Feng Jiu groaned. She felt a hand on her forehead. Then she slowly opened her eyes. Her eyesight is a little bit blurry so she blinked them and when her vision cleared, her lips turned an O and she sat up in bed. The memories rushed in her head. Feng Jiu is contemplating whether what happened in the pool is a dream or a reality. Feng Jiu drag the blanket up to her chin. She's embarrassed again. She wants to hit her head on a hard wall to make her stop acting stupid infront of his majesty Dijun. Knowing she's a queen, what will Dijun think of her now?
"Did I dream that...you... "
Feng Jiu pointed at Dong Hua then back at herself then she continued,
"...and I were in the pool?"
Dijun only stared at her. Feng Jiu waited for his reply but she started to get anxious so she asked again.
"Did we get on the same pool Dijun? "
Feng Jiu saw Dijun took a deep breathe then replied,
"What do you think?"
Feng Jiu is now puzzled. Is his majesty playing with her right now? she thought. Feng Jiu still wracked her brain and ask herself then she slowly checked underneath the blanket and realized she's still wearing her clothes but then she realized again that she's wearing less and lacks two layers of clothing. She stared at Dijun and hid her face in the blanket. She realized that the pool incident really did happen. Feng Jiu can't take anymore of the embarrassment that has been accumulated.
"You fainted back in the pool. So I carried you back in here." Dijun spoke, unexpectedly.
"Who's fault is that? " Feng Ji replied quietly but Dijun still heard her and said,
"Your's obviously."
Feng Jiu just looked at Dijun with incredulity written all over her face so instead of retaliating, she just sighed then eyed Dijun again. She found out that Dijun is eyeing her too.
"Why are you here in the old phoenix hut? " she asked not really so sure of his majesty's reason for coming into the peach tree woods.
"I remembered that you only fainted in the pool and didn't hit your head. Did you easily forgot what I told you back in the pool?"
Feng Jiu didn't mind the reply of Dijun instead she scratched her head and think of what he said back in the pool. Because I need you. I intended to come to you because I need you... Xiaobai. Feng Jiu now remembered what Dijun has said and there are two things she realized. First is, this situation they're in is again familiar and two, he called her Xiaobai which also made her feel that someone had called her THAT, before Dijun did. Feng Jiu didn't realize that she's frowning and she's lost on her own thoughts that she didn't saw Dijun reached for her forehead. It was too late that she realized that he did what he did. Feng Jiu looked at Dijun again then asked,
"I remembered now what you've said back in the pool and why are you touching my forehead anyway? "
"I'm checking if you're having a fever."Dijun replied then withdraw his hand on her forehead.
"Oh. I never thought you're a caring person."

When he came earlier, he met the old phoenix and the fourth Bai exiting the peach orchard. Both of them looked surprised that he's in the peach tree woods.
"Surprise...surprise. What made the almighty Dijun come out of his cave? " Zhe Yan said with full of mirth in his tone. Dijun can see it. The old phoenix is teasing him again. With his unreadable expression on his face, Dijun replied,
"I came out of my cave and came here because I need to talk to Bai Zhi."
Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen looked at each other then Zhe Yan looked at Dong Hua and asked,
"Is there a problem?" Zhe Yan asked cautiously. Zhe Yan knew that Dong Hua will never ask for Bai Zhi if there is no imminent threat.
"You'll know if you stay longer. That's what you always do anyways, so why are you asking?" Dijun replied which made Zhe Yan roll his eyes. What did I expect from Dong Hua? Zhe Yan thought. Zhe Yan put aside the worry and caution then looked at Zhen-zhen and nodded.
"Alright. Bai Zhi is staying in the north right now. Zhen-zhen and I are actually going there so it's your lucky day. Oh... You can stay in Qingqiu for the mean time. I'm sure you already met the Queen of Qingqiu so, it will not be hard for you to get more acquainted with her. " Zhe Yan said while smiling widely. There is a hint of teasing in his tone and Dijun could hear it clearly.
"Here Dijun. A letter for my niece. She's actually here in the peach tree woods and in Zhe Yan's hut, still sleeping. When she wakes up, just give her this. She'll know what to do next."
Dong Hua eyed the two and then received the letter and nodded. Deep down, he's surprised that the young Queen is actually here in Zhe Yan's peach tree woods. He felt happy and delighted at the thought that he's going to meet her again. So you're also here Xiaobai. He thought silently.
"How about soaking first in the hot pool at the near end and secluded part of my peach tree woods? I remembered that you like it there. " Zhe Yan said solemnly.
Dong Hua nodded and remembered that almost hidden part. He missed soaking outdoor and listening to the sway of the tress and the noise of the birds without a worry. He looked at the old phoenix again and said,
"Since the queen is still sleeping, I'll go in the pool first. Then later, I'll just meet the queen in Qingqiu and give this letter. "
Dong Hua didn't wait for Zhe Yan to speak and just went along the path going to the hidden pool and Zhe Yan was left grinning while eyeing the retreating back of Dong Hua. Bai Zhen elbowed Zhe Yan and said with worry on his voice,
"Is it okay to leave those two here? "
"Ai ya Zhen-zhen. Can't you see? The fates are again entangling their red thread? No matter how much we try and stop those two from meeting, the fates have a mysterious ways of making them both meet again."
