It has been a month since the incident happened in the pavilion of the Bai's where Dong Hua hugged Feng Jiu. Everytime he thinks of what happened, it brought a bright smile to his face especially when he is at work.
The tiredness will immediately disappear as soon as he remembered that incident.
Dong hua and Feng Jiu agreed that they will give it a try, to start and make it work on their relationship. Since he is busy with work and Feng Jiu is also busy with her botique, they just exchange messages.
He is missing her. He wanted to be around her but their circumstances and their great background can't just easily be ignored. Dong hua remembered one of the many calls they had and discussed their situation. He was still in his office, sitting on his swivel chair and listening to the sweet voice of Feng Jiu.

Dong hua could hear the annoyance in her voice and he chuckled.

Feng Jiu exasperatedly said and complained and this time Dong Hua laughed.
"Now now, calm down Xiaobai. Remember that you don't want me to call you Feng Jiu."
Dong hua reminded her and he can hear her sigh. He just smiled. Xiaobai is adorable. He thought.
"Back to the topic before you distracted me, please Dong hua, don't do barge in my botique because, I am not yet ready to divulge to the public what we have and especially to my family. Can...we take it slow please? We are going too fast. I may look like the modern thinking woman but I still have reservations and old beliefs when it comes to relationships."
That's my girl. Dong hua silently thought. He is happy knowing these thought of hers and he agrees.
"I totally agree with you Xiaobai. Let's take it slow and... I am not also ready to share you to the world."
Dong hua said and he felt a little disturbed when he realized that he might be a possesive partner. Then he heard Feng Jiu chuckled on the other line and said,
"Posessive now are we? FYI mister, we are still dating." a hint of teasing in her voice.
Dong Hua silently laughed but deep in him the uttered words are serious.
"Exclusively dating Xiaobai. EXCLUSIVELY. I just want you to know that I don't like to share especially when I have my eyes on the prize Xiaobai. "
Then he heard her sweet chuckle that turned his insides like a jelly. He just smiled.
"I am a prize now eh? May I remind you also that I don't want to share, especially when I deemed you...mine."
Then she laughed. This time, it earned a wide smile and then followed by a laugh from him. I like it. He thought. He loves the thought that his Xiaobai is also as posessive as him.
"Can I ask you something?"
there is a hint of hesitation in her voice. He raised his brow at this.
"Yes what is it Xiaobai? " he asked.
"Uhm... Can we go out? That is...you know... If you are not that busy. "
Dong hua heard her laughed nervously. Dong hua turned his attention to his laptop and checked his schedule for the whole week. The only day that he can cancel all meetings and appointments is two days from now, and it is on Wednesday.
"Does that mean no? Oh that's okay. "
Dong hua smiled again when he heard the disappointment in her voice.
"Now hold your horses Xiaobai, I have not decided on the date yet. "
"Date? " she echoed.
"Yes. You're definitely asking me for a date just now didn't you?" now his teasing side is ON again.
"I... I didn't mean that exactly." Feng Jiu whispered back and Dong hua chuckled. He can imagine an embarassed Xiaobai right now.
"Wednesday Xiaobai. You'll have me all to yourself on Wednesday."
After Dong Hua said it, his heart warmed up. Xiaobai makes him feel so good especially on the emotional level.
Dong Hua heard Feng Jiu giggled happily on the other line and replied,
"You would really spend a whole day with me? " she asked incredulously.
"Why? Don't you believe that I can cancel everything for a day just to spend it with you?" he replied back.
Dong hua stared at his laptop with a picture of Xiaobai as his wallpaper. After they got together, he searched pictures of her on the internet. Some are stolen, some are from photo shoots and among all, this is his favorite.
A smiling and happy Xiaobai. He would do everything just to please her.
"I'm already looking forward to...our date." she whispered.
"Xiaobai, Xiaobai. What will I do with you? "
Dong hua loudly sighed and smiled. For now, he likes everything that he is feeling. He felt happy, giddy and contented. It doesn't matter that they are not always together and just seldomly met but what is important is that Xiaobai and him have a deep understanding of everything.

