"Let her go. Now!" Tae's voice is deep and heavy, giving me goosebumps instantly. I can feel the anger from his tone.

This made Pierre suddenly release his grip and show a frightened face.

"H-hey... cmone, we're just having fun.." he denied, smiling nervously while moving his body away from me.

"I don't see it that way." Tae said firmly. His voice was still intimidating.

Tae glanced at me quickly then pressed his jaw hard.

"Let’s go home." He said grabbing my wrist and pulling me closer to his body.

I nod quickly. There was a sudden warm feeling rise in my chest seeing his figure.

i must admit....even though today he’s kind of annoying but i like the fact that he always managed to save me.

Without any words, Tae took my arm and made me follow his wide steps out of the room.

We were now walking down the corridor leading to the staircase while my mind is still frantic trying to process what just happened.

"T-tae..." I said slowly

Tae kept walking while holding my arm without looking at me at all. I can feel the anger still overpowering him

"Um... Tae...

Thank you..." I continued

Tae suddenly stopped his steps and turned his body towards me.

"What are you thinking? Why are you following that guy just like that??" Tae suddenly raised his voice at me.

I looked at him in surprise

“H-he said that he would show…”

"Show you what? That he's been eager to touch you??" Tae started to look annoyed

"Hey! How did I know he had such intentions?? You think I would also want to follow him if he was like that?" I'm starting to get annoyed

Tae took a deep breath

"Then what are you doing here? You should be downstairs with me!" Tae looked at me with arched eyebrows

Anger flowed like rain into my chest

"With you?? Yeah... For what? To witness your intimacy with Joana??

Suddenly Tae's cell phone rang loudly, interrupting his words.

"You... uuurggh... I haven't finished talking to you yet." He said looking anxious

His gaze was divided between me and his phone.

"Aah, hyung.." he whispered nervously then picked up his phone and talked. I think it's Namjoon.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm my racing heart.

Oh God, why do I have to be this emotional?

But I can't lie that I'm really upset about everything that happened tonight. And I can't hold it anymore.

"We have to go home... Namjoon hyung is already waiting downstairs.." Tae said after hanging up the phone.

I heaved a sigh of relief

"Good. I'm tired..." I muttered to myself then walked past Tae who was still statue there.

"Hey...wait, we're not done talking yet..." Tae grabbed my arm and held me from moving.

"What's more to talk, Mr. kim? Is there another task that I need to complete?" I asked sarcastically while brushing his hand away.

I quickly stepped away from Tae who throws a deep and heavy sigh behind me.

30 minutes passed, minutes that felt so slow as the limo roared through the streets, especially since there was only silence between me and Tae.

Every now and then he glances at me secretly, his eyes emit a look that I don't understand... like anger, despair and sadness.

Or is it something else?

I don't know,

I chose to focus on the street lights and occasionally answered Namjoon who had time to discuss the paintings that were being exhibited. Luckily this topic is one I know well so I can engage in the conversation smoothly.

I admit, this makes the feeling of irritation in my chest slowly begin to fade.

"I'll go directly to my room..I really need some rest..” Namjoon said as soon as we all arrived at the apartment.

I glanced at the watch on my wrist

10.45pm.

Well I guess so do I, my body began to feel tired

And I didn't see any signs of activity from other Bangtan members.

"Ah yes, looks like I'll be going straight home too.." I said smiling at namjoon

Tae walked up to me suddenly

"I think we should talk first.." he said while looking at me with deep look

"Umh..fine..." I answered short, inviting a thin smile from the handsome man in front of me.

"Yaah, don't take too long, Taehyung-ah... remember that Lily still has to drive home..." Namjoon reminded as he opened his coat

"I'll be in my room, ok?" Namjoon said again giving me a warm smile while walking lightly towards his room.

As soon as his hyung gone upstairs, Tae glanced at me slowly

"Do you… mind if we talk in my room?"

That hopeful look appeared again.

I pressed my lips slowly and finally shook my head.

Tae opened the door to his room and let me in. Spontaneously tae's distinctive scent in the room attacked my sense of smell.