"I'm just worried for Xiaojiu here. Do you remember what she looks like after her trial-ascension? She almost lost her sanity. It's scary to think of what will happen if those two remembered what happened in their past mortal lives. " Bai Zhen said worriedly.
They, the Bai Clan are very protective of their own. He doesn't know what the future will hold for the two but he hopes that he'll never see his niece suffer the same fate as she did back in the mortal realm. He don't think his father and Er Gu will just sit this one calmly if again, Xiaojiu will be hurt. He sighed. Then Bai Zhen felt Zhe Yan's hand on his shoulder and Zhe Yan lightly squeezed his his shoulder. He looked at Zhe Yan and he gave him a sad smile in which Zhe Yan gave him back a reassuring smile.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves here Zhen-zhen. Let's just see how these two will overcome this obstacle being presented to them. Have faith. "
Bai Zhen nodded and they decided to leave so that they'll arrive earlier in the northern territory still under of the Bai's.
Dong Hua was enjoying his time in pool and especially outside. With eyes closed, he listened to the rustle of the leaves of the tress, the scent of the peach blossoms, the twitting of the birds and the calmness of the nature when he heard rustling of clothes and then a sweet humming infront of him. He slowly opened his eyes and there, he saw the naked glory of the Queen of Qingqiu. What are you doing Xiaobai?! Dong Hua wanted to utter the words but he just stood frozen and is watching the every move of the young queen. He saw that her eyes are still closed and wondered if she'll not slip or fall head first into the pool.
Dong Hua can't look away. Even if he want to, he just can't. His body has a mind of its own and he felt it to be more alive and allert. He doesn't know why but his eyes is glued to what the queen is doing. He's unabashedly just stared and watch her every move. Then, the queen submerged herself in the pool. She conjured a small pink square towel and put it on her face and she continued to hum. Dong hua just listened and he also closed his eyes. When the song is near to its end, he started to move so that the queen will take notice that she's not alone on the pool and this make Dong Hua excited. He wanted to see how she'll react.
The queen didn't disappoint him when he saw her eyes widened and her mouth agaped. She saw how she paled and turned red next. Dong Hua released a small smile. The young queen is really amusing. He thought. Then he saw her bowed down and waded on the water to get to her clothes. Then he spoke which earned a stiffened back from her. He likes to tease her much more so he prevented her from leaving but what he didn't expect is that his teasing, he guessed went too far already, for the queen fainted and submerged on the water. Dijun dived down and caught the young queen on her small waist. He checked if she is still breathing and he gave a sigh of relief when she did.
He took one of her clothes and draped it all over her before putting her in the soft grass and then he went out of the pool. Dried himself using his magic and magicked his clothes to appear infront of him. When Dijun is done, he took all the young queens clothes even her undergarments and he carried her back to Zhe Yan's hut. He used his magic to dry her off and also change her clothes too then Dijun sighed in relief again. He doesn't know what he's doing but he felt a little ashamed of what he's done.
He likes to stare at the young queen's beautiful face. Dijun remembered how she look in her bare nakedness and he was just in awe. He never really cared about a woman's attributes but what he saw, he definitely likes it. Dong Hua scolded himself at the train of his thoughts. He checked again the young queen and realized, she'll be out for an hour or two. So he did what he usually do, read a sutra about self restraint.
Back to the present he saw the queen of Qingqiu eyed him with worry etched in her beautiful face then she asked,
"Dijun? Are you okay. "
Dijun nodded back at her then he conjured the letter that her fourth uncle has left for the young queen and then, Dijun handed the letter towards her. Feng Jiu looked at the letter then back to Dijun.
"For me? " she asked.
"From your fourth uncle." He replied.
"You met them?" she asked again. Dijun nodded then replied,
"Yes. They're heading to the Bai's Northern territory."
Feng Jiu looked at Dijun then she slowly opened the letter and started reading and it says,
Xiaojiu,
Dong Hua Dijun and father has an important meeting. I want you to accommodate Dijun properly and please... Be mindful of your actions. Remember, you're already a queen now. Your face is Qingqiu's face now.
Your fourth uncle
Feng Jiu sighed and looked at Dong Hua who she discovered is looking at her too then he said,
"What did it say? "
"That... You'll be coming with me back to Qingqiu." her voice is getting little as she said these words.
"Is that so? Then what are we still doing here?" Dijun said then stood and walked out.
Feng Jiu sighed. She knows that she's going to have an head ache in the name of Dong Hua Dijun. Ready for the long day ahead with Dong Hua Dijun? Feng Jiu thought before she stood and prepare herself for a torturous day ahead.
