while back in Qing Yun hall, do you know that immortal named Ye Qingti?"
Dong Hua saw the still kowtowing young one's back stiffened and he smirked. He already know the answer to his question and again the irritation that was forgotten arises again. He saw the young one slowly rose and sat. He's looking at her beautiful but troubled face. Now he's curiosity is eating him. What is the relationship of the young one to the promising immortal? He thought.
Feng Jiu doesn't know how to answer Dijun. She doesn't want to dare lie infront of him but she's embarrassed also if he'll learn that she's the queen of Qingqiu. So how is she going to answer his majesty? Then luckily someone came in. Still, Feng Jiu didn't dare turn and check who it was.
Siming came in his majesty's study expecting him to be alone but to his surprise and intrigue, he saw the back of a woman facing him and was kneeling infront of Dijun. Siming gave his respects and his eyes went again to the woman's back. Who is she? Siming thought. Then he brought his attention back to his majesty then said,
"I heard from Zhong Lin that there will be an additional immortal that you brought and gave a rank under me your majesty. " Siming heard a hmmm from his majesty as a reply then Siming continued,
"What do you want me to teach him Dijun?"
"His future duties. Heavenly protocols and knowledge about the heavens. Then give him time every week to slowly cultivate. I can sense that he can easily do that. And... There are still mortal dusts left in him. Why didn't he washed it off? " Dijun replied then Siming bowed again and said,
"The one who brought him and gave him immortality is not with him Dijun."
Dong Hua took interest in this and asked,
"Who? "
"The queen of Qingqiu Dijun. "
Dong Hua is surprised but nodded he asked again,
"I thought you said the queen attended the leaders meeting this morning, how come she left the heavens?"
Then Siming just bowed down again and apologized saying he'll write another missive to summon the queen of Qingqiu.
"No need to summon the queen of Qingqiu Siming, Dijun. "
The woman replied which earned a surprise from Siming and Dijun throw an interesting look towards the young one. Then the woman slowly turned and Siming's eyes widened and he gasped loudly. Dong Hua didn't understand why Siming looked surprised seeing the young one.
"You know her?" Dijun asked in which Siming can only nod wordlessly.
"Why isn't there a need to summon the queen of Qingqiu again? " Dijun asked again.
Feng Jiu slowly turned her attention back to Dijun and although she doesn't like how they met for the very first time, she need to stop this now and go back to being a queen. Play time is over and you need to go back to being a queen. Feng Jiu silently thought and her face became serious then she closed her eyes. When she opened them, Feng Jiu then said in a mild yet serious tone,
"There is no need to summon the queen of Qingqiu since... The queen is right infront of you. Greetings your majesty Dong Hua Dijun, I apologize for the late introduction but I am the Queen of Qingqiu Bai Feng Jiu. " then to prove that she's indeed the queen and ofcourse a BAI, Feng Jiu showed all her ninetails in their full glory which earned another gasp from Siming and when she looked at Dong Hua Dijun, Feng Jiu swear that Dijun's eye twitched just now. Uh-oh your in trouble Bai Feng Jiu. I think you greatly offended his majesty Dong Hua Dijun. Feng Jiu gulped down her saliva. Of all the immortals that she crossed, it was Dong Hua Dijun she unintentionally offended and she's readying herself to save some face... If there is still left to save that is.