There was something about this room that immediately made me feel at ease.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked while folding my arms across my chest.

Tae took a deep breath and slowly stepped closer to me

"I... umm... have never seen you this angry. I think I've crossed the line. I'm sorry.." he said while slowly pressing his jaw.

I snorted softly.

He apologized?

Tae looked at me with a look that made me melt. I can feel the radiance of sincerity from him.

"Hhh...ok Tae, I forgive you. you see.. even though I'm just your assistant tonight which you have the right to ask me to do anything, but I think you should at least ask my approval for something like that..

Do you not care if I feel comfortable or not?" I said seriously.

Tae's eyes widened in surprise.

"What do you mean? I already asked you this afternoon about going to dinner and you agreed?"

"Yes, but you didn't say that I had to accompany Pierre. If you had said that from the start, I would have refused." I said back annoyed

Tae glared at me

"Accompany him?? when did I say something ridiculous like that?? I only asked you to sit beside me but apparently you chose that man yourself.." he started to sound annoyed again.

Seriously ?! He used this reason again?

"Owh? So you think I had a choice then? To make they think that a popular idol like Kim Taehyung has a rude assistant??

If you really don't agree with it, you should immediately say it as soon as he asked me, but you just keep quiet, didn't you?

Aah…but of course, It wont crossed your mind since you were busy with your girlfrind at that time." I said while rolling my eyes sarcastically

Tae looked angry then leaned towards me while pressing his jaw hard, making me surprised.

"Joanna is NOT my girlfriend.

And just so you know Lily, I was this close to jumping over that dinner table to give a lesson to that flirty man who goes around thinking he can easily touch you like that.

And you think I asked you to be around a jerk like that?? Hhh! That's absolutely ridiculous!"

He shook his head in annoyance

So… this isn't Tae's plan??

My heart fluttered suddenly seeing Tae's reaction and hearing all the words that came out of his lips.

"But I....heard it from Pierre...so I thought.." I muttered nervously.

Tae's gaze melted for a moment at me.

He took a deep breath

"And you... believe it?" he asked

I swallowed my saliva nervously without answering his question.

Tae shook his head slowly while muttering

"Gosh, Lily.....i will never do that. I will never.... hhhh.." he suddenly snorted loudly as if confused and lost for words

"S-sorry.... I..." I suddenly feeling bad. I think Pierre and Joanna really managed to get us both misunderstood tonight.

Tae stepped slowly towards me with a deep look cutting the distance between us.

There was something different behind the look in his eyes this time.

As his face looked down at me, his fingers suddenly stretched out gently brushing my cheek.

Uh??

"For God's sake, Lily... how could I let something like that happen while my chest feels tightened every time I see you with another man?" he whispered in a trembling voice.

His eyes stared at me unblinkingly, making me freeze for a moment. My mind immediately scattered trying to catch the meaning of his words.

"...what...d-you mean?" I said getting nervous. slowly but sure, his fragrance began to seep into my sense of smell.

Tae bring his handsome face closer, forcing me to stare at his slightly parted red lips.

Without realizing it, I took steps backwards slowly towards the bedroom door which was not fully closed.

"Well Lily, at first I didn't know what's wrong with me......hhh...

but now....

i know..." he whispered nervously as he continued to walk towards me, making me take another step back..

His gaze was locked on me who was now being attacked by a roaring of my own heartbeat.

"Ummm...?" I muttered nervously while swallowing my saliva slowly.

"I know now what I want ..." he whispered again while looking at me deeply.

DUG!

eh??

Without realizing it, my back hit the cold surface of the door behind me, making me unable to step back again.

"T-tae….I-I don't get it...." I whispered trying to muffle my own wild beating heart.

Without answering, tae suddenly put his left arm firmly beside my face slowly while pushing the door behind me with his palm. His deep eyes never left mine.

Click!

the door behind me closes perfectly, along with his arms that he bends right beside my face, making me trapped between the cold wooden surface and the hot aura emanating from tae's body.