Lian Song naughtily smiled and chuckled.
Dong hua looked at his friend and said,
"Can I just keep this issue to myself? I am not ready to share this with anyone just yet." then Dong hua cocked his head on the side.
Dong Hua heard his very good friend laughed out loud and he put on his usual empty look and demeanor and just stared at the laughing Lian Song.
After Lian Song calmed down, he looked at Dong Hua and wiped the tears that has formed in his eyes. Lian Song has never laughed like this around Dong Hua and the novelty of it as the very first time happening since they've know each other.
"It's a woman right? " Lian Song wiggled his brows then smiled.
"If it is, what's wrong with that?" still with a serious face Dong Hua replied.
This time, Lian Song's eyes widened and stood then went beside Dong hua, very curious as to know who the woman is.
Lian Song and Dong Hua were childhood best of friends together with Siming the other notorious gossip monger besides him. They are aware that Dong Hua don't give a care on most women who are flocking at his feet. Many tried to get Dong Hua's attention but all of them failed.
There is a time when Lian Song and Siming thought that Dong Hua is... Gay. But debunked that when out of the blue Zhong Lin showed Dong Hua a tabloid magazine that is in black and white showing a candid photo of the paparazzi's favorite, the heiress to Qingqiu corp. Bai Feng Jiu.

Dong Hua didn't understand this question. His forehead knotted then replied casually.
"I did. She is indeed beautiful. You've asked my opinion right? Well, my answer is that. "
"It's hard to make you talk and get a compliment directly out from your mouth." Lian Song argued.
"Well, she's the only woman I thought is deserving to be called beautiful. Anyway, if you guys are not busy, I obviously am. Go back to your offices. I still have a mountain of documents to review and to sign." just like that Dong Hua returned his attention back to the never ending documents.
Since that day, Lian Song, Siming and Zhong Lin noted that Dong Hua is not gay but more on...choosy.
Lian Song eyed Dong Hua like a hawk while Dong Hua is busy typing on his laptop. Then a phone beeped loudly.
Dong Hua stopped typing and looked at Lian Song.
"That's not my phone. " Lian Song defensively replied knowing how Dong Hua has strict rules on phones that are not turned into silent or vibration mode.
Dong Hua realized it's his phone. He looked at the side and said,
"Can you get my phone for me please? I'll need to finish this so everything will be settled by tomorrow." and Dong Hua is back again at working.
Lian Song stood and shook his head. Dong Hua is a slave driver and it marvelled Lian Song how can someone live this kind of life without the joys of going out at night, clubbing, drinking or even take a vacation.
Lian Song took Dong Hua's phone and got curious. He opened it and his eyes widened when he saw the wallpaper on his phone. Lian Song laughed out loud while still holding Dong Hua's phone.
Dong Hua got surprised when Lian Song suddenly laughed. He wanted to scold Lian Song but he saw Lian Song holding his phone and it is open. Dong hua now knows why his friend is laughing. He just sighed and waited until Lian Song stopped laughing.
"Does this mean you like her? " Lian Song asked still calming himself down.
"I do like her. Now give me back my phone." Dong hua replied and held his hand.
Lian Song is stunned. He never expected that Dong Hua can be direct. He handed the phone back to Dong Hua's hand and then he heard Dong Hua said,
"Now that I've satisfied your curiosity, go back to work. You'll be in-charge tomorrow while I play outside the whole day."
Lian Song's mouth dropped and he saw Dong Hua smirked. Then an idea popped in his head. After all the information he got and discovered today, for the first time in his friend's life, Dong Hua is on the dating phase of his life and this information is making Lian Song excited greatly.
Lian Song walked out of Dong Hua's office and decided to share this to Siming hatching a plan but before he closed the door of Dong Hua's office he said,
"Good luck on your date tomorrow Dong Hua. And please be responsible by bringing condoms for safety purposes. "
As Lian Song closed the door he heard Dong Hua cursed at him loudly and he just laughed out loud ready to share what he learned to Siming.
